This is Candy 11 for the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Built straight from source with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS. We wanted to give the users a fast, fun, fully customisable ROM, with regular updates and security patches.
We do this as a hobby, and we happily share with with the custom ROM community, for free. We use what we share on our own devices, most as Daily Drivers, so you can be confident that problems will be promptly addressed.
Thanks for your support and camaraderie. Special thanks to GZOSP, GZR-ROMs, LineageOS, SlimRoms, OmniROM, AOSiP, DU and the innumerable rest who make their source open. We can't do all of this on our own!
Stay tuned for more Candy!
Special thanks to GZOSP (Martin Coulon RIP), LineageOS, SlimRoms, OmniROM, AOSiP and all the rest who make their source open. We can't do all of this on our own.

If you have any other issue, please let us know in proper bug reporting fashion as indicated below.
Do NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed other third-party mods.
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved (and you won't be trolled or ignored XD ). Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.
Code:

Gapps version (if applicable)
Did you--

Are you using--
a task killer:
a non-stock kernel:
other modifications:
Provide any additional information (observations/frequency of problem/last version it worked on/etc) as needed.
Also please let us know how to reproduce the particular issue.
Please, DO NOT complain about problems and offer nothing to help fix it. We reserve the right to ignore you for not following instructions.

Hello, I have clean flashed and tested for several hours, smooth and with many quick setting tiles.
the build-in com.android.camera2 with HDR should providing better pictures than these ROMs which have GCAM Go by default.
Over all a good ROM, Thank you!
Yet there may have some small issues:
1. After enabled the dark theme, the app drawer's background is white.(Clean flash, default settings, no apps/kernel installed)
2. The battery's percentage number is inside the icon, which makes it very difficult to be read.
Is it possible to add a "battery charging control/smart charging" feature to the CandyShop?
(This feature is for these would like to charging the phone over the night, and keeps the battery to a good enough level, like charging to 85% and stops the charging to keep the battery healthy. For now it seems only the Rom of OctaviOS, Sakura could providing this very useful feature.)
PS: OS ver: Candy-violet-11.0-OFFICIAL-20210329-1658.zip
Have a nice day!

Dark theme on app drawer working fine. Check that you are on latest build(29.03.2021). Battery icon options will come soon. Smart battery I have tested on candy test build but didn't seem to work. If it works than I will add it

Thank you for your quick reply, already made sure that my device was on the latest build(29.03.2021). Snaps and logs have been send to you via the conversation.
Edit: One other issue, when lower the brightness to the lowest, the screen flicker a lot, tested with other Roms and seems only Sakura and Candy have this issue.
Edit2: ADB was always on after a reboot. (The setting won't persist)
Edit3: There is double tap to wake, but without double tap to sleep on lock screen and status bar.

OrionLP is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and is packed with a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. Needless to say, this project is a product of our hobbies and the love we bore for Android.

This is excellent, especially for a blind build...I had a few issues [not major] and will post them tomorrow also with logcats...
Thanks again...
I've noticed a few very minor things as well, but overall, this is an excellent ROM, exceptional even on the basis of it being an initial release and blind build. I'll share more specific details and any pertinent logs/feedback after I've had more time to use the ROM. Good.
Okay... Been playing with Orion for a bit now... Few small things, including viper was a nice touch, but is somewhat pointless without having either the ability toggle SElinux permissive built into the ROM/kernel, or having an su.d script to run v4a in an SElinux permissive group, or having an init. D script to boot into SElinux permissive. As is, v4a driver status will be abnormal due to it being blocked by SElinux enforcing. Obviously, a quick terminal command can switch to SElinux permissive to run viper correctly, but that isn't an ideal solution.
Perhaps this can be added?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=61242973
Also, I was prompted for an OTA update, but clicking the link to download Orion LP in the Orion OTA screen redirects to the developer's access screen on AFH instead of the users download area... The prompt for the update is in error as well, as the ROM .zip I originally downloaded and flashed was dated 8-24, Basically, it prompts for an OTA to the same version I have installed, possibly because the build date for the 8-24 .zip is 8-23... Switched OTA check off. Otherwise, nothing else to report. Nice ROM.

I got around the viper issue by using a bypass-pie patch [obviously not a permanent solution]...I checked your link and DL'd the fix. Will give it a spin later...
Can confirm the issues you highlighted [I thought maybe the ota thing was a date mismatch in build-prop]...anyway no other problems, I really like this ROM, fine work.
Cheers...
Running great here! Thank you!

Nice ROM.

Yes I think I forgot to delete build.prop before building so it's a date mismatch will fix when I get home and I'll talk to the team about the viper/selinux fix

Cheers...

Yeah, it's in the build. prop. The information in any "about phone" or "about tablet" screen is gathered and displayed from the get.prop command, which queries lines in the build. prop.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!
Note: I have been creating these unofficial builds for a while now, but they have only been posted on Google Plus in the past. Updates should come weekly in most cases, though of course this is not always possible. Expect new builds on Sunday (usually).

