Is Z flip 855 or 855+ - Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Questions & Answers

Hi
I saw many site stating it running on 855+ but when i run cpu-z it show 855 and SM-8150
is there a variant of Z Flip running 855 instead of 855+?
Strange..

Lazy copied from elsewhere: Snapdragon 855 Plus is just the overclocked version of 855. Model number is exactly the same. If it's showing cpu at 2.96GHz it's the Plus, if it's 2.84GHz it's the regular variant. That's the only difference.

[Q] HTC One X vs Nexus 4 vs Galaxy S3 vs Note 2 vs G Pro vs Xperia ZL in real world

I have only used dumb-phones until now and plan to get a smartphone.
I did a little surfing and found Adreno 320 is better than Mali 400 GPU and Qualcomm Snapdragons are better than Samsung Exynos, right?
But in real world they say Note 2 is considered better phone than Nexus 4. I don't understand this.
Different phones top in different benchmarks, and still some things like display quality are not considered in benchmarks i guess, right?
Now I haven't used any smartphone before, and the I would be using it for gaming or watching videos/movies only most of the time as I'm a student.
Which of these phones that I mentioned (all in 23-29,000 INR range) are better than others in reality?
Those who have used these phones or are techsavy might be able to guide me in making the right choice
Just found S3 in India has different specs than in US, Canada etc.
India: 1.4 Ghz Quad-core Exynos 4412,Mali-400,1GB
US: 1.5 Ghz Dual-core Snapdragon, Adreno 225,2GB

Different Soc?

Afaik honor 8 have kirin 950..
Checked with cpuz mine shown kirin 955..
Does anyone have same soc as mine or I have fake one...
Bought it from bestbuy.
no it's not fake, newer honor 8 or some new variant does have 955.
Mine says 955 as well. I ain't mad if that's the case. Slightly better processor
Most reviews and spec sheets for the Honor 8 list the CPU as a Kirin 950/955 because of the fact that more recent production runs are using the 955 instead of the 950. Other than the slight performance boost, the 955 shouldn't be significantly different from the 950 though...
settings-about phone. Mine is 950. In cpuz, it stated 955.
My about phone in settings say 950 but cpu-z says 955, not sure which is correct?
Edit: i downloaded 5 others and the ones with the z say 955 and the ones with x say 950, so i think i will just trust the about phone in settings
Same here! Settings 950 and CPU-Z says 955. Thats strange :victory:
Sent from my Honor 8 using XDA Labs
Mine says the same.... Settings 950, CPUz 955...
To be fair the 950 is just an underclocked 955.. Why change processor as a whole for 0.2 GHz less?
So...can we overclock it?

