Bug reporting:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Sounds good but LOS 16 has GPS with high accuracy, also, but the euro/china sats are broken on the phone. So, could you better explain if this ROM is broken, also? (hence, does gps test show ALL sats being received?)
Looks nice, after Saftynet Fix i will giv it a try
get an error in twrp when i want flash gapps : error 20

Thank you!
Is signature spoofing enabled?
Nice! I wonder how AOD burn in prevent work?, Does it shift the clock position dynamically like MIUI?
Thanks everybody for your questions! More updates coming soon.

I havent tested yet, but I see a QS tile for swapping SIM. So I assume if it doesn't work now, it will soon.

I haven't tested it yet. If we don't like it, I can remove the feature. Let me know.
Thanks for the build! Everything running pretty great!
Having a Bluetooth audio issue (had similar issue on other Android 10 AOSP builds) where audio freezes or hiccups when you wake the screen.
Not sure if it would be an easy fix or not, but figured I'd mention. Anyways, really enjoying the ROM as-is. Ty!

Might need you to define what needs to be done to enable high accuracy GPS in the way that works - I enabled the QS tile and it says high accuracy, and in Google Maps, it seems to get my location perfectly when I'm just looking at the map but as soon as I start navigation it loses lock and just stays put til I cancel navigation again.

Bit of a bug to report. Turned the screen on when it was locked, and it went straight to the notifications floating in the middle of the screen, with regular screen content in the background. Couldn't close the notification shade, and trying to do anything gave a password prompt I couldn't type into. Fingerprint wouldn't work, had to reboot. Very strange. I'm not using any UI mods aside from the built in dark mode.
Excellent work :good:
I am enjoying this ROM as my daily driver. Snappy and smooth.
Just a minor bug report though: Living in a "Celisius area" and having set country to "Germany" the lockscreen and the ambient display is still showing "Fahrenheit" instead of "Celcius" for the temperature. I haven't found a way to change that accordingly.

WARNING: This has been tested ONLY on XT1032. It will work on GPE and XT1034, however XT1033 (dual-sim) is buggy and it will NOT work on CDMA
Thanks to @premaca and @mbj731 for testing and reporting other variants
AOD's premise is (and I quote):
AndroidOpenDevelopment is meant to be an AOSP/CAF base with hardware support for various OEM chipsets such as QCOM OMAP Tegra, etc, without any additional feature support.
It is hoped that various community ROMs will submit patches from upstream sources for basic hardware support eliminating the need for each ROM to do all the extra work, thereby bringing COMMUNITY back to android

When I stumbled upon this rom I couldn't have felt happier: It was basically out of the box AOSP/CAF but perfectly compatible with our device (well, I did change some things for compatibility but it was pretty much done!). So, after build was done and I flashed it on my xt1032, I got even another surprise: it was smooth. Really, really smooth. So I decided to start using it and maybe start making my own changes, making the rom I would like to use everyday. Obviously, there are still TODOs, but it is now in a very nice state so I wanted to share it with you guys, see what you think. Find out by yourself ^^
I Just installed on XT1033, and is working out of the box. I was on stock 5.0.2 and with twrp 2.8.5.0, installed successfully without any errors and boot was quick too, surprisingly.
Will test for couple minutes and post screen shots. XT1033 users can flash this ROM without any doubt, and great thanks to @anerik for another wonderful ROM. (PS: I have only one SIM currently though, nevertheless the other SIM with cross-icon is showing)
Fantastic stuff! I'll be adding bionic optimizations soon for even better performance.

OrionLP is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and is packed with a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. Needless to say, this project is a product of our hobbies and the love we bore for Android.

This is excellent, especially for a blind build...I had a few issues [not major] and will post them tomorrow also with logcats...
Thanks again...
I've noticed a few very minor things as well, but overall, this is an excellent ROM, exceptional even on the basis of it being an initial release and blind build. I'll share more specific details and any pertinent logs/feedback after I've had more time to use the ROM. Good.
Okay... Been playing with Orion for a bit now... Few small things, including viper was a nice touch, but is somewhat pointless without having either the ability toggle SElinux permissive built into the ROM/kernel, or having an su.d script to run v4a in an SElinux permissive group, or having an init. D script to boot into SElinux permissive. As is, v4a driver status will be abnormal due to it being blocked by SElinux enforcing. Obviously, a quick terminal command can switch to SElinux permissive to run viper correctly, but that isn't an ideal solution.
Perhaps this can be added?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=61242973
Also, I was prompted for an OTA update, but clicking the link to download Orion LP in the Orion OTA screen redirects to the developer's access screen on AFH instead of the users download area... The prompt for the update is in error as well, as the ROM .zip I originally downloaded and flashed was dated 8-24, Basically, it prompts for an OTA to the same version I have installed, possibly because the build date for the 8-24 .zip is 8-23... Switched OTA check off. Otherwise, nothing else to report. Nice ROM.

I got around the viper issue by using a bypass-pie patch [obviously not a permanent solution]...I checked your link and DL'd the fix. Will give it a spin later...
Can confirm the issues you highlighted [I thought maybe the ota thing was a date mismatch in build-prop]...anyway no other problems, I really like this ROM, fine work.
Cheers...

Nice ROM.

Yes I think I forgot to delete build.prop before building so it's a date mismatch will fix when I get home and I'll talk to the team about the viper/selinux fix
SHABBYLEA said:
I got around the viper issue by using a bypass-pie patch [obviously not a permanent solution]...I checked your link and DL'd the fix. Will give it a spin later...
Can confirm the issues you highlighted [I thought maybe the ota thing was a date mismatch in build-prop]...anyway no other problems, I really like this ROM, fine work.
Cheers...