Are you coming from a ROM with Layers?
Make sure you remove your 'overlay' folders and perform a FULL WIPE
My battery stats are all messed and reporting the wrong percentage, what can I do?
Stop using another kernel. Do a FULL WIPE and flash the ROM again
Is this ROM CM based or AOSP based?
This ROM is based off AOSP
Does this ROM have layers or the CMTE?
This ROM uses the CM theme engine
Pulse doesn't work with [insert music app]
Check this thread out https://plus.google.com/101146731143...ts/TcSzc61xuVx
I'm getting a FC from the theme chooser, what gives?
This is due to restoring data/apps from Google. Go ahead and clear data and cache for theme chooser and theme provider then reboot you should be good moving forward.
I changed my LCD density and now the navbar looks weird, what gives?
This is currenly an issue that we are aware of and addressing. For now after you changed density reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

Secured lock screen bouncer does not behave correctly.
It works with missed calls as intended which would show the missed call notification on lock screen but other than that it would not behave correctly on any other notifications such as text messages

On lock screen config there is a bouncer setting (which is only there ifyou have a secured lock screen) that lets you bypass the lock screen and go straight to the pattern unlock if there is no notifications pending. It's a great feature but it only works on missed calls. It would not work on messaging or any other notifications.
Anotherwords, if you have this feature on and get a text message, when you turn on the display instead of showing you the text message notification on lock screen, it would take you straight to pattern unlock screen, meaning you have no notifications.

I was on RR and it was fairly smooth and had good battery life. It had problems with wifi, bluetooth and telephone calls. I've been on Unicorn for a day and I really like it so far; battery isn't great but need to tweak my settings to get better life.
Awesome ROM finely we got Du Thanku so much work like a batter

Added to OP. It's very similar to RR in terms of options but they have their own launcher (never used it though). This has stock Lineage apps instead of some of the crDroid versions for now. I'm still looking into how to integrate those packages.
I had no sound when receiving call, pressed a few buttons and it worked, could of pressed something with my cheek ?
Great job Gavin!
Thanks for another oreo to the family.

Yeah, definitely...
A great one. Lots of optimizations, no black screen when receiving a call(without a fix or other dialer), and TSF launcher works(although an unnecessary info). Thanks Gavin.

No problem. Glad to hear it. I used it for a long time on my old Nexus 6 instead of RR. I think the logo is awful but the ROM is great (99% similar to Resurrection Remix to be honest) but I find it to be a bit quicker. I've taken about 6 calls and not once got a black screen (stock dialer).
For RR users, the black theme (not dark) is missing, as is the blur option but dynamic nav bar colour works (nav bar background colour matches app's main colour, e.g nav bar background colour is green in WhatsApp), and the battery icon is also removable (@Super_SU01).

Yes, very similar to RR,. I've also used it on my Lg g3 years ago, was my favourite.
I don't use stock themes, substratum is on. And using the Perfect color bar module for both statusbar(flat color, matching with the app's headers) and nav bar(Im getting used to it).
Off topic; do you consider compiling a custom kernel? Options on a kernel like enable/disable touch boost(to input custom values per cpu), cpu hotplug etc? Tried the hot plug on Pepsy kernel, seemed like helping on battery saving. Just curiosity..

If I had to pick one of crDroid/RR/AICP to use I would definitely go for crDroid. Can't say why exactly, but it just feels smoother.
I'll probably put an update out tomorrow so it's at least using the latest security patches.

Update - 11/3
- Various dark theme fixes
- Use crDroid file manager instead of Lineage version
- APKs can now be installed from file managers other than stock
- Update to March security patch
- Proximity fixes held back due to instability/unreliability
- Experimental workaround for Expanded Desktop bug - Toggling ED from the quick settings/smartbar will automatically exclude the launcher. The reason being that ED (nav or nav+status bars) causes a variety of issues (battery drain, phone won't deep sleep, slow unlock, slow/no wake with power button/FP/double-tap, lock screen sometimes skipped entirely)

Bug reporting:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

If you have Mi Logo issues, try flashing Xiaomi.EU prior to starting the installation proccess.

Congrats!!!!
Sounds good but LOS 16 has GPS with high accuracy, also, but the euro/china sats are broken on the phone. So, could you better explain if this ROM is broken, also? (hence, does gps test show ALL sats being received?)

I haven't tested it yet. If we don't like it, I can remove the feature. Let me know.
Thanks for the build! Everything running pretty great!
Having a Bluetooth audio issue (had similar issue on other Android 10 AOSP builds) where audio freezes or hiccups when you wake the screen.
Not sure if it would be an easy fix or not, but figured I'd mention. Anyways, really enjoying the ROM as-is. Ty!

Thanks , yeah at least for now.
New build uploading now...
Might need you to define what needs to be done to enable high accuracy GPS in the way that works - I enabled the QS tile and it says high accuracy, and in Google Maps, it seems to get my location perfectly when I'm just looking at the map but as soon as I start navigation it loses lock and just stays put til I cancel navigation again.

Yea, that is the issue, it doesn't track you, there is no fix yet.

Bit of a bug to report. Turned the screen on when it was locked, and it went straight to the notifications floating in the middle of the screen, with regular screen content in the background. Couldn't close the notification shade, and trying to do anything gave a password prompt I couldn't type into. Fingerprint wouldn't work, had to reboot. Very strange. I'm not using any UI mods aside from the built in dark mode.
Excellent work :good:
I am enjoying this ROM as my daily driver. Snappy and smooth.
Just a minor bug report though: Living in a "Celisius area" and having set country to "Germany" the lockscreen and the ambient display is still showing "Fahrenheit" instead of "Celcius" for the temperature. I haven't found a way to change that accordingly.