Planning to upgrade phone but unsure of 'latest technology' etc

Firstly, appolgize if wrong thread & I know there's probably many posts asking the same thing...
I'm planning to get a new Mobile - after having a Galaxy S4 (stuck on Android 4 since KNOX trip) since they first came out.
I'm a VERY light user, only using it for occasional text/calls, the occasional game & a little bit of Web Browsing (if I find any free Wifi hotspots)
.. Been looking at 'mid-range' SIM-free phones at about £200-£300 (could go as high as £350-ish IF the phone offers better 'futureproofing) with the following basic specs
5" (or larger) screen
32Mb (or more) / 3Gb (or more) RAM
3000mA battery (or more)
SD Card slot
Android 6/7 (6 as long as there's planned update to 7)
As little bloatware as possible - not too fussed if not quite 'vanilla' android but close to it would be nice
Now at first I narrowed it down to possibly a Moto G4 Plus but I find that the UK version does NOT have a compass, which I believe (wrongly perhaps) is usually essential if you plan to use any sat-nav software (which I occcasionally have to use).
Then I considered waiting for the Nokia 6.. possibly even the Arte Black version (when it FINALLY arrives in the UK) - since it's virtually 'Vanilla' Android & would probably won't have too much Bloatware - but I then read reviews that it can be a 'little laggy' opening apps
Then the Huawei Honor 8 was thought about but then read that some reviewers don't like the Emotion UI very much (not knowing the actual reason why they don't like it I won't know if I'd like it)
& finally the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) or Galaxy J7 Pro (if I can find a shop that sells it) is added to my short list but considering how much bloatware was installed on my aging S4 I'm concerned the A5/J7 will also have umpteen apps I will never use installed
Now I know the Moto G4 / Nokia 6 have larger screens than the Honor 8/A5 & the specs are not quite the same between phones (I've been using another website to compare specs.. not sure if allowed to post link/name but hopefully it'll be allowed - GSMARENA) but since I've been out of the Android game for a while - I'm confused over many of the specs
Examples:
Chipset: Which is considered 'better' - a Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617, Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430, HiSilicon Kirin 950 or Exynos 7880 Octa
CPU: Octa-core (4x1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x1.2 GHz Cortex-A53), Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53, Octa-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A53, or Octa-core (4x2.3 GHz Cortex-A72 & 4x1.8 GHz Cortex A53)
GPU: Adreno 405 , Adreno 505, Mali-T880 MP4, Mali-T830MP3
Screen: is 'IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen' better or worse than 'Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen'
what is a 'Li-Po 3000 mAh battery' - is it any better/worse than a 'Li-ion'
So , can anyone explain which is considered 'better' than the other specs..
Which phone would you consider from my short list... any suggestions of other phones I may've overlooked that have similar basic specs ??
Edit: So many views - no answers
Anyway, Still looking at phones
- what do you think about the Huawei P10 Lite??
Thanxs in advance

Hmmm strange iv just read too that it was 732 but mine says 730 too
May be the app is not updated and doesn't have the 732G codes. 732G is rather new.
Moreover this phone is giving the benchmark score of 730 which is 27 lac something
732G gives 31 lac+ score.
Someone please confirm the SoC used in this phone.
I checked using CPU-Z it shows SDMMAGPIE which is actually the codename for Snapdragon 730. On AIDA-64 it also shows Snapdragon 730 (SM7150). It's weird, but the GPU is correct, Adreno 618.
It should be confirmed from official support
732 it almost same as 730 but 732 its 2.3 ghz so
it shchold be 732 in poco
730g and 732g are practically the same soc, and the 732 is brand new, the majority of the apps can't recognise it simply because they are not updated to recognise it.
I mailed the developer of this app, he uploaded the beta version. Now its showing 732G
730G and 732G are variants of the 730 SOC.
The only difference is the clock frequency - 2.200 MHz at the 730G and 2.300 MHz at the 732G.

Benchmarking Snapdragon via Exynos

Hi, In my hand are two notes 20Ultra .One SM-N9860DS second SM-N986BDS. So first is with Snapdragon and last it is Exynos. I have the same aplication, level system. So start situation for benchmark test is parallel. I have tried Geekbench5, Geekbench4, 3DMark and more then 3/4 tests Exynos is better then Snapdragon. Quite different theory we can find in Internet... To that my first experience was with SM-N986U1 from US and this model was always better to Exynos 200- 250 pkt in Geekbench5. To tell You truth I don't undrestend: it is sowtware problem or other issues?
Last resalts 3DMark
Snapdragon 4134 pkt
Exynos 4232 pkt.
Do You have the same experience ?
I've seen exynos at 540000,with continuous drop in scores after several tests. Here is mine sd variant
Is it Antutu?
What is Youre Exynos resalts? That what I found in media , that no procesor generate the problem but the cooling system. If You have grafen inside Exynos will working very well. Unfortunately no-one know what we have in own hand.
BR
Yes Antutu snapdragon.I don't have exynos but have seen on youtube.
The exynos is slower than the snapdragon also throttles faster. Several test show this...
Hi, I have got 600086. Whats resalts You have others owners... How about Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with 16GB RAM and Snapdragons CPU?
