When you start messing about with it Smart switch and Kies don't want to know, so don't bother trying.
What device do you have? Where are you? What firmware installed?
To force a reboot hold power+volume down until the phone goes off then Quickly press home+volume up+power. This should boot into recovery mode where you can choose factory reset and reboot.
If this fails then force reboot again (power+volume down) but this time press power+home+volume down to boot into download mode, then flash the correct firmware with odin.

I saw few videos flashing via odin, looks very easy. I took phone to a local phone store, so they will try to flash it. If they fail, i must flash it no matter what.

Got phone from local phone store, phone is working, except network, i can't make calls, messages cause i have no network coverage. I did tried to flash firmware from my country, but everytime i get fail.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Boot Loop

Hi Guys.
I really hope someone can help me. I'm kind of a newbie at this so please excuse if I don't use the correct terminology or something.
My Dad's Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has been rooted a few months ago and everything worked completely fine. Then about 2 months ago, it restarted randomly. (This was entirely random) Then something went wrong and the device would not boot at all.
It's a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000
So I tried flashing it with the factory firmware with no luck. (after this the white noise/static screen appeared)
I sent it in for repairs and they said it was a faulty battery and overcharged me to repair it. So I rejected their quotation and replaced the battery myself for a quarter of the price.
Unfortunately this did not fix the problem.
When turned on it shows a white noise screen(I hope that makes sense) and then shows the samsung logo after a few seconds. It will then restart and continue this cycle until I disconnect the battery or it runs out of power.
I'm almost completely certain that it is a software related issue. I'm thinking the firmware got corrupted somehow.
Can someone please refer me to a guide to completely flash the device so that there is no firmware on the device at all, and then flash it with either a custom firmware or the original samsung firmware.
Or if you guys know of an alternative fix please let me know!
PS. I can access the recovery mode (pressing the power & volume button).
I have uploaded a video to youtube showing exactly what it does.
Use Odin to reflash the latest firmware for the device, then boot into recovery and do a factory reset to wipe cash, data and dalvik. It should boot after that if it is a software issue.
Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk
Also, providing the link to the youtube video would help
N8000 loop
Hi everybody!
I've got the same problem. I installed a 4.4.2 rom a couple of months ago. Everything got well, no problems, no loop, no random restart.
Suddenly, while I was NOT using the tablet, it started to reboot.
I tried everything but I can only access in download mode.
With Odin it writes than was not possible to complete write.
What can I do?
Please, help me if you have any idea!
Thanks
Alberto

same for me N8000 in bootloop cannot pass throught samsung logo and cannot enter in recovery just can enter in download mode :crying:
My wife's Note 10.1 does the same thing. Boot loop, Only thing I can reach is download mode. It won't boot past the Samsung Logo.
This Note is stock, it has never been flashed. My wife hasn't used it for a couple of weeks and now it's in this state.
Anyone?
Same here n8000 samsung bootloop, but i can acess recovery and downloaf mode, i reflashed stock kitkat and custom rom but nothing changed. Can i install ics rom? The last was kitkat.
Tried loading a couple of stock roms through Odin. They work every time. Odin declares it a success. But it still won't boot.
When I check the re-partition it fails at once. Doesn't do anything. Just fails.
I think it's time for an iPad.
I think it too bro....
boot loop Stock rom, no root.
boot to samsung logo and stuck. boot only to download mode. no recovery

It's so discouraging... I've been looking for an answer to this same problem all weekend, and was so hopeful after reading and learning about all these different problems solved, and such brilliant minds tweaking their stuff for fun, there seems to be no answer to this problem of the re-boot loop. I used to think Samsung was the best, but now I've lost all faith...
exactly the same problem since this morning when my son was about to watch his favorite videos on youtube and turn on the note, it just stuck in the samsung logo,,,, cannot go to recovery, only download mode

Same issue here. The battery was completely drained so I charge it overnight and found Samsung boot logo in the morning. I tried to flash UAE stock ROM and it failed as it found no partition. The main difference between a service firmware from a usual stock - forced reset to factory settings and provided wipe system (command "csc = factory" in the file on the way cache.img/recovery/command; for regular firmware it looks like "csc = home"). CSC file contains PIT-file to force the file system layout verification.
Caution! Service firmware produces wipe user data:
- removes section USERDATA and recreate it with the factory settings;
- removes SD-CARD partition and recreate it with the factory settings (format Internal sd-card).
It makes:
- the system state official: in Downloading mode Current Binary: Official and System Status: Official;

Le proof (Click for image).
It says I've got firmware/bootloader (I don't think there's a way to tell which version of the BL you have) version T530XXU1BOD8, so that seems to be the same as the Lollipop stock ROM (T530XXU1BOD8_T530OXA1BOD8_HOME.tar.md5).
It still won't boot into anything resembling an OS, but I'm gonna go through the whole TWRP and CM installation again. Who knows, maybe it'll do the trick.
I'm afraid this is a different problem tho, like it's not loading the correct display drivers or something...

