Quick question, Will there be an GSM version of the Photon Q LTE? with removable SIM?
I'm talking about a different variant

the codename for the photon q is the asanti_c, there is a lot of reason to believe a gsm friendly version will come out that will be called just the asanti.

Correct.
It is codename Asanti and the model is XT898. Right now I know it will be for AT&T, but usually you can get an unlock codes for other carriers.

As long as the carrier allows them it should. Seeing as AT&T is the reason behind the Atrix HD not being unlocked, (hardware/software support it, just not the Unlock My Device page), I'd say the chance is slim.

There should be international version of the phone, from what I know (I don't know about AT&T version).

There should be one if only for the fact that this is the first high end QWERTY device I have seen in ages

Yeah, with the botched email client that crashes whenever you delete an Exchange message =(
I guess it'll be useful again once ICS OTA hits soon but for right now it's an Angry Birds client for my kids =)

I fixed that bug the day I got my glide, just replaced the APK from the one on OsiMood, and we already have an ICS Update, you have to plug your phone on a PC, start Kies, and search for updates.
I don´t want to be disrespectful, but judging by your answer, I think that Angry Birds may be a little too complicate for your mental capacity, maybe you should try Pong, more apropiated for someone of your generation.

Very sad that it was cancelled. I used a GSM phone overseas (Captivate Glide), and it is silly that I need to use a different phone when home on Sprint.

How do I know if a oneplus one is a genuine 1

I've been offered a one plus one to buy for 250 but I always thought genuine ones said cyanogen on the back as the 1 I'm looking at doesnt. Is it a big problem if I got a Chinese 1 can I do all I can on it as a genuine 1. I'm in the UK is 250 a good price? Thanks

Chinese version is genuine. Just has less LTE support in America. In UK it's fine however. Check your carriers bands and the bands of the Chinese opo. If they match, go for it.

I have the Chinese its 100% genuine and original but lacks the CyanogeMod logo/markings on the rear this is obviously due to the Chinese versions not shipping with CyanogeMod but rather with ColorOS. And yes you can do EVERYTHING on it that you would be able to do on the international version. You need not worry. As you can also see below LTE shouldn't be a problem for you either in the UK,with a Chinese OPO.

I've been getting all my invites around the same time every month. 24th or 26th of each month, I've just bought my third one. Hoping to net one without the yellow, but so far I'm just selling them on eBay for a small profit. I hate eBay's 10% take, and PayPal' fee too...

Sorry guys I wasn't swearing at any of you so please don't take it like that. I said it as a saying. Like oh my god I cannot believe it but while I'm emailing the chap with the Chinese version. I literally get my invite at that point. Just thought it was a big coincidence. I wasnt having a go at any of you for the fact its came while I'm still waiting to be paid. Just a bit annoying as I don't want to miss it now its came. And I wasn't annoyed at either of you guys. There was nothing to swear at you about. you guys helped me with my question about if I got a Chinese version is there much difference. Then few minutes later I received my invite. I'm sure I can sort something out. Again no offence intended just wanted to say that as I didn't realise some took it to mean I was swearing at them but I wasn't.

I have the Chinese 16gb and the cm 64gb,there's no difference apart from the logo and obviously sd size. I flashed both with twrp and chucked the cm11s on the Chinese, both perfect.

Its all cool oneplus are currently processing my order

Hasn't been released. But UAG is in the middle of producing one for the Note 4.
They always shoot themselves in the foot for not having on-time releases for their cases. People usually go with another brand because of it.

On Facebook they replied to my comment stating that they would be released at phone launch.

I emailed customer support and was told the end of October.

This looks like the best case.

I just got a ship notification on my UAG Maverick! (Direct from UAG).
Now if Verizon caps /could just get me my phone...!

Seemingly for my Maverick/clear one. (Which now says sold out - fyi.)
But in all fairness - the USPS tracking still just shows "Shipping Label Created" since last night. But - I see that often with the USPS where you won't really get many updates, so it's hard to be sure...

**Case is now on the move with USPS. I ordered on Oct 14th if it helps at all.

T-Mo build will have the carrier aggregation and MIMO support enabled.

Nothing here. It appears a lot of people that were probably in are having issues. It is displaying a "server issue" message and not showing us as registered. Perhaps we were not selected but then again I have not read about anyone with a tmus device being selected.
I will be bumped down if Samsung couldn't supply the tmus users.

Nope not yet. And though I registered on Thur morning I'm apparently deregistered as of today for some odd reason. Though I'm certainly not alone. Seems to be a case of hurry up and wait to see if we've even been selected to participate. Hopefully so, but if not... Well... There's always waiting until it officially comes out.

I contact some sources from work and there is no known information about this release other than a stated beta that was suppose to come out today but nothing solid just yet.

Apparently they are getting setup of the s6 beta. This is thought to be the reason for server errors.
Maybe, I'm being very naive I'm sure, they are fixing bugs before release. YouTube is broken and other things in the sprint /Verizon release. I'm sure this isn't the reason though
Edit: Tmobile is having server issues. So that's the actual reason for the delay. Just gotta wait. Atleast we know now why it hasn't hit.

Build number is changed. I don't know other improvements.
I think the Oreo is coming...

Android O is definitely coming very soon, however I just think this update was just solving a tiny bug or something like that. Unless the bug effected the download and install of Android O, I doubt it was anything important. Still interesting though!

If you are a heavy user.. you will notice that animations are more smoother and ram management is bit improved

Normally, animations was closed but I recognized that the ram management makes feel the difference. :good:

That's what you get for buying at Amazon, a phone that doesn't update. I bought mine from a 'normal' retailer, it had the August patch too, but within 1 hour it downloaded 4 updates, one for every month from August till now. If I were you, i'd ask for a refund and buy one from a reputable store.

It has absolutely NOTHING to do with it being an Amazon phone. The update beta is NOT being released but to a few versions if the phone. In only certain countries. It WILL receive the full Oreo update when released. If you don't have facts then don't answer with some nonsense answer. Amazon IS a reputable supplier. It has also received every update. Including December 1st.

yes I also received this notification that you postedhere but I could not updated my phone on that time and have not any negative effects of ignoring this keep calm and ignore it.
