i have head unit HuiFei and its version MCU version MTCB - KGL4 - V.2.08 AT OCT 24 2014 and model no. S07 anndoid version 4.4.4 -10122014
and lately unit started to give me a lot of error so i decided to upgrade or down grade to have it working i installed from your site the following upgrade
MCU version MTCB - KGL1 - V.08 OCT 24 2014 and Andoid version became 4.4.2-30102014
after this i have the can bus did not work even after i put a check in the factory setting still does not work , put i am happy with the unit no more error and BT for i phone working better without unit
how i can get my can bus system works and my car is SKODA FANTAZIA 2010 ?

There is an XDA area dedicated to Android Head Units at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android-auto/android-head-units which would be a good starting place. I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the thread there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2660662 where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you but I don't know if anyone will have any special insight on your particular car model. Be patient and give the members plenty of time to respond.

I need big help with an android car unit please!!!

I have a car unit and i need an update method of from where to download, how to instal. Do I even need the newest version? I need help as well how to switch off the rear camera not to be shown on the screen! So here are the details that you may need to know.
Mercedes Benz B180 CDI w245
Model number: A-MEDIA AUTO (1024x600 W)
Android version: 6.0.1
Kernel version: 3.10.0 [email protected] #1019
Build-number: px5-userdebug 6.0.1

What do you mean not show the rear camera on the screen? If you mean so it automatically comes on in reverse and off when your not that's down to wiring not software.
The latest firmware is available in the software development section or you can run malysiks Rom which is also in the software development section along with instructions on how to install it

I would like to deactivate the display rear camera when in reverse. I do not have a back camera to display on my screen therefore i would like to disable that function of course if its possible.

Settings > car > factory settings (pass 126) and it'll be under one of those tabs

i found the links that you mentioned above about the updates, however there is millions of files to download i'm really not sure wich one i should download. Other than this there will be no questions about the head unit... unless i cant install but that should be a piece of cake. I just need the correct files to download.

Identify MCU Manufacurer

Hello All,
I've used the XDA forums for research in info for a long time but I'm new to posting to the forums so I hope I'm posting in the correct location for this.
I have a new HU and am trying to identify the manufacturer so I can hopefully find the correct ROM and recovery for it.
HU Specs:
MCU - MTCE_HT_V3.13c_1
Model & Hardware - PX30(1024x600)
Android Version - 9
Build Number - rk3326_mid_userdebug 9 PQ2A.190305.002.20190603.120251 test-keys
As I understand, the HT portion of the above MCU should designate the manufacturer but I don't find them listed in any of the known manufacturers lists. If anyone can assist with identifying who they are and if there are any ROMs I can safely use with this HU I would appreciate it very much. Please let me know if I need to supply any other info. Thanks.

Anyone tried loading the new MCU version 3.80 or 3.83 GS for MTCH headunits into an MTCD or E unit?

As title. Was scouting around for updates and general info when I came across these MCU on a Russian site. I wondered if any of the coders here knew if they would be compatible?

I flashed MTCE from MTCD without issue but now the MTCH v3.80 (108kb) is half the size of the latest MTCE v3.79 (209kb) so if anyone can tell if it is recommended to upgrade of if its just compatible... if there are issues...

You are trying to update the MCU firmware of your radio on the MTCE platform with firmware from another MTCH platform so know that these platforms are closely related from the same developer but still different (MCU microcontrollers are different and MCU firmware is different) , if you are lucky the update will fail otherwise the inclusion will stop working. The MCU may be repaired only with the help of a programmer.

Hi Guys, I've been plugging away doing my own researching trying stuff etc. Just wanted to jot down my experience and see if anyone wants to chime in on a few things to help.
I ended up upgrading from my unknown version of Android 9 PQ2A to Android 10 CHS2 IMG -> Download Here
Updating my MCU Firmware from version 3.04 to 3.54 -> Download Here
I tried a number of different images, some not booting, some having a error on the screen MCU doesn't match type stuff. Tried those fixes but they didn't work. Tried the different mod packs but to be honest so many are so ugly.
But OK so I've settled on Android 10, everything works generally OK but I have two issues.
1. My sound used to be alot louder so I presume I had a patched MCU previously. How can I get this patched (file shortcut above)? The android amp mod software doesn't work.
2. My WIFI while it works is generally problematic compared to my Android 9. Is there any patch for Android 10 to fix WIFI related issues?
3. Is there any other Android versions I could update to? That may work with my KSP MCU version? Android 11 or 12 with the same styling as my CHS2.
4. Rooting the headunit seems to be an impossible task, mines not rooted but the mod packs available on here look horrible so I have just left it stock, anyone know of a better way?
But yeah looking for the MCU Sound Patch for my version which isn't available anywhere on the forums and the tools seem to have been removed, and if there's any root or other versions of Android etc.

SoundPatched only works on non-DSP devices, if you want a newer one you need to ask cs-x(RU) to adjustmentit , send him a private message:

I personally use Hal9k paid mod 5.2.0 and have no problems, but other users report both bluetooth and wifi problems, mostly with the WQ_RF210 driver, probably a general problem with the latest android 10 updates. They report the same problem on Dasaita. Same problem with bluetooth, also has android 11, so until they release a fix, all I have to do is try older updates. Good luck.
