Hi, I'm on 10.0.4 and only getting around 3.5 - 4 hours of screen on time per charge. I'm not excessively using any apps but have noticed a big decrease in how long the battery is lasting.
I can't pinpoint the issue in the couple of battery monitoring apps I've been using, anything else I can try?
Thanks!

I'm no expert, but I believe your culprit is Facebook...
... it takes quite a bit of power to constantly report back everything you're doing/saying/thinking to Zuckerberg's Mothership.

Yes of course. Life would be better without Facebook and consorts! However .....

One or a few of your apps is definitely draining your battery. I use the web version of Facebook, Instagram instead of the apps and I consistently get around 7 to 8 hours of screen on time on both of my 7 Pro's.
Here are a few key battery drainers that you should try disable:
Ambient Display
Double Tap to wake
See if those help with your battery life.

Sorry if it's a repeated thread, but I can't find nor understand what's causing the amount of warlocks on my phone. First I suspected from apps syncing so I tried disable it for an hour (turned wifi off too). Wake locks persisted. Even with a long time of screen of I'm still getting wake locks.

I have something like this but with this app com.Google.android.gsf when i click on it it said something about gtalk

Yours seems reasonable. Mine lets the phone awake for about 7 hours after a day. Battery would never reach one day with 64%. The main reason is the SyncLoopWakelock that I think that is related to Google account but I don't know any workaround to it.

At that time i used to have sync off on all counts

GSF stands for Google Service Frameworks, so I think there's nothing much to do.
Bad thing of turning off sync is that I'm unable to receive emails thru gmail app.
One of my massive drains comes from audio out 2. Sometimes it keeps the phone awake from nothing and won't stop. Any workaround for it?
Hi, everyone!
This is the 2° cycle of charge from 15% to 100% that my One does, and i want to know from you if this is a normal drain.
I use One with:
1) Auto Sync enable
2) Geo Localization enabled (only wi fi and mobile, not gps)

I see the Google battery drain going on. That's draining all of your battery and I have the same issue as well.

Looks pretty normal to me. 15% battery left with almost six hours screen time. You would easily get six hours screen time with 10% batter left.

It isn't normal. You're device has been kept awake the whole 11h in the first picture. If it is Google Play Services, try updating it or clearing the app's data (settings -> apps -> find GPS, click on it -> clear all data) and restart your phone.

I still think it needs work. Sometimes it becomes really sluggish because of the overlapping with the system UI.
It looks amazing, but it needs to add some features like adding the home button but hiding the softkeys from the Android UI, it needs to stop hovering on the main screen when you swipe through the apps, and needs an option to hide that annoying tab that causes the hovering.
It needs to be able to hide the Android apps we have installed by choosing the ones we want on the main screen.
This is basically Tizen OS but with annoying features.
I need Samsung to release a Tizen Launcher for Android.
I'll keep it installed and wait for further updates.
man its super slow and buggy for now..
Still didn't find how to make it work on my Note 4 Do you also have a white screen with just nothing happening ?

It feels extremely sluggish and buggy, but I'm impressed by the APK release of an OS. Small file, too; this looks pretty promising, given lots of future work
Is normal that Android System and Android OS use so much? I stayed on Facebook, I played NFS no limits, Twitter etc..

Yes, and no.
What FW are you using? what apps have you got running in the background, remember AndroidSystem, like it says ties into alot of other things running on the phone (included packages)
I am running official firmware from Samsung (Romania region) and the Android Security Patch is at 1 July 2016 . I never rooted or reinstalled the software. I have Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Hangouts, WhatsApp. These are my social and messaging apps.

After updating I had battery drain and reduced battery life, restarting the phone after every time I charge my phone fixed it for me. Just restart your phone after charging it to 100% and see if that will fix it.
Thank you. I will try this!

, so I went to AIDA64 and Kernel Auditor, and it shows as can you see
It shows 2000mah instead of 2910mah (even how AIDA64 says)
I tried with battery calibration and same problem, what is causing my problem? Do I need go to change the battery?
(The traduction of AIDA64 would be, Capacidad (informado por Android) = Capacity (Informed by Android)
Capacidad (desde base de datos) = Capacity (from Data base))

Hi,
I own 6045K and use stock rom. AIDA64 shows 2000mAh reported capacty on my device too.
But I don't seem to have battery life problem. My phone lasts a day on heavy usage ( listen steamed music on 4g for 4 hours a day, and 2 hours of screen time, play simple games, watch youtube, etc...) and that's fair enough for me.

The 2000mah is written in software like a safety measure. ( So don't happen like Samsung, Pfffff!) The 2910 can be the max capacity but is unsafe!
If you have high consumption check your apps, or maybe you spend to much time on Internet like Facebook, etc.
Hmm after calibrating I get now like 4:30 to 5 hours screen, is supposed to be like that or it should be more?
