Android auto mi mix 3 - Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Questions & Answers

I'm on xiaomi EU on the latest update and Android auto doesn't work.
Someone know if it can be a Rom problem or just a phone problem?
I connect it but my new vw t-roc don't Detect anything.
Any solution?
Thanks and sorry for my bad English

You do not say HOW you connect your Xiaomi to your VW.
I have my Xiaomi working with Android Auto just fine (Global ROM), but on a Mazda.
To be sure: you have connected the phone by BOTH Bluetooth and USB? Your USB cable needs to be DATA as well as Power (4 wires NOT 2). Use the original Xiaomi data cable!
Sorry for my bad kidneys.

Yes obviously both, with usb and Bluetooth.
Maybe can be a problem of xiaomi.eu?
Now I don't have the cable with me, I'll try when I get back home and I let you know if it works.
Thanks for the answer

Now work
Ok, I change the cable and everything work perfectly.

Help needed, Headunit defective or buggy?

Hi community.
This is my first post, so please be nice. I just got my first Headunit and i am having some trouble. It´s an Xtrons TE706PL (MTCE Oreo).
The first problem is WIFI. When starting the connection is always good. But after a few minutes of inactivity its is going down to nearly nothing. In this moment the head unit is on my desk only two meters distance to my router and it gives me only 0.5mbit/sec.
The second problem is USB and SD. I cannot see any pluged in devices in USB or SD-Card slot. The File Manager does not detect them. Only with ES File Explorer I can see the devices pluged in USB and use the files. SD-Slot seemes to be completely dead. But this cannot be right, can it?
So please help me. Did I get a defective Headunit, should I send it back? Or is the software so buggy and I should try another software?
Thanks in advance.
Edit: If I don´t connect with Bluetooth the Wifi seems to work. Strange!

Probably you have a md725 bt module (is a rtl8723 wifi+bt chip) that some guys reported to be interfering bt and Wi-Fi signals.
(Check which bt module is set up on factory settings)
Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
The factory settings say: WQ_BC6
Maybe it would help to use a seperate bt/wifi dongle.
Some people here seem to be successful with the Comfast CF-WU725B.

Android Auto does not connect to Car

Hello,
I've recently bought a Realme 5 Pro, but the android auto is unable to communicate with my car.
I've already tried to enable usb debug (as required with some huawei devices) but I was unable to get it working.
Any feedback? Does your device connect your car?

Have you opened a ticket in the Realme Community ?
Today started working.
I've use an original cable from Samsung, but I don't know if the problem was the cable or something else

Android Auto not working ?? Help me

Good morning connecting my Pocox3 NFC to the car via Usb, a Seat Arona of 2020 does not start Android auto. I think it is a phone problem as I have tried with a Real me X2 pro and everything works.
I read on other forums I have heard about the problem of cloned apps but I don't have any. Equal is more a problem of MIUI 12 .. I don't know ... can you help me !? thanks
for me in an audi a3 (which should be similar to arona regarding software) 2018 it works perfectly :S (using cable, not wifi)
Try removing second space and enabling usb debug
no I have already tried to delete the second space and enable usb debugging but on my Poco x3 there is nothing to do it does not start

Android Auto?

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my P30 ELE-L29 with Emui 10.1.0.171, my car does not recognize the phone, when I connect usb cable, so android auto does not start. I remember that months ago I tried to connect my phone, and it works, but I was on Emui 10, so I suspect that Emui 10.1 broke my connection in some way. Could someone confirm that Android Auto works on Emui 10.1? If the answer is yes, what could be the problem? Thank you in advance.
I have same problem but in 10.1.0.191 , I found that the problem is the cable, if u use the original cable always works fine;
But before this update, I used short cables with my car without problem, and If I try with a Samsung with any cable always goes well Android Auto.
Its very strange.... I dont understand why this happen! Have u tried with original cable ?