Yup, heard the startup tune, Kies recognized my device again:
(And I let it update the firmware to the latest official whatever)
But it still will not show anything else than the bootlogo as I'm writing this (+10 minutes). I'll keep it plugged in for the rest of the afternoon, maybe something will happen. If not, I'll try again in a few months, maybe it's just some weird bug with the device, idk.
Anyway, thank you for your assistance @repey6!

[HELP] Galaxy S7 Exynos G930F stuck in Dowloading after /efs error and extremly slow

Hi Everybody,
my phone was working with latest twrp and lineage os 15.1 without issues until 2 weeks ago. I got a /efs error, as I was on my way to the airport, I just rebooted a couple of times. This put the phone in the loop that it now only boots into this, which roughly needs 2 hours to get there:

}
from restarting (Volume-Down and Power Button) it takes roughly 2 hours to get back into the same state.
any other button combinations not working, so no Access to twrp...
I Think the screen does not change during Odin Upload tries, so no status or other writing on the screen...
What i have tried so far:
Samsung KIES:
in "emergency recover" -> "phone model is not supported" (after adding Model and SN: ) in Main screen it is stated as an "unsupported device"
Samsung Smart Switch:[/INDENT]
roughly the same error as in Kies does not show up in list in emergency recovery, in Main screen it is stated as an "unsupported device"
Odin:
Downloaded latest firmware from sammobile
1st try: it failed (after several hours) with a log stating re-partition not possible ( I have not saved that log...)
2nd try (with Option Re-Partition enabled) log static for 1 hour EDIT: now it failed:

Status:
after many tries to get into Download mode i can not mange it...
The Phone only reboots when volume down + Power is presse, this takes two ours and only gets me to the screen shown in first post, so it looks something like Download mode but it is not 100%, it shows up in ODIN but is not accesable
Volume down + power + home (holding for 10s upto several minutes) results in blank screen and I need to wait several hours to start over again
Vollume up + power + home results in blank screen and I need to wait several hours to start over again
I also had once a distorted screen, looking like a RAM-Hardware Problem
any Ideas on how to proceed?

He doesn't have any approach. He just likes to waste others time. In my thread, https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/help/samsung-s7-edge-stuck-powered-android-t3859791 he did the same message. When I contacted him on WhatsApp, he wanted the picture of the phone in download mode that I provided. Then he stopped replying and seeing any of my messages. God knows what is his intentions.

SOLVED - Bricked/stuck on Smart Switch error screen

Samsung S7 (unlocked) (UK) SM-G930F
Hi
I don't know really where to start but I can tell you where I've ended up.
I tried to install Resurrection and after I went through it all it has just ended up with Odin failing.
I then thought I would try to reinstall the stock from Sam's mobile and following that I'm ending up with still a fail and also smart switch software message remaining on the screen.
These are the files from Sam's mobile

The firmware you are trying to flash is older then what is already on the device. You need the correct version 8 firmware to flash with Odin.

The firmware you've posted is an old unbranded France yes?
This is the latest version of that firmware https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s7/firmware/SM-G930F/XEF/download/G930FXXS8ETC2/327936
If you know how to use Samfirm tool you can download it faster. The firmware code is XEF.

No, it was a UK firmware for the Three Network (H3G)

Thanks, I'm not familiar with it, I'll check it out. I paid for a 30 day subscription so the download speed was ok.

Hey I posted the message before I saw you'd already found the right firmware so shouldn't have to do anything else now. Unbranded UK has the code BTU.
The S7 is getting on abit now so I don't think there will be any further release from veriosn 8.

I think I'll grab the unbranded firmware as this one has Virgin crap all over it....(that didn't sound right at all HA HA)
Nice one for the heads up on Samfirm, the speeds are just as quick as the paid subscription on Sam's mobile.
cheers

Did you try N9860ZSS2DUI3? Another thing would be your PC or laptop not supporting USB C To C cable and might need to use USB A to C cable.
Yes I tried. And I used an OEM Xiaomi cable
This error on top, what does it say?
If odin is continuous causing problem, install Samsung smart switch and use emergency device recovery option to get the phone boot up.
Tell me can you manually boot to download mode ?
