Video Recording - Two Files Saved? - Google Pixel 3a Questions & Answers

I recorded someone giving a speech that lasted 30 minutes. I went to my gallery to check it out and noticed it saved as two files, 15 minutes each. Is there a setting I'm missing or doing something wrong that won't allow the 3A to save the video as one file?

This is a limitation in Android and looks like it will be fixed in Android 11 according to this article: https://www.xda-developers.com/android-11-unlimited-video-recording-file-size/amp/
Since the first Android 11 preview is already out, maybe someone could already verify this.

Netflix...Any testers?

Can anyone with a Netflix account test to see if either build.prop change will work for us?
Don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but I didn't see it in the Netflix thread...
Edit: It seems a couple people in the Reddit comments claim it doesn't work for the T-Bolt but I would like to get a bigger sample size. Plus I think I trust you guys to get it right a little more...

I've already attempted the build.prop edits with two different NetFlix apk's (com.netflix.mediaclient-1.apk and com.netflix.mediaclient-2.apk) neither one worked on Thunderbolt. Other phones are having success.
Its already been tested. Someone changed the build.prop to match a G2 and it played the sound for about 5 seconds then crapped out with no video.
Thunderbolt is not a "incompatible" device, so these changes are not needed.
Our issue something to do with stagefright (from what I understood from slayher)
Has anyone attempted this on a GB Bolt?
I tried build.prop change and it didn't work on my TB. It starts to play and after one second it goes back to Netflix menu.
I had two different errors. A different error from each of the apk's I tried. The first would begin to play the movie (no video but a second of sound would play) and then back to the list of movies and a DRM notification. The second would not even begin to play the movie but would pop up with an error that it could not connect to NetFlix and that my device was not supported. I tried both apk's after editing my build.prop
now that i think of it, netflix would want more devices supported.... don't you think if they figured out how to put it on the thunderbolt they would? Its better for them, and for us.
I'm pretty sure that XDA can some how get it to work eventually, but hopefully netflix doesn't take too long to support more devices....

I had not visited to xda forum for long time cuz develop this app for improving uncomfortable options and increase depth and out of focus distance. So sorry for that.:crying:
Now 2.19.4 standard and pro version is in playstore and apkpure.com(standard only).
I'm sorry I have not posted sooner, I have been out of town. Thank you again for the opportunity to test this camera with you.
Phones: LG G6 LG-LS993 (Sprint) Android Oreo 8.0, Everything Stock, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900P (Unlocked - Formerly Sprint), Rooted Android 7.1.2 AOKP Mod ROM
I haven't been able to much with it on the Note 3, except to say that it works. I'm currently dealing with an SD Card issue.
LG G6: I am on version 2.20.4 (237) of the app. Google Play does not give me the option to update. It also does not show up on my list of installed apps on the Play website. If you I go to the app page on Play, it does show it as installed, but only gives the options of "Open" or "Uninstall".
First let me say, the zoom is incredible. Wow it will really get up close. The amount of background blur you can get is almost unreal, or you can get very little. Very versatile in that.
First Image, 3 items are almost touching. Second, they are about 3 inches apart. Third, about 10 inches apart. Fourth is to show you how much you can change the depth of field back...about 12 inches apart.
There have been crashes, for example any time I run the Logic setting above 35 it crashes on the LG G6 but not on the Note 3, but they are few and far between. I've purposefully left my LG almost maxed out on space just to see how far I can push it. With less that 2gb of space on the phone, 166 User Apps installed, running Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, Messenger at the same time, it still performs almost all of the time.
Focus is a bit tricky for me. I'll click on what I want to focus, sometimes it will move right to that focus point, sometimes i have to press several times or hold my finger in place for a second before it moves to that point...once in awhile it never does.
The only other issue I am having I believe are more an issue of not knowing how to use all of the functions, and not much being in the settings menu. I've tried all of the various "Image Save Resolution" settings (and there are a lot) but it will never save a file larger than 960 x 720, and I think that is why I'm having a "fuzziness" issue. Its hard to explain, but I am attaching a few images to demonstrate. It's almost like it's tried to denoise the image, but the settings are off, if that makes sense. And like I said, it may come from the "save" issue I'm having.
Other than that, I've truly enjoyed trying to learn the camera. A bit of a tutorial on how to run the settings would go a long way in helping me really get some better photos so you can tweak anything that needs fixing. In the future, I would like to see maybe a manual focus slider to go along with the focus depth slider, auto rotation, and maybe RAW image added to the save format. All of the images I'm posting are unedited, they were ran through photoshop simply to rotate them the correct way since the app doesn't (or I haven't found how) and then uploaded straight to Imgur - which I'm still learning to use, please forgive me. Also, I have a photoshoot scheduled this weekend, so I will be taking a few extra lenses with me so I can get some shots for side by side comparison with the big cameras. I'll be using Canon 5dMKII full frame with various "L" and regular lenses.
Sorry for update fail.
I think your google account has some problem.
So I have set app price as 1 dollar in temporary as special event. Do save the chance for you.
Now 3.10.1 pro version shows up amazing depth of defocusing.

It immediately updated to .1 early early this morning when I did it, and has now updated to .2 Thank you for all your help in that. Just in time for my weekend photoshoot in the city.
Thanks. I hope you will capture great pictures.
Just reply to me if you have trouble with app. I will fix and update soon.

Zattoo Android App - 4h Limit

Hi!
I would like to use Zattoo to run TV via FireTV Stick in background. Zattoo will run 8 hours a day.
The problem is that after 4 hours a message comes up "We've stopped the stream due to inactivity, please confirm to tune N-TV again.?"
Does anyone have any idea how to avoid this message? I have already decompiled the. apk file and found entries that point to the message. But I couldn't get a complete deactivation yet...
What i found out with decompiled .apk:
The stringname is: sleep_dialog_recover_message (Found in \res\values-de)
ID= 0x7f090294
Any ideas how to disable this annoying message?
Thanks in advance!

Urnyx05's GCam port: Green Hue issue

Hi @Urnyx05
First of all, thank you and to all the involved devs for sharing your vast knowledge and work on making ports of the Google Camera app.
On my particular device, I ran into an issue where the output file of image capture is strongly hued green. This occurs even after a phone restart, reinstallation, and an app data clear. Video capturing seems unaffected and the live preview is normal.
Sorry as it is my first time getting a Camera2 Test, but I don't have a clue which option to capture, so I captured the first dropdown item I saw. Also, all links are from Google Drive, sorry. Also, since I'm a new user, I can't put any links. Sorry for that.

MXShare doesn't show any files???

MXShare simply doesn't show any videos/images or sounds!
Only 4 sounds and its the ringtone ones for some reason.
How does this feature works?
I can't share a single video from my library...
Same issue, gather its an Android 11 issue for me though...
pretty sure the issue is come along with android 11, using pixel 3a and just update to android 11, the file list gone right away
