Hello! I'm a little bit new here.
I'm trying to backup my TA before I unlock the bootloader and root my phone. I'm following this guide and I'm currently stuck on the downgrading part as I couldn't find a FTF file for my Z5 Dual (E6633). I did search around and found this but when I opened up Flashtool and looked at the firmwares, it was listed as E6653. I don't want to risk bricking my phone, so I'm posting this to ask for help and clarity. Should I downgrade just to backup my TA files? Do you guys have a legit FTF file of 32.0.A.6.152 for E6633? Thanks.

EDIT:
After searching around and confirming that the Universal TA Backup v2 works on 6.0.1 (Marshmellow) which the E6633 has a version for, I started to downgrade from there. Long story short, I succeeded in backing up my TA!
Here's a how-to step-by-step of what I did if ever you have the same device as me. Sony Xperia Z5 Dual (E6633)
Requirements:
- Flashtool
- Z5 Drivers
- Any E6633 firmware up to 6.0.1 (I used this)
- Universal (Dirtycow-based) TA Backup v2
1. Place the firmware you downloaded at ..\.flashTool\firmwares. This is usually located at %userprofile%.
2. Open Flashtool. Let it do its thing if you ran it the first time.
3. Plug in your device. Flashtool should detect your device.
4. Click the lightning () icon. Leave it at flashmode, and press OK.
5. Select the firmware you've downloaded. If you downloaded what I used, select Central Europe 1 Generic > 32.1.A.1.185_R6C.
6. Tick all the options in Wipe Sin. Do not tick any other boxes in Wipe Misc TA, Exclude Sin & Misc TA.
7. Flash. Follow the instructions of what Flashtool tells you to do.
8. Setup your device.
9. Enable developer settings.
10. Turn on USB Debugging.
11. (Extract backupTA_v2.zip if you haven't before) Run backupTA.cmd.
12. If prompted by the device, allow USB debugging.
13. backupTA_v2 will tell you it's successful. To double-check, your TA.img should be approximately 2MB or 2,048KB.

Hi bro, i just wanna help those people who want to root their phone without downgrading. It tested, and work on my Miro on stock firmware 11.0.A.5.5 Okay, all you need is :
1. UnlockRoot (You can download it here)
2. Xperia Miro / Xperia Device (I think this guide will work for most 2011/2012 xperia devices)
3. PdaNet (Needed for Xperia driver. Download here)
ROOTING YOUR DEVICE MAY VOID YOUR WARRANTY!
The steps is :
1. go to your setting phone, and check the USB Debugging in Developers section
2. still at the setting, go to application section, and check the Unknown Source
3. Download the UnlockRoot software, and extract it.
4. Download the PdaNet, and install it. If PdaNet asked the device, select other. If you got this message, then click Install Anyway

5. If needed, restart your PC/laptop. (If you are in win7/win8, when you are in boot, push the F8 button, and then select Disable Driver Signature. And then install the PdaNet)
6. After restarting your PC, then plug your phone on.
7. Run the UnlockRoot software, and click root!
8. Cheers! Your phone is rooted, check your phone if there is a SuperSU app. If there is SuperSU app, you're successfully rooting your phone
Sorry, if you still got a question, you can post it here or PM me Sorry for my bad english, this is my second thread
Does it need internet for anything?
No, you dont need any internet connection after downloading those files. If you dont need PdaNet (PdaNet used to connect to the internet using your phone as modem), then exit it. Its ok
my device does connect
I follow ur all steps but its show ur device does not connect
I try to upgrade to Jelly Bean Mini Project and successfully but after reboot only logo CM10 display continuously and can no longer be in recovery with CWM or update / Repair via PC Companion, I try to flash again but always fails because USB Debugging Off, "how to enable USB Debugging..?" ... Previous HH I already unlock the bootloader.Tks b4.(Sony Xperia Tipo Dual)
Hello,
Could you provide us with a little bit more information? Because I don't fully understand your question... So you are in a bootloop, and you can't recover with CWM?
And you say you can't flash because off USB debugging off? That isn't correct. Androxyde's flashtool works even for devices without USB debugging on!
And you can always try Sony Update Service. Perhaps that'll work.
Please give a little bit more information, so we can help you out! What have you tried? What is the problem with Flashtool? et cetera, et cetera...
Cheers, and good luck!
I suggest next time You use TWRP instead of CWM
Are you flashing with androxyde flashtool?

hit thanks if I helped you
Hello, everyone
I need your help
I was trying to rebrand my BLL-L22 (which was working fine) to BLN-AL20C00
(To upgrade to Oreo)
so since Bootloader unlocking isn't working anymore , I followed this Thread :
[GUIDE]Unbrick honor6X. (No boot. No fastboot. No Recovery. No bootloader code)
the process was easy and clear
but something is messing I guess
I reach the point where my phone phone start working as factory mode
I restart to fastboot and flash the OEM by this code :
Code:
fastboot flash oeminfo BLN-AL20C00
and it's done successfully
then I restart the phone
then I put the UPDATE.APP (of this version: BLN-AL20C00B172) in dload folder
and do the normal dload method , but it doesn't work (says: please insert otg/sd card or check app files in 2 mins)
I think this is because the firmware is differnt from the factory mode system
...
I tried many things like installing TWRP , trying to flash the Update.app contents by fastboot :
{

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
and still nothing works
..................
I even installed my original oeminfo (BLL-L22C636)
and trying to flash all my firware versions : B150 , B360 , B391 , B396
and alllllll didn't work
...................
so I need to undersatnd why my phone doesn't accept any normal dload files and what can I do ???
I'm even begining to suspect that HL2BLNTMBD001051 isn't compatible with my phone !
but if you are sure that it is the right one , tell me what can I do after reaching the factory mode stage
because my phone doesn't accept dloading anything
look at the photo attached
this is when I try to install the Update.app contents by fastboot
(after I restart from this stage , the phone do bootloop , so I start over and try something else)

Disclaimer:
I'm not the one who build this method I just wanna share the only way I found to downgrade this phone to android stock. I'm not responsible for any brick or bad use you may have with your phone.
Requirements:
* Bootloader Unlocked
* Motorola Drivers Installed on your PC.
* USB Debugging Enabled on your Device
* A Moto G8+ XT2019-2 Compatible with this firmware version
(All your information and data will be erased from your device. Please make a backup before proceed).
Your can download the firmware build without bloatware or pre-installed apps from my one drive storage here
After decompressing the file your can read the "DOHA" .txt to see all details of this android 9 build. Also you can right click to "Flash ROM" and "edit" to check all command line on the main file.
The last step its connect your Moto G8+ on fastboot mode to your PC and double click to "Flash ROM.bat" a CMD window automatically open to flash your device. DO NOT CLOSE THE WINDOW. Wait until finish and the device will be downgrade to android 9 stock.
If everything was fine the CMD window will automatically close and the device will be restart.
Additional Notes:
* With this firmware version will NOT work some moto gestures.
* The system goes more smoothly and apps open more faster.
* Battery life improved a lot more compared to android 10
* You can still receive OTA updates
