Hi, everyone!
This is the 2° cycle of charge from 15% to 100% that my One does, and i want to know from you if this is a normal drain.
I use One with:
1) Auto Sync enable
2) Geo Localization enabled (only wi fi and mobile, not gps)

Not normal. Just got my hands on one. I suggest root and install better battery stats?
I see the Google battery drain going on. That's draining all of your battery and I have the same issue as well.

Looks pretty normal to me. 15% battery left with almost six hours screen time. You would easily get six hours screen time with 10% batter left.

It isn't normal. You're device has been kept awake the whole 11h in the first picture. If it is Google Play Services, try updating it or clearing the app's data (settings -> apps -> find GPS, click on it -> clear all data) and restart your phone.

Sorry if it's a repeated thread, but I can't find nor understand what's causing the amount of warlocks on my phone. First I suspected from apps syncing so I tried disable it for an hour (turned wifi off too). Wake locks persisted. Even with a long time of screen of I'm still getting wake locks.

I have something like this but with this app com.Google.android.gsf when i click on it it said something about gtalk

Yours seems reasonable. Mine lets the phone awake for about 7 hours after a day. Battery would never reach one day with 64%. The main reason is the SyncLoopWakelock that I think that is related to Google account but I don't know any workaround to it.

At that time i used to have sync off on all counts

GSF stands for Google Service Frameworks, so I think there's nothing much to do.
Bad thing of turning off sync is that I'm unable to receive emails thru gmail app.
One of my massive drains comes from audio out 2. Sometimes it keeps the phone awake from nothing and won't stop. Any workaround for it?

This firmware rolled out since almost three weeks now and only few users got it OTA at the very beginning; now it is available via Odin only. Any clue on this behavior?
Personally I'm waiting for the update because of:
- Poor signal strength / stability in both 3G and WiFi compared with N2 same carrier, same areas.
- E-mail stock app with very poor notification reliability
- E-mail stock app quit "pushing" since two days (I'm using Aqua-mail but I miss the HTML signature etc.)
Anybody with ITV MJ7 which experienced improvements for the above matters?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Flashed this morning. I'll update if I notice improvements.
Thank you GDT, did you flash OTA or via Odin?
Same problems here. Waiting for other experiences

Via Odin, it's a non wipe rom. It seems a little less laggish but seems like signal doesn't change for me. I can't test the mail thing because I use Gmail for my private (doh!) mail and my work mail runs on an old server with no push services so client only polls every x minutes, and this works but worked with mj1 too
Finally MJ7 update via OTA came yesterday: 117 Mb for the complete version and a small 1,1 Mb for who were already updated in early November. For the moment I can't say anything because not yet fully tested. I've noticed just the small detail, as previously, that when the device is disconnected from the power source @ 100% of charge, once turned on, it says already 98% battery.
Let's give it a couple of days for complete optimization.

The first 5-10% of a battery after charge always drops quickly, It will slow down afterwards. In my experience with phones that is how it always has been.
... not the same with my previous Note 2, it used to stay @ 100% for few minutes...
Not very much to be worried about anyway.

After some days of test I can say my point of view of this update:
- Signal strength sligtly improved
- Battery drain normal as before (Vodafone)
- Email Samsung app. still randomly not pushing and/or not notifying unbelievable

First screen with all the apps in your battery usage pls.
If you had calls before for 1 hour - then this dialer wakelock is normal :good:
No. In fact the call is not answered. Then I just close until I realise the battery drains. As I am not using the phone for that hour.

Was on stock one day before i flashed AOSP. Cant say much about it. Maybe a service was running in the background, something enabled in google sync about dialer? Look in settings if something is wrong.
i have been also getting that wake lock..
So I'm getting this aswell. Any solution? Using PA 4.1 Beta 2.
In my ex gorgeous Huawei Honor 7 i had the option to set a specific limit of data for each session so there wasn't any kind of risk if hungry devices were connected to my hotspot cause over a certain limit the Router WiFi connection drop off...
But with VERY STUPID Samsung S7 settings i can't setup any limit and yesterday i shared connection with my wife iPhone and in just 20 minutes il lost 500mb...
This is simply unacceptable and make the Samsung Router WiFi hotspot option very risky and simply unusable.
I'm very angry with so stupid Samsung developers and i'm asking you if there is a way to fix this problem?
[emoji35] [emoji35] [emoji35] [emoji35] I feel Samsung is by far the worst smartphone manufacturer in the planet...

You should blame your wifes iPhone it thinks it's on a normal Wi-Fi and uses al the data it needs . Limit is a Nice feature, but certanly not standard with tethering . Stop being a cheap ass and give the wife a decent data plan ?

What you mean?
She already has a plan with 5GB but not abroad.
I have 2GB roaming data cause for businness i travel a lot. With Huawei last time i set up a limit and i had no problem sharing my plan trought Router WiFi but this time i couldn't and in just 20min i lost 500mb...
So is not useful Router WiFi if i cannot place a limit is very very risky...Who know if something connecting to you do an automatic update?
Is something really basic...

Inviato dal mio SM-G930F utilizzando Tapatalk
User error not a fake setting, you just don't understand how it works
It limits the amount of data used that month
Once you hit your limit that month, it will disable data and reset on your specified date of your billing cycle
Not how much data you use in that single session
Hi, I'm on 10.0.4 and only getting around 3.5 - 4 hours of screen on time per charge. I'm not excessively using any apps but have noticed a big decrease in how long the battery is lasting.
I can't pinpoint the issue in the couple of battery monitoring apps I've been using, anything else I can try?
Thanks!

I'm no expert, but I believe your culprit is Facebook...

One or a few of your apps is definitely draining your battery. I use the web version of Facebook, Instagram instead of the apps and I consistently get around 7 to 8 hours of screen on time on both of my 7 Pro's.
Here are a few key battery drainers that you should try disable:
Ambient Display
Double Tap to wake
See if those help with your battery life.
