hey guys.
can someone help me with this? :
If I want to adjust the in call volume during a call, it happens nothing. The other 2 volumes (system and ringer) can be adjusted without any problem. But if I press the up/down with volume keys during a call, the volume's window pops up and goes to max or min,but nothing happens in sound's much.
u have no idea which file/files are related to adjust in call volume?
(n I don't mean snd_soc_msm_2x from system/ect. It's a lib file I think).
any idea? or can u introduce me a guy who knows which file/files is that?

Dear all,
I'd like to write an AP which will change a pda phone's ringing volume while someone call you. It's not while talking, it's before you pick up the call.
I need to change it when it's still ringing. But I don't know which API or registry can I use to change it. I search on internet a lot but seems no one need to implement this kind of function.
If anyone know, please help me. Thanks a lot.

While talking, slide the volume hardware button UP or DOWN. The receive volume level shall change...Simple..
i think he want to change the volume of the ringtone while its ringing.. no idea yet
Actually, it depends on what you're using. if you're using the new Opal volume slider you can't really control the volume.. i dunno why.
trying to search for a solution myself.

Thanks. But maybe I didn't say it clear. I modify my post about that.
Yes, it's not when you're talking. It's while it's ringing.
And I want to write a program to do it. So sliding volume key doesn't work for me.And sliding volume key while ringing will make it mute, can't change volume like in talk. So I couldn't send a volume key event to change it. Thanks.
I'll be searching for a solution as i can't change my incall volume at all.. not even while in a conversation.
i'd be happy to have an app which can do that.. both while it's ringing and while in a conv.
Yes, I plan to write a similiar app like you say. But now fail to change volume while its ringing, but in conversation is ok.
hello!
i have a question about how to control the volume of the sound..
when you press the buttons on the left side of the phone, the volume increase or decrease by 20%
so, it's a problem for me, cauz i use a headset with a remote on it: when i'm listening music, the sound is too loud for me! it hurts! so i press the button to decrease the volume but it goes off!
i mean, if i'm at 20% of volume, the sound is hurting my poor ears, but if i press the button to decrease the volume then there is no sound at all!
is there a way to change the volume by 10% or 5% only when we press the left side buttons? i know i can use the stylus to precisely tune the volume but when i'm listening music i don't want to get my phone out of my bag or anywhere to change the volume!
i didn't find anything in the registry.
thx sorry for my english, i hope it was understandable!
I am not sure if this will help, but I tried reducing the volume with touch and it reduced by one or two bars at a time, instead of reducing by three to four bars at a time.

well i really don't understand why there is no registry key or cfg file where we can tweak the HTC VOLUME app...
any idea?
When I'm on a call (regular headset or speaker phone) and I press the volume buttons on the left of the phone, the display shows volume being changed up and down. But the actual call volume remains the same which is always loud.
The volume control buttons work for everything else (ringtone volume, Youtube, music, etc.), but just don't change the volume during calls. If there's a way to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi,
is there any way how to make volume key silent? I was searching web for advices and only found guide to replace volume1-7 mp3 files in system/media/audio/ui , but unfortunately there not any volume mp3 files.
Does anybody know, where are the bloody beep sounds to be replaced?
(I do not understand, why this can not be customized, why in options there is not option - disable sound on volume key with confirmation they I agree I will not hear the volume level during the change of the volume.....)
Cover the speaker with your finger

Hey everybody,
I'm having a strange problem with my incall volume adjustment. During a call it shows an in- or decreasing volume-bar but the volume isn't really changing.
I'm using minimod10 from ngoralph with the garudav5 kernel + USB fix .
I tried to remove the soundabout app (only sound related app), but that didn't made any difference. Somebody else any idea? Am I the only one with this problem?
I was wondering if it could have to do with other applications using the Volume up/down button. but only found the "cursor right/left" option, which didn't gave any difference after disabling....
any ideas/suggestions are welcome! Thanks in advance!
