Mi 10 pro vs OnePlus 8 pro - Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Questions & Answers

I bought Oneplus 8 pro because of mi10 pro was not available in time when I have done purchase. I consider now return my 8 pro and buy mi 10 pro? Is it worth to do that? Does mi10 pro is overall really much better than 8 pro? I have a lot of Xiaomi accessories and I am used to Xiaomi smartphone. My one concern is miui... How mi10 pro keep background task and Have you noticed notification issue one this device? It was always a huge pain on Xiaomi device and only one reason which prevent me from swapping right now.

I love my MI 10 PRO.
I come from Oneplus and for now I don't miss its software at all. Miui 11 is doing very well. And when Miui 12 arrives, it'll be much better.
Stereo speakers are great for music, videos, etc.
Fast charging is fantastic, and the screen makes me 8 hours on!!!!

They are 2 good phones. I did the same thing but I will keep the OnePlus 8 pro. Do not disturb mode is essential to me, I need to be available for many times in a month during night hours. I need to receive calls from anyone and no notification sound and on the Mi 10 / Mi 10 pro do not disturb mode doesn't work (like most xiaomi phones). Even in miui 12 beta.
So... There is anything else I can do....

Have had both of them same time..they are both great phones,1+8 litle bit smoothier but with 1H less screen sot,mi 10 pro better speakers(best in phone i have heard till now) screens almost same in terms of quality/brightness..
But there is a but..many people having issues with 1+8 pro screens so its a big deal for me that..overall i can call it like a tie in terms of what to choose.

Both phones haves pros and cons.
MI 10 PRO
PROS
Better camera quality with zooms from 2x to 10x. With MIUI 12 it will get better with new functions, night mode 3.0 and new interface.
Better stereo speakers
Good battery life (with 90Hz display it goes from 5 to 8 SoT depending on use) - With MIUI 12 it will receive 120Hz option, i must retest battery life
Good screen (FHD+ is good for resolution and save battery instead of WQHD+)
CONS
108MP camera is not "easy" to use. It's big with a la low f. value. Focus point is very small but natural bokeh is amazing. You should take a lot of pictures to understand how it works.
Big and heavy.
ONEPLUS 8 PRO
PROS
Better UI. Oxygen is faster and smoother
Better support. OnePlus beta is a very good program
Better design of the back
CONS
Good camera setup but not yet a top cameraphone
Battery is slighlty under MI 10 pro (with WQHD and 120HZ from 4 to 5 hours of SoT depending on use - with FHD and 120Hz from 4 to 6 hours)

Hello, about 120HZ on MIUI 12 did you read it somewhere or you just believe that will be?
Thanks in advance.

You missed the wonderful fast charge of the MI 10 PRO. I'm totally impressed.
About the battery life is spectacular. I do 8 hours of screen!!!
About the software, I have to say that my previous mobile was Oneplus and to this day, they don't miss anything.
Miui 11 is a marvel and tomorrow now comes Miui 12 which will be even better.

Does it work?

I come from the OP7 Pro, mainly switched to the Mi 10 Pro because of the camera. Also, the OP8 pro looks too similar to my Op7 Pro IMO. These also got rid of the amazing popup camera. The screen on the op8 pro ist way too curvy at the edge IMO. You can unlock the bootloader on both of them. MIUI 11 runs perfect for me, but Oxygen OS is also perfect IMO.
Just pick the one you prefer.

I come from OnePlus 8 pro and I don't get the fuzz about oxygen os which is very poooooor compared to miui !!!
For example.
In xiaomi.eu rom the music player can act exactly like YouTube premium. No ads and can play in the background
With mi browser YouTube with no ads and you can easily download media from Facebook and Instagram.
Actually there is a video tools can make any video app play in the background
Plus battery life and charging speeds
Speakers quality
Camera is better quality and functions
Qhd is nice. But nah.

Oxygen os is known to be a snappy os. Do you find it snappier than miui?

