Has anyone noticed low call volume on the 750? Are there any hacks to get higher call volume? I am using one of the earbud headsets and the call volume is still too low.
Im on the 1.13-ATT version of the WM6 Rom.
Can you help?
I'm interested as well...definetly wouldn't mind mine being a little louder too...
i often find myself jamming the phone in my ear to hear people....
a fix for this would be nice...
A good solution to a low-volume ringer alert is this (available only if the ringer file is a *.wav file)
- copy the file to any folder in the desktop PC
- run "Sound Recorder" located in the "Accessories" folder, Program section;
- open the *wav file;
- use the "Increase volume (25%)" tool in the "Effects" menu, many times as you want, until the play volume is quite high.
- copy back the file on the native folder in the PPC.... and go!!
If the the file is in the *.mp3 format or others, try to modify the volume with an appropriate tool.......... f.i. Ringo or similar

Sorry, but our issue is talk volume....not ringer volume. Is there a way to get the talking volume higher?
Have you tried making sure the volume is all the way up? There's 2 volume sliders, one being the system volume (the PDA img) and the other is the call/ringer volume (I think) (the phone icon)
Might not be the issue, but that's sounds like it's the same problem I had when I first got the phone, and this fixed it

Phone->Optons->Ring type = none
use the volume butons while the phone is ringing. You can also remap a button to have the same function as volume up/down (using a software like AEButtons or something similar) and press that instead (i have used the gps buton remaped for volume down).
yes, but in this way you have to restore the volume settings after the call...am I wrong?
Not sure what post you're referring to but if you hit the volume button while it's ringing you silence the ringer (different than dismissing). You don't have to restore volume settings afterwards.
perfect! thanks
hey guys.
can someone help me with this? :
If I want to adjust the in call volume during a call, it happens nothing.The other 2 volumes (system and ringer) can be adjusted without any problem.But if I press the up/down with volume keys during a call,the volume's window pops up and goes to max or min,but nothing happens in sound's much.
u have no idea which file/files are related to adjust in call volume?
(n I don't mean snd_soc_msm_2x from system/ect. It's a lib file I think).
any idea? or can u introduce me a guy who knows which file/files is that?
Any way to do this I have root so any build.prop changes or something that I can do to fix this
For now, changing the media volume is impossible unless a media was playing and then you pressed the volume keys, that will change the media volume. I really we have a solution.
If you're rooted, install xposed and gravitybox. You can make volume button change the media sound only.
Oh yeah, I forgot that Xposed could do anything.
Don't post unless you know. You're misleading other members.

Who? Me?
Hello guys i did search the forum for this issue but did not find anything.
So my problem is that the volume up/down button always lowers / increases the volume for the media rather than the system/ringtone sound.
If there is already a topic on this issue then im sorry and you can link this to it.
In the previous Phones of mine ( galaxy s3-s6) this was not the case.
So did samsung change that on purpose?
Greetz
Go to Settings and then to Sounds and vibration and uncheck "Use volume keys for media".
