Sunlight mode not working MIUI 11 - MIUI Central

Hi,
Sunlight mode is not working when auto brightness is Off. Miui 11.0.1.0 global , Redmi note 7 global.
Anybody has the same problem and did you find a way to fix it?

Hey bro, you can report your issue on Services&feedback app and MIUI engineers will help you solve it!

Hi,
I used it once before(some other issue) and never got an reply. Now I preffer not to be signed in into Mi account.
I also many times contacted xiaomi service by email and also never got any teal help.
Xiaomi dies not have authorised services in Europe.
So if someone has hardware problem is screwed.
BUT and that is huge BUT....... not being able or unwilling to help with software problems which can be easily resolved online is to put it mildly a huge disaster.
After all it's company's decision not to have authorised service, so at least online help should function perfectly instead of being non exsistent.
That is why I asked question here cause someone maybe had same issue.
Thanks anyway

Anyone else have support issues with GPS Tuner?

Hi,
I am looking for an alternative software package to use for GPS on my Touch Pro. The support from this developer is simply substandard. I work in software support myself and if we gave this kind of treatment to our customers I would be out of a job.
Anyhow, I have not been able to use the software for the past 6 months due to a registration error I am getting, their developer will not respond to emails so I gave up trying. Recently I gave it another shot as my support maint. was about to expire. And guess what. No reply yet again. Nadda.
So, anyone looking for GPS software out there, GPS Tuner is a good software package just hope you do not have to try to deal with them if there are any issues.
Anyone else find this with them? Can anyone recommend a decent GPS package where the developers actually support the software when there are issues?
Thanks,
Cant confirm this. I had also a problem with registration. (bought a new PDA-Phone) and got an answer after 2 or 3 days with new registration no.
Ya, I guess I will put it down to they just ignore their users once the software support is up. However, I approached them with this problem when I had 5/6 months of software support left.
At least when I deny customers support for software issues due to their Maint. being out of date I let them know that is the reason. No just ignore them.
Guess I wont be upgrading to their version 6 when it comes out.

[HELP] MightyText and Android 6.0

Anyone use this app with 6.0+? I believe there is an issue in Android 6.0 that will delay or even in some cases not send the message at all. It's either that or Huawei.
I was using a Huawei P9 Plus (amazing phone!) and thought maybe, just maybe it was an issue do to it being an international phone... I ended up using a HTC M8 (terrible, terrible phone!) for a few weeks and it worked fine with Andorid 4.2. Huawei just released the Honor 8 and it has the same issues as the P9 did. Ugh!
Their customer support is hit & miss. Tech support has been working on this with me since June 18th and I can tell they are getting frustrated but come on... I have done everything they've asked me to do and only get replies if I ask for an update. I have to constantly unlink and relink the phone/app/PC - even then it is sporadic.
At this point I am also looking for an alternative to message/SMS from a Windows PC to a smartphone. Individually in groups of 20 or so in some cases. That said, MightyText does everything I need it to do, when it works.
Thanks for any help!

Wondering if you ever got any assistance on this. I basically have to link and unlink my OnePlus 3 every time I want to use MightyText.
No, worst customer support ever. They don't care. It's gotten better with my Mate9 on 8.0 but still glitchy.

Find X2 pro stuck on Android 10

Hey guys,
I posted on the other threads but it seems like my concern shifts to be another.
First off: Yes I have tried switching regions with the tutorials. No nothing happened. I switched back to EuEx, no dualism because I don't need it.
Yes I tried every possible EU VPN Tunnel and updating OTA.
Nothing helped.
Now I have searched for my current Firmware, and there is no actual discussion about it. It is CPH2025_11_A.52 I am on the security Patch Level December 2020. So it came to my mind that it could actually be the firmware that prevents the updatingprocess. Is this possible?
With every other EU-Colleague of mine getting at least C59 with EuEX I'm starting to think it's just my phone.
Is there something I can do about it or do I have to wait for a flashable Android 11 zip? Which would ultimately leave me with selling the phone since I purchased it in regards to receiving an android 11 smartphone.
Thanks for reading in advance!
No problem with your version ,its just Oppo s way of doing things.I have cph 2025.11.A50 november security patch.
I reached them and they said i should take my unit to service ,i asked them why?its not broken !
Very wierd solution.
My phone works like a charm ,great performance ,good battery life ,so im happy with the software.
P.s bought phone from Switzerland.
@andreiselegean1984 @CaptainRage while it may not be broken on the hardware level there definitely seems to be something wrong with it, so sending it in is not that weird a solution imho. There surely is some sort of repair service in your country that acts as an official Oppo partner for warranty repairs, so why not just contact them and see if they can help by just flashing the newest software onto it and be done with it. The only hassle being that you'll have to do without it for a couples of days but maybe you still have one of your older phones that you can use instead for the time being...
Well Oppo doesn't seem to be cooperating that much:
We are sorry to know that you didn’t receive the ColorOS 11 update on your Find X2 Pro just yet.
In order to clarify this for you, please allow us to offer you a background explanation.
To make sure everything of the new version can run smoothly and reduce the unnecessary risk of the end-user, the ColorOS 11 update is released in batches. This is a protective measure used in global leave for all the new software versions. That’s why a certain amount of devices don’t receive the update on the announced date. But don’t worry! As your satisfaction is our priority, we at OPPO are doing our best to release the update for your phone as soon as possible. Rest assured that you will receive ColorOS 11 soon.
I appreciate your understanding and wish you a wonderful day!

This is just the usual BS the customer service gives you, forget about that. There have to be companies in your country that are official Oppo service partners which do all the repairs that are eligible for warranty. Contact one of them directly and tell them what the problem is and see if they accept it as a warranty repair.