First of all trust me It is OVERRATED!
Used to be the snappiest yes but not anymore for a long time. Please check phonebuff speed test between the oneplus 7 pro and Samsung note 10 plus... Yes Samsung oneui !!!! and you will be shocked that even Samsung is faster!
It's a poor limited os compared to others! Reviewers is paid to say it's snappy. That's all

Better VFM - Poco F1 or Redmi Note 6 Pro?

I do not change phones very often. I have a redmi note 3 for about 3 years now, and I was looking for Mi 8 to launch in India for a possible upgrade. That's not likely to happen, and Redmi Note 7 is not likely to get launched in India for another month (at least). However, my phone has recently developed some issue which makes the display blank out randomly. Once blanked, it doesn't return for a few seconds (and sometimes for a few mins). Further, there is a constant earphone icon (without any earphones connected) which forces me to take all the calls on loudspeaker mode. This could be due to the recent fall (my phone has several scratches dents due to various falls from different heights), and that makes build quality an important consideration. Thus, I need to buy a new phone at the earliest.
A sale is going to start in a couple of days, which is offering Poco F1 (6/64) @ 19K and Redmi Note 6 Pro (4/64) @ 13K. I'm not much of a gamer. My primary phone usage include: browsing quora, and wi-fi hotspot from my 4G network. What I'm additionally looking for is good build quality, good battery life, and decent rear camera.
Based on the above requirement, and your experience, could you please recommend between Poco F1 and Redmi Note 6 Pro?
My two cents:
It depends on your budget and your expectations.
In my case, I bought the Redmi Note 6 Pro as a secondary phone, trying to keep the budget the lowest possible.
The battery life is amazing, the phone is snappy enough for my usage, Wi-Fi hotspot works great (in particular thanks to the Dual SIM, I have a specific SIM card specifically for data that I am tethering to my laptop), and games are okay in my standard (never playing more than 2048). Camera is decent in day light but not very good in low-light (heck its a 160€ phone!). It is also true that the 636 is starting to become old but it is still very much up to date.
The F1 is already a more flagship phone, with more ROM support and more popularity so I expect it to have support for a longer period of time from the community.
On the other side, the Note 6 Pro is starting to pick up now with more ROMs that can improve the user experience if you don't like MIUI.
Overall, if you have the budget for the F1 go for it, but if you don't feel like spending it the difference then the Note 6 Pro is also a very good choice

FlipKart kind of decided it for me. Bought RMN 6Pro @ 11,700/-, whereas the Poco could be had for 18,250/-. Somehow nearly 6.5k price difference (over 50%) didn't look just vis-a-vis my requirements. Although, if you can wait (I couldn't), 7 Pro may arrive in March.

In my experience, Asus phones are good initially, but somehow do not have as much longevity as Redmi (considering avg life span of 1.5 yrs for ASUS, and 2.5 yrs for MI among all my acquaintances) . MIUI updates are also more frequent, if you aren't looking for custom ROMs (I stopped using custom ROMs ever since MIUI). Also, haven't heard much good things about Max Pro's camera, though battery definitely looks impressive, and with some optimisations it should be able to provide at least 2 more hrs of SOT.

OnePlus 7 Pro OR Redmi K20 Pro ?

Hi, I decided to change my phone (LG G5) this year, because finally here are the notch-less phones.
I'm really interested by the oneplus 7 pro, the asus zenfone 6 doesn't seem better, but the Xiaomi Redmi k20 is coming soon.
With the same features, but seems smaller (I think that the oneplus is really too big for the one hand use)
But, mostly it's about the OS, miui or oxygen os ?
miui seems close to apple (no thank you) and oxygen close to android stock.
Do you think I should wait the redmi k20 announce ? (28 may) or it doesn't worth to wait ?
Thanks.

