Interested, share, please!

I'm using this 360 degree case
https://www.novamobilephone.com/coll...r-xiaomi-mi-9t

Using this one, satisfied, even fingerprint unlock works fine with:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000097642523.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.1fd24c4dikcUVb

I've been using this case for 2 months now and I'm satisfied. The touch response is absolutely right, and as far as fingerprint is concerned, there were initially problems, however, when I memorized just one finger, everything works fine.

Recommend a case with front-cover.

Device: Mate 9 PRO.
Please recommend me a decent case with front-cover (idk how to call it, a flip-case?).
One I got is a bit tacky. It won't fit well with the device and overheat easily when charging.

There is the official flip-cover if you want? https://aliexpress.com/item/For-Hua...Leather-Case-For-Huawei-Mate/32788089395.html Looks fine to me.
Be sure to use a Screenprotector when using the official Huawei flipcase because even the magnet in the case will scratch the screen!

I didn't realize there's original Huawei's flip-case.
It looks promising, thank you!

Will do, could you recommend a full-sized glass screen-protector? I usually find the unfitted ones.
I use this as my daily case, only issue i order black and recieved blue but looks nice

Also recommend this screen protector:

Default white case

Does anyone know where to buy the default white case? If not, does anyone have one that they don't need anymore?
EDIT: Noticed I posted this in the wrong section, is a mod able to move this to Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Accessories please?
unfortunately i can't even find the black one. on mine the button covers were bent out after a few days and i removed them alltogether.
it feels nice, but the quality of the cover isn't that great.
maybe try the Nilkin one? used that on the Mi A1 for a good 9 months and no issues. (and there is a white one as well)
try imak cowboy case, its almost identical to the oem case but with cover for the bottom port, really nice
No, this can't be bought, even in China.
same issue..i have the white mix 2s..the default cover cracked a few days after use.. not able to find anywhere.. that's actually sad, as mi makes back covers for most of its phones
as someone pointed the cowboy case looks good....but there is no white variant....

Ah that sucks, nobody seems to do a case similar to the OEM one. The only white ones don't cover the buttons at all, the Nilkin ones look too thick. I've got a nice Voppton one but again they don't do white.. :crying:

I bought a case called MSVII, although it is not like the OEM, it is very comfortable to hold.
Got an IMAK Transparent Crystal 2 Pro case that's as thin as the original case (thinner than the MSVII and Voppton cases since it doesn't have the soft rubber coating). Looks rather nice as it's transparent. Drawback is that since it's so much like the original case that the screen lip is not raised.
There's an official Xiaomi case you can buy that's nicer than the one that is included with the phone but it doesn't appear to come in white:
https://www.oppomart.com/xiaomi/mi-...h-microfiber-lining-for-xiaomi-mi-mix-2s.html
The case is more minimal than I personally like--I don't feel comfortable using this type of case outside my apartment but if you like minimal the case is nicely designed.

Waterproof hard case for K20 pro/ Mi 9t pro

Hey Mi users,
I have been on the lookout for a waterproof hard case for the K20 pro / Mi 9t pro, but haven't managed to find one. I'd like to use my phone in combination with a QuadLock for running and cycling and would like some weather protection. An universal waterproof pouch won't work because the QuadLock system needs to attach to a hard surface. Maybe a universal waterproof hard case could work, but I didn't find any.
Open to case suggestions and other waterproofing tips.
Thx
Kaï
I doubt there will ever be a waterproof case for the K20 Pro because of the pop up camera

yeah i was worried at first about waterproofing but then i have seen some vids showing testing it after being dunked under water for over 5mins and came out fine but who knows with editing but i also i watched JerryRigEverything take it apart and even though its not been certified by xiaomi for a waterproof rating it still has rubber around most of the seals where water would get in so a little rain or sweat is not going to damage it, i wouldn't take it underwater diving to take photos but any case should be fine for some weather protection
i actually went with a rugged case off aliexpress the Rugged Armor Mi 9 SE 9T Case For Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 6 Pro 7 Case 6A 4X 4 7A S2 Mi A1 6X A2 8 Lite Pocophone F1 Cases Silicone
as it has dust caps for the ports too which was another issue i thought might be a problem, and has added benefit of abit of front lip so dont have to worry about screen touching surface either, yet to get it so can't tell you how much it adds to the bulk of phone or if blocks cameras in any way. will let you know once i do get it
My device did fall in water few days back and came out working fine like before.

I think there is some water protection, it just isn't advertised, I watched jerryrigeverything breakdown video and there seems to be a few rubber gaskets around ports and what not

Right, it's not advertised as water-proof, because manufacturer couldn't attain IP certificate. If they did advertised it as such, they would only ask for unneccessary issues with authorities. But some form of water-proof is indeed in there. Diving is not recommended, but it certainly will survive much more than some random splashes.

Probably would have made the phone cost more too as they would have to pay to get the certification.

Why not use this thread already in place?
Case / Screen protectors
What case / screen protectors do you plan on using on your new p7p ? If the modem is still terrible at least you can disguise it in a nice case :D

Question pre installed screen protector

Is there really pre installed screen protector on the Xiaomi 13 as some mentioned? And is it any good? Surely it wont withstand a hit with a hammer, but for normal every day use, is it enough? Should I get another one while buying the phone? Like I have had Xiaomi phones that come with a rubber case and those cases are good. Never had a need to change them. How is the screen protector?

I haven't gotten mine yet, but as far as I recall Xiaomi includes a film screen protector with each phone. It works about as well as any other basic film screen protector. If you're the type of person that prefers glass screen protectors, though, you'll probably want to get one elsewhere.
If I get like tempered glass, will it limit the finger print reader functionality? It didn't really work so well on my Xiaomi Mi note 10 until I installed a specific custom ROM.

It may have been a thing a while back for glass screen protectors to lack the appropriate transmittance for optical fingerprint sensors like in the 13, but nowadays I believe they have it sorted. I would look for ones that advertise high transparency, sensitivity, or accuracy.

Pre-installed screen protector is sh*t, not pleasant at all to touch.
If you intend to use gestures, I recommend no protector at all.

That's surprising! I have a POCO F3 and have been using its pre-installed SP since I got it over six months ago. It's held up great so far and I don't notice any touch sensitivity issues!
Do you think the 13 uses a different setup?

I am using Xiaomi 13. Nope. Only Samsung has the fingerprint issue with tempered glass.
