Zattoo Android App - 4h Limit - General Questions and Answers

Hi!
I would like to use Zattoo to run TV via FireTV Stick in background. Zattoo will run 8 hours a day.
The problem is that after 4 hours a message comes up "We've stopped the stream due to inactivity, please confirm to tune N-TV again.?"
Does anyone have any idea how to avoid this message? I have already decompiled the. apk file and found entries that point to the message. But I couldn't get a complete deactivation yet...
What i found out with decompiled .apk:
The stringname is: sleep_dialog_recover_message (Found in \res\values-de)
ID= 0x7f090294
Any ideas how to disable this annoying message?
Thanks in advance!

Video Recording - Two Files Saved?

I recorded someone giving a speech that lasted 30 minutes. I went to my gallery to check it out and noticed it saved as two files, 15 minutes each. Is there a setting I'm missing or doing something wrong that won't allow the 3A to save the video as one file?
This is a limitation in Android and looks like it will be fixed in Android 11 according to this article: https://www.xda-developers.com/android-11-unlimited-video-recording-file-size/amp/
Since the first Android 11 preview is already out, maybe someone could already verify this.

Question Joying / Isudar - Annoying application autostart [Resolved]

Hello everyone.
I'm writing a new thread because I couldn't find answers in the specific device threads, and the problem is with two different ones.
I own two devices - a Joying Intel Airmont SC9853I and an Isudar QLED UIS7862.
I have a strange problem on both devices, which is that applications automatically start up when the device is rebooted or woken up.
At the moment the problem is with Youtube or Spotify and system settings.
On the Joying device, Youtube starts up every time.
I have to close Youtube to continue using the device.
On the Isudar device, the settings app starts by itself.
Interestingly the settings open right away in the Fabric section.
Normally Fabric section requires 123456 code to access it. After the settings app starts up by itself, it doesn't ask for the passcode.
If I enter any other settings section and return to Fabric the app already asks for the passcode.
It wasn't that way from the beginning. It happened on its own over time.
Maybe I set something by accident but I have no idea what.
I think I already read the whole Internet looking for a solution but unfortunately I did not find one
In the case of Isudar restoring factory settings did not help.
Please help me because I am out of ideas.
Thank you in advance.
--- Edit ---
To all who have had/have the same problem.
The reason for the confusion was a flash drive with music on it.
After disconnecting it, the settings application stopped launching itself. Perhaps it will be similar with Youtube. I have not checked that yet.
Most (if not all) FYT try to open the last used media app. In my case when i last had Spotify, Youtube, DAB-Z or PowerAmp playing, it will open the last one again. I've read something about that here and did a little "app exploring" using APK Editor Studio and found a file listing media apps. So if the system has one of these apps running and it is listed as a media app to the device, it will try to open it up again when you start your car the next time.
It is trying to mimic your OEM radio that remembered if you had radio playing, CD, AUX or whatever and return to that same state.

Do you mean the "player_app.txt" inside the "assets/property" folder inside the com.syu.ms apk?

This can also be disabled by setting a property
Code:
ro.build.go_lasttop=false
I found that on a site by @gordgelin.
I have the extended ms apk for the uis7862 already created, but not tested (as I still didn't receive my uis7862). It contains a whole lot more media players than the standard one for those who want to mimic the standard autoradio behaviour. But I also want to share it with the "do not play last media player" patch which I actually "stole" from @gordgelin. (But I also saw many of my findings, mods, apks on 4pda, so I do not feel guilty). I only want to give credit to whom deserves the credit.

I had the same issue , the reason is exposted cfg files on the usb , once the system starts and detects cfg on an usb , it launches factory settings . so the solution is (remove exported cfg files from the usb )

Installing app failed

Greetings everybody.
I will start by saying i was never into android modding because i never had any needs so far, neither i have knowledge, it would be time wasting to teach myself a lot for just problem with 1 app since my work does not need that knowledge(well until now ).
So, theres an intercom device branded Hikvision which is a indoor station android tablet running on 5.1.
The front gui is apk launcher which im trying to make it work on 3rd party tablets/phones, since that tablet is overpriced for hardware it have. Luckily that launcher allows me to install 2 apks as they say, "You could install apps for smart home assistant". Instantly i installed Show Hidden Settings and changed launcher to android 5.1. Then i extraxted IndoorDevice apk with apk extractor.
When i try to install on any other android device i get error.
INSTALL_FAILED_SHARED_USER_INCOMPATIBLE. I stumbled across few posts where there is a procedure with apktool.jar and Signapk.jar but i dont know how to use them.
Anyone bored enough to try that on apk that will be on next link? I will pay few beers over paypal.
Indoor Station APK
Kind regards

Question How to avoid Battery-Optimization for custom APK's

Hi everybody,
i'm a java dev and build a small apk for my own. It's basicly using okhttp framework to do frequently (all 30 sec) rest calls against my server to fetch a small json, just like a monitoring app. If theres any json result that are important for me , it makes a simple notification with a foreground service that using a scheduler for the next request. It works perfectly with my GW4 as i bought it, after an firmware update it started to suxx because of battery optimization and some other crap and trash that google/samsung imported. After the watch goes into doze/standby the request are not frequent anymore ... sometimes 10 minutes , sometimes even more than 2 hours and thats not the reason why i bought this watch. I bought this watch only for my custom app because it's necessary for my job.
Is there any possible workaround/hack or something else i can do to dowgrade the firmware or getting root or is there any other soloution for this problem to keep battery optimization out of my apk ? I already tried to add my package to whitelist and other shell tricks but nothing worked.
I also tried another watch model (Fossil gen6) but there is still the same problem. Are other watches like huawei had the same issues ? i heard that huawei build its own os based on java could it work there ?
Hope anyone can help.