I haven't done full research into the k20 but if the question is between OxygenOS Vs MIUI and generally between how Xiaomi operates Vs OnePlus then I would say OnePlus every day of the week.
I have been personally interested in the Xiaomi Mi phones for a few years but I always see a lack of ROM development, the extended period of time it takes to get your bootloader unlocked, the adverts built into MIUI and the heavy customisation as really big negatives of Xiaomi.
The performance of the OnePlus 7 Pro is fantastic. If you use the GPU Profiling developer setting, even on 90hz 1440p, the phone hardly goes over the green line (or doesn't drop frames) on the stock kernel. Once we get custom kernels up and running from the likes of RenderBroken and Arter97, this thing will absolutely fly!
In terms of size I have smaller hands and I agree that you can't use this phone one handed all of the time. There are things you can do like swipe down for notifications that do help but it's still a two handed phone for some uses. Having said that, that's the way this industry is going so for mez I would need a phone with 5-5.5inch display with all screen display to be truely one handed (HTC 10 was the last phone I could use completely one handed and manage to reach everywhere on the phone without it being awkward).
My view is go for the 7 Pro and you won't regret it.
Sent from my OnePlus7Pro using XDA Labs
Thanks for the detailed reply, I agree with you and I think to buy it tomorrow

Yeah it seems nice, but I don't really care anymore as I already bought the OP7pro.
The redmi is still not announced in France, I think the redmi k20 is a little better on the hardware, but not the software.
And yes cheaper.
I'm happy with the OP7pro, except a little too much heavy but I don't regret, but it's nice for redmi, the market need flagships killer.

OEM skin is a main factor that you have to decide.
Oxygen OS is not perfect either. Killing app on background aggressively is something that oneplus doesn't want to fix. Echo voice on Snapchat Facebook messenger etc. Battery life is not great either.
One plus always !
OnePlus 7Pro for the win!

You can disable the ads and I am hoping because of the agressive pricing and bootloader unlock there will be tons of custom ROMs so software should not be an issue
I was so about to order the Oneplus 7 pro but now after the K20 pro launch I am having second thoughts.
Can someone please state all the reasons why I must buy OP7 pro over the K20 pro so that my faith in Oneplus is restored again

I just disagree about this point, the battery is awesome.
I charged it yesterday morning 100%, I used it a lot as a new phone a lot of config, but also videos à 100% brightness (screen at 90hz)
I only charge it during the car (watching video 100% too and low charging in car), not charging during the night, this morning I am at 61%.
And another good point, screen at 100%, videos, games, install apps etc.. and no heat.
This is the first time I don't need to charge a phone during my sleep.
Interested to see how well the K20 pro works with Oxygen OS flashed on it. Cheaper phone with OOS, that'll do nicely.
K20, it has a headphone jack, I won't feed tard companies that wants to force you to buy new headphones that are inferior to the ones with cable at this point.
I went for the 9t pro.. Flat screen, headphone jack and £300 cheaper for similar spec - 8gb/256gb model... A no brainer imo... No adware I can see and I use nova launcher anyway re GUI. Awesome. Would've liked regular software updates but for the price .....
I own the K20 pro before the OnePlus 7 pro,the display under sunlight it's like cheap oled screen the colour is bad, fingerprint doesn't recognize all the time if your finger is dirt or wet, the miui have a lot of bugs, the front camera capture the coverbord if you use the full body cover and is little annoying

Mi Note 10 or Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro?

