Hi guys, I have a problem with my eonon unit Ga8161 7.1, (px3 mtce KLD). When I set the brightness below 50%, the back lighting starts sobbing, as if there were a blinking LED flashing. I contacted the assistance asking me to update, I updated rom, mcu, installed rom halk and malaysk but the problem remains. So they sent me a new MB (not Android px3, but the MB where you install the MCU) is the problem is left. They sent me a new display and the problem remained. If you set the brightness to around 50% up, the problem disappears. What is the electronic card presented behind the display ??

I started SuperPAD (deb-2.1v#3245) one day to find a "black" screen. Bricked??
Figured I would re-flash firmware 3245 and then install the Stragulus Android 2.2 update. Didn't take the first time, so I started all over by re-installing Android 2.1-v3245. Install was good, but now (beginning with the initial boot process) my screen flashes on and off continually. Using WindHex and IUW to re-install just about all the various Firmware’s available; nothing would keep the screen from flashing on and off, on and off, etc.
For some reason, I decided to change the "Brightness" level and "eureka"; when the brightness was reduced the flashing screen intervals increased and at a little less than half the brightness range the flashing stopped completely!!
Question is, "software" or "hardware" problem?
Comments towards a fix would be greatly appreciated.
I am running 5.1.1 on my Nexus 5, and have recently noticed reduced battery life. When running Quick System Info PRO, I notice that "system_server - BluetoothPhoneService" is constantly consuming anywhere from 15-60% cpu, usually 20-30%. I have tried everything INCLUDING restoring all the original factory ROM's, starting with 5.0 (LRX21O) up to 5.1.1 (LMY48I), yet the issue persists. Toggling Bluetooth doesn't help any. Bluetooth functions normally when needed, but is usually kept off.
Has anybody else encountered this issue?
Any advice would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike.
same problem
Hi, I've the same problem since the last Android update! Quick system info shows that system_server (BluetoothPhoneServer) uses ~24% CPU and >82MB memory. The device gets warm and batterie is empty after 3-4 hours.
Hello,
I'm having the same issue but with another phone (I'm off-forum but not of topic).
I recently made a factory reset to try to solve a problem and now the battery drains quicker than before.
According to Quick System Info Pro, the process system_server BluetoothPhoneService regularly takes at least 15% CPU.
I'm running Lollipop v5.1 stock room on a Wiko Highway Star
If somebody had an idea...
Thanks

Hi
I'm using Dasaita Max6 MTCE_HA_V3.40_1 Nov 11,2019, Kernel is 4.4.167
my issue is the time to boot the system up.
It cycles thru the GPS that i'm not using (IGO), then the phone takes forever to connect..
One of the selling features of this unit was supposed to be a fast boot up.
I can jump in my car ,start it, and be home (4 minutes later) and no music or radio.
How do i maximise and make the boot up time more quicker and efficient.
If not instantly on/resume, suggest wiring issue.

Well i should clarify. Clearly the unit is powered on . it just takes quite a bit of time to cycle thru the navigation boot up, then the android boot up.
If the device isnt presenting a home screen at power on, how has the wiring been validated as correct. Also, what have the sleep settings been set to?
This isnt a common issue, power on resume is standard across all MTCD PX3-PX6, therefore you have a wiring or settings issue.
Search the forums and post what you have tried / validated before posting.
Nothing?
I reread the manual this afternoon. I reset the sleep setting and with a small testing sample the problem seems to be fixed. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hello All,
I recently installed a new Android Head Unit on my Peugeot 407 (PX5 | 4GB | 64GB | MTCE_MX2). Detailed specs below.
Ever since the installation of Head Unit, my battery has been going flat. I tried trickle charging my battery few times but it keeps going flat in few days / weeks that I have to jump start my car too often.
Is there a way to power off my Android Head Unit everytime I turn off my engine? Currently it goes to sleep when I turn off engine and I'm wondering that might be a contributing factor for the drain.
I can't find the power settings under "Car Settings --> Factory settings" menu. Please advise.
My head unit specifications below.
Car: Peugeot 407
Unit: PX5
OS: Android 10
CPU: Octa-core Cortex-A53 @1.5G
Memory: 4GB
Storage: 64GB
MCU Version: MTCE_MX2_V3.60_1
Kernel Version: 4.19.111+
Build Number: rk368-userdebug 10 [email protected] eng.hct2.20200909.085823
Bluetooth Module: WQ_RF210 (as pre-selected in the Factory settings in the head unit)
Thank you!
Hey All, I've been experimenting with few settings over the last few weeks and at this point I think I've found the right settings that turns off your head unit everytime you turn off your engine.
I don't have the exact steps with me right now. But I will be back soon with more details.
Stay tuned!

There is a problem with your head unit/wiring/car/battery.
A properly installed head unit cannot deplete the battery in sleep mode.
Perhaps consult a skilled installer or auto electrician in your area and also have your battery tested.
This had been written about many many times.

Thank you. Yes, I suspect there are larger problems. But just in a difficult spot stuck in lockdowns right now. Without a lots of access to the services / skills needed. So needed a shortcut / quick solution as described in the question. Good news is I found the settings and it worked.
Meanwhile, If you have links to the previous discussion you were referring to, please add the links below when you can.

So, there are 2 settings I changed for this to work.
In your Android 10 Head Unit,
Goto Settings -> CAR -> Factory Settings -> Enter Password -> Other and set "Default Power Status" to "Off"
Goto Settings -> CAR -> Extra Settings and set "Shutdown Delay when ACC OFF" : Desired time in seconds / minutes.
In my case I'm rolling with 30 seconds right now, as I don't take the car out often these days. Post lockdown if you are driving around a lot, you might wanna set this to a reasonable time in minutes.
Thanks All! Hope this helps!