Yeah, it's in the build. prop. The information in any "about phone" or "about tablet" screen is gathered and displayed from the get.prop command, which queries lines in the build. prop.

it shouldn't do that, i use it daily and no issues at all. Can you give a logcat about it and i will take a look. Thanks =)
Are banking apps working out of the box? When i was using Syberia, they didnt. And now i use pixys os and they work, with a warning that my phone is rooted but works. On the syberia it just insta crash.
Does this rom has similar problem like syberia? I would love to give it a try,i love the pixel look and feel, plus it has the OTA feature <3 thanks

Hey, haven't been here for a while. Does pin code already works in recovery for A11 or I should still use pattern unlock?

Sorry I have already switched roms, however I can tell you it only happens with car bluetooths. Speakers and bluetooth earbuds have no such issue, but connect to a car bluetooth and this problem happens. Happened on 3 different cars from different brands and years. Hopefully that helps

Just flashed it directly over PixysOS I was testing for a week.
Installed perfect.
Now, my question to OP is about to know what is the version to stick to and follow in its catalog...lol
Anyway Thanks for its work and sharing.

Trying Pixelish for the first time. It seems rock-solid. A bug though: OK Google hotword detection doesn't work.
is this rom compatible with voLte calls?
Another bug: night light acts funny, and it's far too intense at the lowest level.
And... Battery usage is pretty high. Waiting a couple of days to see if it stabilizes.
Great achievement!
This rom made my phone turn back to L1 wideline that was lost long ago and cherry on the cake CTS TESTS pass 100% WITHOUT Magisk trick installed.
A huge success.
Thanks DEV for the job done.

Sounds good!
I don't really watch content on my phone and I'm not sure what's CTS tests.
I'm mainly looking for Android 11, some basic customizations, and very smooth experience.

For me this rom is good to go.
I've tested Gcam with no issue. But MICam is taking shoots well but close without saving them. Anyway embedded GOCamera is enough for many daily usage.
It is better to stay with battery saver ON (AOD big consumer is switched off) in order to reach 2 days of battery. Much better than MIUI12 I am coming from..

This is Candy 11 for the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Built straight from source with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS. We wanted to give the users a fast, fun, fully customisable ROM, with regular updates and security patches.
We do this as a hobby, and we happily share with with the custom ROM community, for free. We use what we share on our own devices, most as Daily Drivers, so you can be confident that problems will be promptly addressed.
Thanks for your support and camaraderie. Special thanks to GZOSP, GZR-ROMs, LineageOS, SlimRoms, OmniROM, AOSiP, DU and the innumerable rest who make their source open. We can't do all of this on our own!

If you have any other issue, please let us know in proper bug reporting fashion as indicated below.
Do NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed other third-party mods.
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved (and you won't be trolled or ignored XD ). Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Hello, I have clean flashed and tested for several hours, smooth and with many quick setting tiles.
the build-in com.android.camera2 with HDR should providing better pictures than these ROMs which have GCAM Go by default.
Over all a good ROM, Thank you!
Yet there may have some small issues:
1. After enabled the dark theme, the app drawer's background is white.(Clean flash, default settings, no apps/kernel installed)
2. The battery's percentage number is inside the icon, which makes it very difficult to be read.
Is it possible to add a "battery charging control/smart charging" feature to the CandyShop?
(This feature is for these would like to charging the phone over the night, and keeps the battery to a good enough level, like charging to 85% and stops the charging to keep the battery healthy. For now it seems only the Rom of OctaviOS, Sakura could providing this very useful feature.)
PS: OS ver: Candy-violet-11.0-OFFICIAL-20210329-1658.zip
Have a nice day!

Thank you for your quick reply, already made sure that my device was on the latest build(29.03.2021). Snaps and logs have been send to you via the conversation.
Edit: One other issue, when lower the brightness to the lowest, the screen flicker a lot, tested with other Roms and seems only Sakura and Candy have this issue.
Edit2: ADB was always on after a reboot. (The setting won't persist)
Edit3: There is double tap to wake, but without double tap to sleep on lock screen and status bar.

I'm not really a fan of many of the design changes.
The wallpaper and clock background look rather unattractive. Wifi has been renamed to "internet", a lot of buttons which are square are now rounded and a lot of rounded are now square - which are a little out of place.

Well it should in future, since we are on Beta stage there is no point in OTA .
Rom is really smooth, just two things for now, pls fix setenforce 1 feature for selinux enforcing, coz when I run the cmd to change it from permissive to enforcing it freezes and I have to restart it and the next thing is pls add a dedicated wifi toggle. Rest everything is great, great performance
One more thing I have tried 2-3 roms based on Android 12 including yours, performance and geekbench scores are good than others, but one thing that I noticed is the dark theme is not pure black. One feature that I need is the pure dark mode that shows only the whites and turn the pixels off for the blacks, just like the original MIUI dark theme. This is the main advantage of an AMOLED screen, it saves battery when the blacks are turned off
Few more bugs,
1. Google camera isn't working
2. Geekbench 5 cpu test runs fine but compute test stops unexpectedly in the middle of the test and the app closes
3. Lock screen rotates in all directions, pls fix it

3rd issue is fixed.
2nd issue, first of all its initial a12 , so dont expect every app to run as in like a11.
1. Not every google camera works with a12, try different combinations.
Selinux cant be switched to enforcing that easily. Each rule has to be addressed. So be patient