Hello Community !
I rly dont know what is better, i saw awesome cam shots and videos made with the Mi Note 10 but the Poco F2 Pro is newer and yea ... is it better? I dont know, what do you guys think? Some of you have already some month this Mi Note 10 Phone and whats your opinion about it?
I hope you can help me a little bit
- https://www.mi.com/de/poco-f2-pro/ (8k recording, Snapdragon™
865 , 5G connection, 4700mAh, full display without a notch etc)
i was about to get the poco f2 aswell, but decided for the mi note 10 LITE (350€).
the camera sensor on the mi note 10 LITE would be the same like on the poco f2. Sony IMX686 which seems perfect for GCam mods.
the normal note 10 has a samsung sensor, which is "better" specs wise. but i heard multiple times that many prefer the sony sensor in the note 10 LITE (gcam advantages).
regarding the mi note 10 (lite):
performance is perfectly fine on the snapdragon 730g. [email protected] is max. here. i dont miss anything when it comes to performance (iam not a gamer though!).
battery is now even better on android 10 what i have heard. usually getting 8-10h SoT
5g is a useless feature for me. 4g is far enough and it can reach higher distances.
notch can be hidden via UI settings.
if you need massive gaming performance and 8k recording, the s865 is a must then.
As for the main sensors I dont think there is noticeable difference. (IMO sony probably the better choice when using gcam).
The main difference is that with note 10 you get OIS, which you don't get with poco f2. And you also get zoom camera with OIS.
Poco f2 will probably have better and faster processing due to the SD865, which assists HDR prosessing and video. It also has a decent macro camera.
So it is a close race, I'd probably say the note 10 has the most versatile camera system with OIS. But else the poco wins in every aspect. Better performance, no-notch screen, better batterytime ( note 10 battery time is not so impressive despite the large battery, my mi 9t with 4000mah last longer for example).
regarding the battery questions, which was quite important to me:
https://www.chinahandys.net/xiaomi-mi-note-10-lite-testbericht/#akku
https://www.chinahandys.net/poco-f2-pro-testbericht/#akkulaufzeit
Note10LITE > Note10 > POCOF2
As for the note 10 lite you get a downgrade on almost all cameras vs note 10.
No OIS is the most noticeable one. But also downgraded ultrawide, selfie and no zoom.
If want a god camera Note 10 , if not No one, better a Oneplus 7 pro , poco its ok but ith the price 350 eu not 500 3u like a 7pro.
Mi note 10 with 350/400 eu its the best camera phone overall...
Hi DerSky1,
I have both phones here in my hands. Since january this year i was using the Note 10, and I was ordering the Poco F2 Pro, arriving last week.
What is bad about the Note 10?:
-Processor, lags on webpages with lot of advertisment ****.
-Processor, 108MP Pictures take some time to be processed, so you have to wait to shoot the next, as well as to see you shot after taking...
-fingerprint scanner seems to be more slowly than on Poco F2 pro
What is bad about the Poco F2 Pro?:
-The displays color accuracy is not as good as on the Note 10 (more blue)
-No FM-Radio
- IMX686 Sony Sensor is tiny compared to the Samsung 108Mpx from the Note, resulting in, i would say not as good pictures...
What makes no difference:
- batterie lasts same on both phones
-Size is similar, Poco is a bit longer
- Note 10 has a curved display, poco f2 not.
-Charging Speed in real life is very similar.
- 5G in Poco as there is no area wide 5G network in Germany for the next 2 years at least
My conclusion:
Sell the Poco, think of getting a Mi 10, or wait until note 11... hopefully with SD 765G
Fell free to ask further questions.

Gsm arena review of the poco f2, as expected.the batterylife is excellent, and beating mi note 10 ( and all other sd865 phones!)
Bit conserning is the inconsistent camera performance. This could have been better if it had OIS.

