I got xbox streaming working great but the GeForce NOW app won't open for me.

Working fine for me with Moonlight.

Thanks for the info, I was specifically talking about sideloading the actual GeForce NOW app.

I got it installed and running but oculus tv res is too small so its unusable.
need someone to make a tv wrapper for it to work properly

Modern Combat 3 is free today in the Samsung App Store

The title says it all, for those of you with the Samsung App Store on your devices, today’s freebie will make an excellent addition to your app drawer, if you haven’t shelled out for it already. Modern Combat 3 is one of the prettiest games on Android today. Pair this game up with a USB controller and you’ll have a console quality experience.
The game has a robust singleplayer mode as well as online multiplayer. You really don’t want to miss getting this one for free, especially since the game costs $6.99 on Android Market

Are you rooted running another ROM? Sometimes nightly Roms have a lot of bugs in the WIFI. If you are, or even if you are not, do you have the option to change the wifi bands to automatic so that your tablet will connect with both 2.4 and 5 GHZ wifi bands. I would start there. I have slow connections sometimes with my tablet, if its really bad I just reboot the tablet or toggle the wifi on and off.
Good luck

[Q] Why not Firefox OS?

Hello guys. I was wondering, instead of only porting new Android versions to our Optimus One, why not continue the work for the Firefox OS port? I saw it stopped and the thread got closed (maybe lack of time).
At hardware level, it should run. Some B2G code seems to be adapted already for ARMv6. If not, there's a port from some months ago for the Geeksphone Zero that could work as a nice reference. I know it's not MSM7227, but it is similar.
I tried to work on it, but it seems that I don't have enough knowledge to do it yet. But if somebody starts to work with that, I'd be honored to test.

FirefoxOS source contains some Armv7 code which is very difficult to convert to Armv6

Cm vs stock animation..

Hi does caf that use cm make the animation smoother in general and the device faster ?
What does caf really bring to our device ?

What does caf bring to the device? http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Main_Page
The device is already buttery smooth. I have not seen threads complaining about lag in terms of animations but one guy. It basically had to do with google launchers and the amount of widgets that he could place which was an ungodly amount. He was basically upset that his device only lags when he cycles through his widgets. Things that make you go hmmmm... but whatever
Don't get me wrong those dev guys at CM do a great job bringing old phones up to speed and supporting a lot of devices but in reality it is just another ROM that everyone knows about and I am not personally a fan of.

S8 Plus HDR Compatibility

Hello Everyone,
I know that S8 plus is supporting HDR, but HDR10 Compatibility is something that can be done via software update? or its hardware related and built in the device itself?
Both, also depends on the developers, for example, Netflix has hdr support but is not active for our devices