Question Google Play Apps "pending" on OnePlus 9 in China

Hi Everyone - Sorry in advance that I have ridiculous beginner questions, but I just moved to China AND I just bought my first OnePlus Friday. I'm coming from a Pixel 4a5G and couple pixels before that. I haven't rooted or tweaked in many years since my Galaxy Siii with CyanogenMod. As you're about to see, I have no idea what I'm doing...
My phone: OnePlus 9 LE2110 (China) running ColorOS 11.2 (LE2110_11_A.01)
Carrier: China Mobile (also have Google Fi and will probably dual sim)
Current Location: China (but travel to US, UAE and will use Google Fi there)
I just want stability, Google Apps and for all my 4G/5G service whether I am in China or in the US. I'm fine keeping ColorOS or switching to OxygenOS. Because I value stability, I am hoping to not root or do things that might jeopardize that too much.
I've been able to sideload some apps, but I don't find that to be sustainable. I've installed the Play Store and it says it is certified, but nothing will download. An app will look like it tries to download, but gets stuck at "pending." I do have ExpressV*N running and have no issues getting gmail or the other couple Google apps working. I'm running Play 25.5.27-21
Am I able to get the Play store running and apps updating on ColorOS in China? If so, any ideas what I've done wrong?
If not, do I need to do anything besides what mlgmxyysd (amazing by the way!!) listed on the downgrade post to downgrade and install OxygenOS? I saw some people having issues with IMEIs. Looks like the latest update solved it, but I have no idea if I need to do something different.
Does the downgrade here use the Indian build? If so, should I stick with that or try to upgrade eventually to the US build? Is that even possible?
My dumbest question of all: do I download the ColorOS downgrade file if I am switching from ColorOS to OxygenOS?
I promise I have done 8-10 hours of research to try and answer my own questions. It might not seem like it and I'm sure I've overlooked very obvious information, but it's because I'm dumb, not lazy.
If you've made it this far: thanks for reading and for any insight you might have.
If you want stability, then you might want to change to oxygenOS. Most of the users here are using oxygenOS. And I haven't encountered any bugs as of yet on my oneplus 9. This will most likely solve your issue on google.

Thanks. I finally bit the bullet and converted. No real issues except for one error that has gone away (or been hidden and doesn't matter). I still have my 5g connection which I was concerned about (I average 200 Mbps on speed test) and was able to sync with my Google account so I have Play and all my old apps.
I've gotten an OTA update for 11.2.7.7.LE25DA and I'm nervous to ruin a good thing so I haven't installed it yet. I'm also only running my China Mobile sim. I haven't added my Fi SIM to it yet, also for fear of breaking something.
Either way, this really changed my life. Thanks for your final push and for the OP of the ColorOS to OxygenOS conversion.
if rooted use magisk hide like in screenshot I make my pixel 5 change fingerprint to anything and then it should work if not do the device id and maker mine showed
obviously oxygen os is the better choice ,coloros has too many ads. And you don't have to download the degraded file between o os and color os.
Thanks, everyone. Shortly after I posted this and got a little feedback I switched to Oxygen OS. It was a game changer. I don't care so much about Color OS vs. Oxygen OS (I see some merits in both), but this is much closer to my old Pixel feel and more importantly, I have easy access to Play store.

Question Screen randomly wakes up + ghost touches

Hi, my dads almost new Poco X3 Pro is acting up. It's randomly waking up every now and then and whenever this happens the screen jumps around. It's impossible to stop it without shutting the phone down hard.
Your browser is not able to display this video.
Can someone tell me what is going on? It's not just waking up, it's basically unusable when this happens.
This is a hardware issue!
Take the phone to the nearest center and have it replaced.

Not sure about that, after the latest update "12.5.1" had a similar problem and it was because of an app, as soon as I opened the app (it was an screen dimmer to reduce brightness) the same exact thing happened to me. Rebooted the phone, uninstalled the app and never had the same problem again.
So it can be software related.
Is it a miui rom with locked bootloader?
Assuming your dad's phone did not unlock bootloader, bring it to Xiaomi authorized repair center.
This issue should be solved by them. It's not clear whether hardware or software issue.
It's for sure warranty covered at this timing.
If you've unlock bootloader, then check the policy of Xiaomi if they have warranty cover after unlocked bootloader. Different countries/ regions have different policy and warranty coverage.
Thanks everyone for your hints.
The phone is around 4 weeks old, all stock, bootloader still locked, no modifications whatsoever.
I not completely sure but it might be that these problems started occuring after an update, so I might look into what trambolique said and uninstall any occurences of "hey dad, where the heck did you get this app from?".
Edit: Tbh I have no clue how the whole warranty policy is for Xiaomi devices here in Germany. I'll have to look into this if the problem persists.

You said bootloader is still locked. So you don't have to worry about warranty policy. It is definitely covered under warranty.
If removing apps don't fix the issue, go find Xiaomi to fix this.
They will likely tell you to factory reset first though. So you can try before going to them, but back up your dad's data, photo, movie, videos, anything important, etc.

In Germany, the seller is always your first point of contact within the legally prescribed two-year warranty. In the first six months (or one year nowadays?) after purchase, the dealer also has the burden of proof that the device you purchased was not already delivered with a defect.
As far as I know, there is no loss of warranty within the EU when opening the bootloader / rooting the phone.
Quick update: I went through all of his apps and disabled all unnecessary notifications. Until now (24h later) the problem hasn't appeared since. I will wait for a few more days to be sure and I'll also experiment with some useful notifications but at the moment my guess is that it's a software issue.

I'm glad you resolved it! I was pretty sure it was software related, some issue about permissions or something like that with the new update.