Glad I got the Mi Note 10 Pro, I had actually ordered the F2 Pro, but at the beggining of the shipment was damage and the seller decided to cancel the purchase I made. I was nervous about the review of the F2 pro on YouTube because they switched out the telephoto camera that was in the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom, and switch out the lens with a Macro Camera, which I have little interest in. After the shiment was cancelled, I ordered the Mi Note 10 Pro. What I really lime about the F2 pro reminds me of when I owned the Mi 9T, and I love you have more options to change the color of the pop-up camere, which the Mi 9T only have one color - (depending of the color of the phone you purchased).
After owning the Xiaomi Mi 9T, which sports the same chip as the Mi Note 10/10 Pro, the battery size was the only let down, the mid range chipset is more than acceptable YouTube and media consumption. Since its an Amoled screen, I rather use a PC or console or tablet only because I prefer not to over use Amoled screens in general = screen burns. I really love the camera on the Mi Note 10 Pro, the curved screen took some time to get used too, esoecially the texting. The texting gotten better once choosing to expanding the edge accidental touch option.. But once I slapped on a slim TPU screen protector on, the screen feels amazing. Have tried a tempered glass on the Mi Note 10, those screens do jot work and takes away from the screen sensitivity. TPU and Hydrogel is the way to go.
The battery usage is amazing and after tweaking more with the CPU processor to 300Mhz minimum, and adb shell-ing out useless apps. I can say this phone is worth getting. Using the latest Xiaomi EU is amazing, I also have tried Miui 12 weekly 5.28, I like the smooth zooming capabilities of the telephoto cameras. The high screen refresh rate take some getting use to, the sooth movements makes my eyes hurt a bit, haha. Feels a bit "too" buttery smooth, but the positive side to the situation is the smooth scrolling in web pages, apps and in general. The smooth scrolling eliminate any microlags left behind from Miui 11, and that is a huge plus ( using Xiaomi Eu 5.28) I am sure Miui 12 will get much better, especially with this phone.
I don't particularly go for high end phones, but.........If the Poco brand release the Poco F2 Pro Zoom, then it will be worth buying only because I love the Xiaomi Mi 9T.
I also came from Mi 9T (best all-round/bang for buck phone 2019 IMO), mainly for OIS in the MI note 10.
And my observations (compared to 9T); battery life of mi note 10 noticeably worse despite larger battery. This has improved with android 10, but still not what I'd expect from the battery size (maybe the visionox amoled display is more power hungry?). Not really much improvement from the main camera in most situations (Using gcam on both phones) but easier to get better night shots, but more versatile camera system overall for mi note 10 of course. Mi note 10 has better quality display, but with the hated notch! And I do not really enjoy the curved egdes that gives distorted image quality along the edges, but I can live with it.
And I agree, it is a pity that poco f2 is not based on the zoom edition. OIS + zoom camera is a major dealbreaker.

Very true, I would be great if they release a Pro edition. Meanwhile it seems like the Mi Note 10 will have another variant with a Snapdragon 775 and 12x optical zoom, possibly with periscope zoom. Plus support for 120x digital zoom. For sure when more details will be reveal soon, I will definitely stick with this phone until its succesor arrive.
I realy love the Mi 9T too, the experience with that device was similar ti when I had the Mi Mix with its 4500mah and full screen.

Does it worth it? (AMOLED, ROM Development...)

Hi,
I've been saving to get a Mi 9T pro for quite some time... and of course now it isn't available at a reasonable price, so my eyes are on a Poco F2 Pro (i live in Europe right now).
My only requirements would be:
mandatory:
- headphone jack (check)
- Super AMOLED without bloody hole (who would do that??) (can you confirm it is a super amoled screen like mi 9T pro and Mi 9 lite, not just amoled (like Mi 9T) please?) (check i guess)
slightly less important:
- stereo speakers (not checked, i live w/o it i guess! cause in that price range i can't find anything, specially with the 2 first requirements)
- microSD slot (ok i'll plug it more often then...)
and last but not least:
- good community regarding development, tweaks, custom roms and so on => will this one be checked one day ? What do you think ? I see sources are out but missing a lot of parts... are people gonna get some enthusiasm on that phone at one point ? (so, yeah, if somebody could tell me the future ^^ and the next lottery numbers while you're at it...)
So, well, maybe I'm too demanding, what do you guys think, and is there a way to be happy with stock MIUI (debloating?) to begin with ?
Sorry if all of that was already address, I take my chances asking my concern to the community before I buy anything as it is a big expense for me.
THANKS A LOT for your time and your help
Cheers !
I would suggest getting Mi9T pro/K20 Pro or better yet get One plus 7T pro. I have K30 Pro Zoom edition and K20 Pro.
To your points:
Both have headphone jack.
Both very nice screen. K30Pro/PocoF2 Pro has bigger screen. There are reports here that the poco F2 Pro may have yellow/green tint. Mine has perfect screen no issues
Stereo has K20Pro ... sort of, if u mod it otherwise no stereo for both phones
No SD Card slot for both.
Also both have USB 2.0 speed on USB C port. Speed is around 30 MB/s
I will bet poco F2 pro will not get development community as did K20 Pro.
I use on both phones Chinese MIUI with heavy debloatet script and magisk module. I have better experience this way than any other ROM (even miui eu)
Hesitating between the OnePlus Nord and the F2 Pro too, considering the F2 is vastly superior for less than 100 bucks more. If only I had some time to get back in the dev community... Some OmniROM on this things would be nice

