Hello I want to install a Android 10 ROM but I just can't do it. I've followed instructions and tried to install crdroid, Paranoid and Pixel Experience. Everything result as a never ending boot animation or "no command" screen.
The logcat spam me with
Code:
[email protected]::IVendorF ingerprintExtensions/default
ServiceManagement: getService: Trying again for [email protected]::IVendorF ingerprintExtensions/default...
I've followed those instructions
From last OOS, reboot to fastboot, boot TWRP, flash last OOS and TWRP, reboot, do the same, reboot, format Data, reboot, flash the ROM and TWRP, reboot.
I've may added some extra reboot to be sure but it should work fine.
What did I do wrong, is this because I come from a BA version and not AA ? or 10.0.4 instead of 10.0.3 ?
I need ppl to tell me if they were able to flash a ROM coming from 10.0.4 BA please.
Thx for your support
Please someone, don't tell me I'm the only one having a European firmware...
I can confirm this too when i use EU vendor (GM1913).
I just use MSM to convert the device to International (after backing up EVERYTHING).
Using MSM->Unlocking bootloader again->Installing AOSP

Thx it worked
I put the link for MSM tool here to complete your answer
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/how-to/msm-tool-guac-t3934691
Why did you not just falsh the international version in twrp instead of the eu version and then flash a custom rom of your choice. No need for the msm tool.

I did previously. No issues. Not sure if it's possible on latest version, but it did work
I followed my usual guide to upgrade...

The May update is 11.0.5.0. I have a patched boot with Magisk 20.4
https://yasmar.net/xda/patched_boot_11.0.5.0_204.img.gz
And the vanilla boot
https://yasmar.net/xda/vanilla_boot_11.0.5.0.img.gz
Did you update from 9.0? or from previous 10.0 ROM?

I went from Pie 10.0.20.0 to Q 11.0.4.0 to 11.0.5.0.
I wasn't offered 11.0.2.0.

Thanks,
And from 10.0.2.0 to 11.0.4.0 - did you also update the same way, or did you clean flash from fastboot?

I've been using the same process for every OTA since 10.0.4.0.
Only a few updates caused issues.
10.0.9.0 needed a newer TWRP.
Magisk 20 broke TWRP.
When I did the android 10 upgrade I had an issue with some Magisk modules that I had not upgraded. It would have been fine if I'd upgraded them first. I disabled them to boot and then installed the upgraded modules.
Does anyone have the boot img from version 11.0.10.0?

There is no such version for Mi A2 Lite.
11.0.5.0 is the newest release (Android 10 with May security patches).
Hi @a1291762,
I'd like to know if
. it is possible to downgrade from 11.0.5 to latest Android 9
. it is possible to use a full working Gcam on 11.0.5 and how to install it.
Thank you!
I'm currently on v. 10.0.18 (I stopped the latest update for Pie) and I have a CSOT screen.

It was only the first Android 10 (11.0.2.0) that had issues with screens. The 2 followups (11.0.4.0 and 11.0.5.0) work on all phones.
In theory, it is possible to downgrade back to 10.0.18.0 using a fastboot image.

To get to 10.0.20.0 you'll need to get the OTA zip and install that. I'm not sure how to do that, but this process seems like it should work: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2-lite/how-to/how-to-manual-update-v11-0-4-0-users-t4082815
It might be worth checking if people have done the downgrade successfully. For example, the Pie-Oreo downgrade caused modem issues.
There's heaps of threads where people discuss gcams, but I do not know what the state is because I use the stock camera app.

Apparently there was a 10.0.20.0 fastboot, but it's not on the fastboot thread
I don't know where I got this URL from but 10.0.20.0 is http://bigota.d.miui.com/V10.0.20.0...0.PDLMIXM_20200327.0000.00_9.0_2baf524aaf.tgz

Hi
I've oneplus 7 pro with Open Beta 19, I need to install A11, I've tried to install OP4, stable but installation progress stuck at 84% for very longtime,
is there anyway to solve this?
Can I flash it over TWRP?
Probably, try OB1 Android 11 then OB4. If I recall , was the same process with PIE, you need incremental update first.

Thanks for your reply,
so I cannot update directly form OB19 to 11.0.0.2 Stable?
Sure TWRP will work.
Hello
Just bought a OP8T KB2005 version
I made the mistake to run all updates until reaching OOS 12
I got back using MSM to version 11.0.7.9 using this page https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-to-restore-your-device-to-oxygenos.4180837/
It seems to work as expected, but I wanted to know if there a way to push an update to the latest OOS 11 release
Found on this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/oneplus-8t-rom-ota-oxygen-os-repo-of-oxygen-os-builds.4193183/
this downgrade zip with version 11.0.11.11 but I don't know hoz to flash it.
Using fastboot ? It seems less secure than using MSM.
Thanks !

If you are on OOS 11.0.7.9 just flash latest flashable zip via local update in settings and you'll be on the latest OOS11 11.0.13.13.
Thanks.
Smoothly ran the update through local update.
Works like a charm!
