[Q] 9020A frame has seam??

Dear all,
brand new comer to XDA.
there is a question need your experience to help to figure it out: much appreciated for your help
there is a batch of 9020 onboard.
white is 9020A, black is 9020T.
white date of manufacture is in March.
black date of Manufacture is in Jan.
all of them are SA screen.
Actually, a lot of chinese guys fancy SA 9020, they are waiting for this for many months. However, we are sure these are brand new or used or refresh one.
one question is the infront frame has seam??? 9023 black does not have it.
pls see below pic. has you guys meet this before? is it usual or maybe the sales changed the frame and back?

below are label in battery container: does it mean this machine should be shipped to Mexico??
carrier info is ATT, so the cell phone should manufacture for ATT. however, label mentioned it shuld be shipped to mexico.

I have the white 9020a and I don't see a seam on mine. could you provide a reference point as to where the seam is other than the picture e.g. which side, top/bottom etc.?

most of them are on top, right side. slight seam,
one person who get the white one mentioned her device has seam on both side of top.
we just question that we think there should not be like this as Samsung should have good quality.
is it the problem for the mold? or for this batch they use the different mold? or the sales changed the cover?
by the way, this cellphone should be shipped to Mexico, does it mean anything?
dear friend, what is the manufacture date for your cell phone? is it ATT for US? would you pls look at the back carefully, see whether it is same to yours.

Yeah my phone doesn't have any seams on the device. Additionally, my sticker says it was manufactured in 3/2011.
The FCC label also has Spanish on it..

"FCC label also has spanish on it" you mean your one or in my picture? I know the label in my picture has Spanish, so we think it should be shipped to Mexico. if it is on your one, can I get the picture? just want to tracking it.
we just questioned that whether it is new one or 14 days or refresh one.
does mexico has 14 days policy?
did you compare the back cover with your one? is it same, if possible, can I get a clear picture for your back cover? actually, white one NFC label is much thicker than black one.

how many seams do you have,
actually, I got my white 9020A today, there are 2 seams on both top,very slight,

TF101G or TF101??? PICs of LABELs please!

How can a person tell by the label on the back of the box which tf101 to buy?
If you guys could provide some pics of your label showing the difference please.
I purchased this today and it is represented to be a tf101 (not G). How do I and other people who want to purchase one know what to look for?

For some strange "out of this world" reason I have a feeling that on the back of the box it will say......
Model: "Eee Pad TF101"
or
Model: "Eee Pad TF101G"
Also, it has no mention of "3G" on the bottom of the label.

I have looked for many weeks on ebay and every one that I come across that shows a label looks the same as mine. The only difference is A1 or B1 (16gb or 32 gb) So do you have a pic or just a sny remark.

Tf101-A1 no 3g 16 gigs
Tf101-B1 no 3g 32 gigs
Tf101g-A1 3g 16 gigs
Tf101g-B1 sg 32 gigs
as far as i know you can only get tf101g at selected carriers and if you was one on ebay it would clearly say "3G"

Well thats a relief cause there are alot of listings and no real clarity on ebay. So I rolled the dice on the one I purchased. And my main reasoning is the ability to root and flash roms and updates. There is alot of info on serial B70kas17 and before being SBKv1. But not much on tf101G SBKv3.
If anyone has a tf101G label they would share that would be very cool to see. For clarification of course.

I got a tf101g at best buy yesterday but the outside label was the exact same as yours with no mention of 3g it said tf101. Honestly I was suprised it was a 3g

I've got one couple of days ago and I believe the label had TF101G as model, I still have the box at home and will try to post a picture for you soon.

I have a 3G TF101G.
The front of the box has a HSPA+ logo and TF101G as model#
Physically there should be a SIM card slot on the left side of the tablet and there looks to be an insert of some sort at the top of frame as well.

Buy now or wait for Prime?

I've been searching around this thing called the internet for an answer but I can't seem to find an answer as to if/when we're getting the S5 Prime on Sprint. Anyone know the details?

That's because no one knows and it hasn't even been made official although everyone knows it's happening. My guess is, is that it might not even be available in the US.
There's a post on Sammobile saying there will be "limited quantities" of it due to production costs of the 2K display.

I'd buy it again..
Buy a new device whenever you need/want it because waiting for the next great device will never work by the time that device comes out the next great thing will again be on the horizon and the cycle continues..

Oh I've been through the cycle and back. Lol. Good to know that the reports are vague at best. The last thing I want to do is use my upgrade now and then find out that a better version of the phone is coming out in 2 weeks.

The answer is simple, if you think you will want what's in the ''prime" more then the reg s5 what's waiting another Month or so? If the s5 is good for what you want, then why wait?

I hate to say it, but ive never been more disappointed with a phone than with my s5. Battery isn't that good compared to my g2, it's slower than my s4 as far as unlocking and opening the camera, the fingerprint scanner is garbage for unlocking the phone. The camera is great in bright and dark situations but lower light it sucks. I do however like the look and feel, which is weird because most people talk about how much they hate it. Also why hasn't samsung implemented auto-input in the keyboard, it's 2014.

Might have to take another peek in the settings for the keyboard. Predictive text works great on this keyboard

Dude I'd say go for it. Me, I'm loving the S5,but I'm also a huge Samsung fan. Ice personally ha e no issues!

[Q] Radio Not Turning On?

I am having this issue since day one. I bought the Nexus primarily for testing out the developer preview. I flashed to it, everything worked fine. But as soon as I entered my sim and restarted, phone turns it's radio off and displays "Please turn off Airplane mode to place a call" when dialing a number and displays no service.
Also through the code "*#*#4636#*#*", I noticed I couldn't turn on the radio through the "Turn On Radio" button. Whenever I press it, nothing happens.
If someone can help with this, then that be great!

Sorry, I should have mentioned in the OP, I have tried every factory image available for the Nexus 5. Nothing changes. Even tried relocking the bootloader and unlocking it. No clue what is wrong. :-/

Very strange... Do you have another SIM card to try? Not sure if it would make a difference, but it's worth a shot.
Edit: Haha I thought I was the only one crazy enough to consider getting a Nexus 5 just for the Dev preview XD
I didn't go through with it though.

I am not regretting my purchase. Love the phone on Android L. Just that if the phone functionality worked.... xD Anyways, I have a secondary phone in use now. Plus yeah, tried other SIMs. Same issue. :-/

No RMA. I would recommend you wait for the final release. I don't wanna blame Google neither I am sure but I think Android L messed up my Radio in the first place. So yeah, wait for release and try to see if the final one has it all sorted.

I do not have an s3 to compare it to but the shealth app got a complete overhaul. It does much more now. It also speaks (heart rate, time, speed) at intervals while I am running. I missed the speaking when I first switched from carrying my phone to just my watch on runs.
It added many more activities to track too.

EDIT: Tmobile pushed the update finally! They actually came through.

Just checked for update on T-Mobile variant of Gear s2 and it is available. The size is: 146.52 MB and downloading now.
Update: It completed just fine. Watch runs well, but I haven't tested anything besides the installation of the update and some menu navigation.

Finally.... I got it

My T-mobile watch isn't activated with them and even has a bad ESN and it updated just fine.

Yes, I bought one of the refurb TMobile 3g Classic ones before Christmas, I already have a sports Wifi one. I have not activated it on T-Mobile (I'm on sprint), and I got the update today. Works well. I can make and receive phone calls via Bluetooth easily. Not sure I need my Wifi one anymore. Wish I had known this before I bought the WiFi as Sprint does not sell the 3g version at all.