OnePlus Nord seems nice, but:
slighty less processing power (still a lot)
LPDDR4X RAM vs LPDDR5 (still totally fine!!)
no cooling system
no LED (lol)
no jack
no IR (^^)
but:
maybe better screen (a bit smaller though)
probably better camera (OIS)
lighter weight (but no IP and plastic design)
so that could do it...
BUT.... has a f*** hole in the screen !
Let us know if you pick one
And may the time be with you one day to build some code
Cheers !

How do you compare the screen of K20 Pro and F2 pro ?
Same same ?
One plus 7T pro seems nice, still expensive though, and no jack -p) but good development i guess...
Cheers !

What? No, the f2 has better screen. Well as long as you don't care about Refresh rate. But touch sampling is better 120 Vs 180 on the f2
Camera is better on the f2 even with ois

I can not say for Poco F2 Pro/K30 Pro as I have the Zoom edition (different hardware) but the Zoom has slightly brighter screen than K20 Pro. I had for the short time Oneplus 7T pro. it had better color accuracy and 90 Hz
.

It will get bettter development community than K20 pro lol. Just wait for it to launch in India and you'll see official custom ROMs in just 4-5 weeks.

Source for that release date?
Because I just read that India will not get the phone at all!
Amazing phone, but MIUI with zero custom rom development is a no-go for me.
I have the poco f2 pro and owned 2 mi9t pro before as well. The phone is not bad but not great. Have it over a month now, miui 12 was a nice improvement but I see some bugs since the update. The screen sometimes go dark and take a good few seconds to recover. Happened when using chrome or various other apps. I had to even reboot at one point because it didn't recover. I know a wipe could resolve the issue just too lazy to do it and I only see the above bug a few times.
Comparing to the mi9t pro it has much nicer features such as the harptic feedback is nicer. Camera and touch response is also better, not even mention the longer battery life. However due to the size and weight I did find the mi9t pro much more usable. I have small hand and for me does require 2 hands to operate cause I cannot reach much with one hand.
Custom rom does exist check xiaomi.eu but its very limited compare how the mi9t pro\k20 pro was. I'm not planning to mess around with roms just wanted a device which works, this doesn't really bothers me.
Is it worth it? Hmm the market is fludded with good devices, if you want a full screen display there isn't much option available, the cut out or teardrop style is more common then anything else. The answer is subjective but owning the device I may look around and chose a different one.
Since this phone will 100% sure get Android 11 , I think most logical way forward (from dev perspective) is wait for that release before doing any custom ROM. Doing it now with current release base (its buggy too) is probably waste of time.
This is not the first phone with the same situation happened before.
I own both mi9t pro 128gb and k30 pro 256gb (zoom edition) and I can certainly says it surely an upgrade especially when you do gaming often.
Im not sure about everybody else, but in my experience, mi9t pro do stutter in games from time to time which I suspect comes from thermal throttling. On the other hand, my k30 pro did not have such issue at all. Mind you, it was both on miui 12 latest stable rom.
Oh yes, plus the added benefit of getting UFS 3.1, LPDDR5, bigger battery, IR blaster, faster charging, bigger battery, latest chipset, 5G (future-proofing), and most importantly for me, the OIS on both telephoto and main camera lens enable me to take long exposure and night shot without those blurry image. 3x telephoto lens not just better in zooming but also double as macro lens with AF! I can zoom up to 30x and have a decent moon-shot, albeit not so great but still good enough. All in all, its well worth to be considered as an upgrade.
Before i forgot, yes the screen is definitely super amoled, which comes with good factory-calibration on "Standard" or "Original" mode. P3 and sRGB mode as preset are great option to have which mi9t pro really missing.

