I have an Erisin PX5 unit running Hal9k which has an issue with Waze.
I understand it is related to screen DPI which I think is set to 240 (no idea how or why).
My screen is only 7" 1024x600 which is 170 DPI.
Are there any issue settings the DPI to 170 or what is the recommended?
I have read about some issue with the UI if too low.

Hi all,
I have an Emgeton 7 inch tablet for which I'm trying out some different ICS ROMs on. The best ROM I have found so far has one issue:
The screen orientation is 90 degrees out. The accelerometer actually works but it is set to 90 degrees "ahead"
How and where is the default settings for the accelerometer set and is it possible to change it without a re-compile?
Would I be able to use anything from the stock ICS firmware to fix it?
Thanks in advance.
There is a bug where of you reduce the brightness down as far as it will go, the screen is completely black.
This means its impossible to do anything, including increasing the brightness
The only solution is to reflash. Same with a replacement unit, so its a software problem.
Can I get a 3rd part ROM? It looks like this is the same tablet as an archos 80 cobalt.
Is there a utility in the play store that will fix the brightness so that my kids don't play with it again..
Hi,
I recently bought a Tolino Tab 8 with a Intel Atom Z3735 processor, running on KitKat 4.4.4. Everthing works fine but every time i switch between apps the screen brightness changes depending on the background of the app e.g. when i open twitter (mostly white background) the screen brightness goes up and when i go back to the home screen (black background) the brightness goes down. No matter if i enabled auto dimming in the settings or not. I've read that has something to do with Intels Display Power Saving Technology which is used to extend the battery life of the tab. I tried to edit the build.prop (mentioned here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65422943&postcount=1786 ) to turn it off but nothing worked so far. I also tried to find the driver settings itself ( mentioned here https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo...Tab-S8-50-Screen-Dimming-Problem/td-p/1873040 ) but could'nt find the right settings.
The Tablet was manufactured by Trekstor if this matters somehow.
Hope you guys can help me to solve it.
I also have a minor bug where i can't change video resolution in the youtube app above 720p even the Display has the resolution of 1920x1200 which i think has something to do with 4.4.4.
Hi guys, I have a problem with my eonon unit Ga8161 7.1, (px3 mtce KLD). When I set the brightness below 50%, the back lighting starts sobbing, as if there were a blinking LED flashing. I contacted the assistance asking me to update, I updated rom, mcu, installed rom halk and malaysk but the problem remains. So they sent me a new MB (not Android px3, but the MB where you install the MCU) is the problem is left. They sent me a new display and the problem remained. If you set the brightness to around 50% up, the problem disappears. What is the electronic card presented behind the display ??
I have a RCA 1080p monitor connected to MSI GTX 550 ti through HDMI. My native and recommended resolution is 1360x768 but when I increase size, it shows image zoomed and too blur. I tried resize screen which made my resolution lower as it thought my monitor is low resolution, but there was a black ribbon on left of monitor. But then main issue is blur content and screen issue. Issue is resolved when I use HDMI on my led but issue remains in monitor. Kindly help me out

Hello, sound's like a driver issue. Whether the graphics card or the monitor isn't recognized with it's correct available resolutions. I would reinstall the drivers.
It sounds like you may be running into a resolution issue. The resolution of 1360x768 is not supported by your MSI GTX 550 ti when connected to an HDMI monitor. The highest resolution supported on a 1080p HDMI monitor is 1920x1080. You can try setting the resolution of your monitor to 1920x1080 in the display settings of your graphics card. This should resolve the blurriness and black ribbon issue. If you are still having trouble, you may need to update your graphics driver to the latest version. If none of these solutions work, you may need to get a new graphics card that supports higher resolutions when connected to an HDMI monitor.
