Alright what's up people, I'm currently experiencing the same issue that the OnePlus 5T peoples were experiencing and never got the solution for the OnePlus Bullets Wireless (1).
So here's the issue:
When I'm on a call peoples on the other side tells me that they're hearing a humm sound when connected to the bullets wireless 2 and when I put the call to phone in-speaker it's back to normal. Whereas in I can hear the other side what other side hears is humm instead of my sound. And when I'm playing a game, the mic works fine? Why? Using OXYGEN OS 9.5.11-(GLOBAL) DEVICE-(GM1911) point it when I bought it worked fine. But why after two months this happens?

I'm having an issue with my Idol 3 5.5". It functions normally when in handset or speaker mode I can hear the other party and they can hear me, but when I connect to my car's Bluetooth people tell me they can't hear me or it sounds like the mic is far away and under water. I did not have this problem with my last phone so I do not believe the issue is with my car (it's a Grom unit) I have only had this phone for a couple weeks and have had the issue from the beginning.
I'm running 6.0.1 stock ROM build 7VAB-UEB0
So far I have tried:
turning off and on Bluetooth on my phone during or right before calls
unpairing and repairing my car
I am charging an old Bluetooth earpiece to try that today and make sure it isn't an issue with my car.
Anyone else have this issue and were you able to solve it?
Me too, dont know what to do

Not the same issue. That thread is talking about poor/low microphone when recording video. This thread is about poor microphone quality through bluetooth, which does not use the phone's microphone.
I'm still trying to determine what the issue is. I tried using an old bluetooth headset and the test call was fine so I will try it tomorrow while driving to confirm. It might be that the Idol doesn't like certain bt devices.
Well after about 3 days of use it appears I have a bad mic. The other person only hears me on speaker or in a headset. What happened after the Nexus 5 where these phones started becoming garbage?
Im reading this is a common problem with the phone.
Anyone else run into this? Anyone have a fix? Blowing air in didn't work and neither did playing with the headphone adapter.
Just hit mic issues on my Pixel 2 as well. Mic works in video recordings but not in audio recordings or for google assistant. Apparently Verizon were told that there is a software fix coming (http://www.valuewalk.com/2017/11/problems-google-pixel-2-mic-solved/) but I can't find anything official. I did get it working again by blowing into it but that only lasted a few days. Now it's not working again and blowing ain't doing squat.
Whenever I put a call on speaker or during video calls,The other side complains of Not hearing me properly. It is fine with earphones & not on speaker.Anyone facing this problem or can confirm for me? They can hear my voice clearly on Xs Max when on speaker with the same network.
Bump
Had that happen few weeks ago, blow out your phone something with a can of air
Hi,
When making a phone call, the receiver of my call complaints that he almost can't hear what I'm saying. When I then switch to speaker, I can be heard fine. Isn't the phone using the same mic for both normal conversation and speaker phone?
Is there maybe an issue with noise reduction? I remember back with the Nexus phones, that the noise reduction could sometimes make a phone call difficult to hear.
(OnePlus 7 Pro on 9.5.11 and now also with 10)

Are you speaking directly into the mic? Is it noisy around you? Is it noisy around the other person? Are you yelling into the mic 1 cm away from it? Is it fine if you leave it off speaker but move the device further away?

Hi,
I have same issues with my phone. I have tried with both EU and international roms.
If someone have a solution I take it :good:
Similar issues here.
It's actually my biggest complaint with this device. Being on a Canadian carrier and thus not having VoLTE or WiFi probably isn't helping either.

I disabled VOLTE and Wifi and this seems to improve quality a little bit.

Sorry for the long delay......
- Yes, directly into the mic
- Not noisy on both sides, tested this today again with my son in our house. It was quiet
- Not yelling, just normal volume.
- Doesn't change when moving the phone away
To add, it seems that calling with WhatsApp voice is a little better and voice call through DUO is really good. Don't understand this.
I have a Redmi Note 6 Pro that was working fine for the last 2.5yrs. About a month ago I started having problems during calls. Suddenly I can't hear the other person but they can hear me. I figured it was a problem with my speaker cuz my son(who has the same phone) said his was working fine. So 2 days ago I bought a Poco x3 nfc and the first call I made the same issue happened with the new phone. I tried making a call in safe mode and the same thing happened again. It's always that I can't hear them but they hear me. Then today my son told me his phone did the same thing several time while he was on a long calll. I have no clue what's causing it or how to fix it. Any suggestions?
Did you use a headset when making calls? Or was your phone in hands-free mode then?

No headset. It happens just talking oldschool holding the phone to my ear and it also happens when it's on speaker.