Yup. Poco f2 pro won't launch in India. They'll launch it as K30 Pro. It is because of this Covid situation that launch has been delayed. Also Xiaomi India is trying to clear their existing stocks of K20 pro before launching K30 Pro
I am cosidering between the Google Pixel 4a (340€) vs the POCO F2 Pro (399€),
Which one do you guys think is the better choice?
wait for pixel 5 4a with 765 processor is uber trash

Now POCO F2 Pro is about 300,00€ in Italy. That is a so low price for these specs (Snapdragon 865), if there are two big lack:
1. no slot card at all and
2. no development due to the fact that the source code tree is partially hidden in order to block the development.
It seems like there's a collusion between the phone house to give a price to the possibility of development.
Actually google pixel it costs much more than the value of the money suggests for its specs.
Like "future development of the phone" must be paid by the costumers. That is my paranoia. :confuso:

Question Your thoughts about the poco x3 pro

Hey guys, what are your thoughts about this phone? I have bought one last week, my previously phone was a one plus 3t (quite old).
I think it was a nice upgrade, very snappy, câmera is good, and the price is on point.
I read about the screen being way worst comparing to the OLED, but i think is okay, colours and brightness wise.
I dont know how to feel about the MIUI interface since i come from oxygenOS, also phone is a bit on the heavy side and the back vibrates a lot when the volume is mid/high.
How has been your experiences?
Can anyone check the sensors on the X3 PRO?
F3 is here

Well, to be honest, I am dissapointed with the phone. I upgraded from Redmi Note 7 Pro and the only thing Poco has better is the performance and dual speakers. Everything is super smooth and snappy. The screen, besides having 120Hz refresh rate is no different than redmi notes' screen. And that is about it. Everything else is not even as good as on Redmi Note 7 Pro. The camera on my redmi note takes noticeably better pictures. The audio quality (in-call and media) is also noticeably better on my redmi note. Even though Poco has larger battery (5160 vs 4000 mAh) usage time is about the same. Plus, poco is a very thiccc phone... So, two years between phones and only the performance is an upgrade, everything else is basically a downgrade. I wish i bought Redmi Note 10 Pro, but that phone is almost 100 EUR more expensive here.

Yeah, the very notable difference for this phone is it's cheap price for it's spec.
For some people, 3.5mm jack together with microSD is better.
And something different from the Redmi Note 7 Pro that you didn't told is the UFS 3.1 internal storage. This makes read/write very fast. So for photos and games, it's faster. That's also the reason other than the SOC that makes it very smooth and snappy.
I had a Nokia 7 Plus for about two years before and the X3 Pro is a rocket by comparison. I also thought about getting the Note 10 Pro for a while, but the "bad" SoC put me off. OLED is of course nice to have, but without a real always-on display it is of little use in my opinion. In any case, I am more than satisfied with the X3 Pro in all respects. MIUI and all the bloatware is an evil abomination if you were only used to Vanilla Android before, but thanks to ADB you can fix a lot.
I switched from Moto G5 Plus and I find this phone much better in almost every aspect, except size
I don't care much about photo quality, they are good enough for me.
Screen seems to be dimmer than on my old Moto. Colors are ok, I like that it supports reading mode without relying on third party apps. I don't need smooth animations so 60Hz is enough for me.
Storage - I had to buy model with bigger storage as I need dual sim active all the time.
Audio quality on headphones (cable and BT) is very good.
Battery (after playing with location settings to stop drain) life is satisfying. Charging is super fast.
Performance - I don't play games that requires all that power so for every day use I find it outstanding.
Ocassionally I need to calibrate location (?) sensors in some apps, might need to find more permanent solution.
