Did you try N9860ZSS2DUI3? Another thing would be your PC or laptop not supporting USB C To C cable and might need to use USB A to C cable.

Yes I tried. And I used an OEM Xiaomi cable

This error on top, what does it say?

If odin is continuous causing problem, install Samsung smart switch and use emergency device recovery option to get the phone boot up.
Tell me can you manually boot to download mode ?

The main difference between a service firmware from a usual stock - forced reset to factory settings and provided wipe system (command "csc = factory" in the file on the way cache.img/recovery/command; for regular firmware it looks like "csc = home"). CSC file contains PIT-file to force the file system layout verification.
Caution! Service firmware produces wipe user data:
- removes section USERDATA and recreate it with the factory settings;
- removes SD-CARD partition and recreate it with the factory settings (format Internal sd-card).
It makes:
- the system state official: in Downloading mode Current Binary: Official and System Status: Official;
@repey6, I read the complete thread, but I'm still not clear on which of these files I should flash. Do I only flash AP_T530XXU1BOD8_CL4741109_QB4756762_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5, or all 3? And if all 3, in which order? (Asking here, since I don't want spam sub77's ROM thread)

Cuz I did that, and it seems to only flash the stock ROM. Anyway, the result is the same - it keeps stuck at the bootlogo and, after a while, becomes responsive to touch, but with no screen updates...

Le proof (Click for image).
It says I've got firmware/bootloader (I don't think there's a way to tell which version of the BL you have) version T530XXU1BOD8, so that seems to be the same as the Lollipop stock ROM (T530XXU1BOD8_T530OXA1BOD8_HOME.tar.md5).
It still won't boot into anything resembling an OS, but I'm gonna go through the whole TWRP and CM installation again. Who knows, maybe it'll do the trick.
I'm afraid this is a different problem tho, like it's not loading the correct display drivers or something...

Yup, heard the startup tune, Kies recognized my device again:
(And I let it update the firmware to the latest official whatever)
But it still will not show anything else than the bootlogo as I'm writing this (+10 minutes). I'll keep it plugged in for the rest of the afternoon, maybe something will happen. If not, I'll try again in a few months, maybe it's just some weird bug with the device, idk.
Anyway, thank you for your assistance @repey6!

Samsung galaxy s4 mini GT-I9195 bricked without doing anything.

Hi all, my S4 mini won't turn on, while i was messaging, the display shutting down and can't turn on it.
When i connected it to my pc, my pc found new driver: QHSUSB_DLOAD. I searched it on google and i discovered that my phone was bricked without doing anything. So i flashed a sdcard with debrick.img and my phone finally showed:

I had the same problem with my galaxy s4 (gt-9505) where it didn't want to flash stock rom but I was able to root the phone (with cf autoroot) and also able to flash cwm recovery and flash resurrection remix and it's working fine now. Try it out and tell me if it works (better custom than nothing) and don't forget to press the thanks button .

Your eMMC is definitively bricked, or at least it seems to be.
I didn't find any solution for that on quick, but you could be able to manually repartition your sd card. I see your device is booting from sd card, so maybe you could give a try to plug in the SD into a linux machine and see what it shows you.

Other thing that i tried on my phone with Odin: I tried to repartition eMMC with PIT and CSC and both show same thing of pics.

Good, I don't know if you need to install a bootloader but there are couple of videos showing how you can boot from sdcard by modifying the hardware.

Ok so I don't know if there is any way to fix that. I also had a eMMC brick but on a S3 mini. If you did not install custom software you can send it for repair to samsung. If your warranty is already void you can pay for them to repair it but that would be expensive. You can also look for a eMMC replacement and replace it yourself. That could cost around 40 bucks, depending on what you need to order (dollars or euros).
Your emmc is now write-protected that means you simply can not flash anything. A reason for the brick can be overwriting the same file many times, using poorly developed apps or software / ROMs, daily backups in messaging apps, but also flashing many many many times could potentially make the eMMC to die. That is well-known on Samsung devices.
Is there any way for boot android from sdcard without replacing eMMC?
I found other thread with write protection: enabled but they can flash..

Can't get Odin to work for the life of me

I'm trying to get Odin to work so I can flash my bootlooped S7 back to stock ROM, but I can't get it to work at all. There are so many different "solutions" online, and none of them are working. I've followed the steps in this guide, downloaded and installed the USB drivers, using Odin3 v.3.13, using the SM-G930F AP/CSC files for my country and model downloaded from updato, and I'm still getting this error in Odin.

I suspect it's an issue with the drivers. When I plug the USB into the port, I get a "Installing device drivers" window, which recognizes two different devices: "SAMSUNG Mobile USB CDC Composite Device" and "SAMSUNG Mobile USB Modem". The CDC Composite Device is version 2.12.5.0. The Mobile USB Modem is version 2.12.4.0. I've pointed the modem to the USB drivers downloaded in the guide I'm following, but still get the Complete(Write) failed error, switched USB ports, still get the error, switched USB cables, still get the error, tried it with and without "Nand Erase" and "Re-Partition" checked, still get it, tried different Odin versions, still get it. Nothing is working, I've been at this for hours and am at my wit's end. Can someone please help?
Thank you.

Were you able to solve this problem?

These things I say might be long shots but well here I go:
For the drivers (if on Windows), disable automatic driver searching and then completely remove the samsung drivers and reboot. Then re-install them with your phone disconnected, reboot your computer again and then connect your phone while it is booted to system and make sure you select charging only or MTP.
Could also go advanced mode and look for leftovers in the registry of the samsung drivers if you know how to.
Or try downloading the latest firmware "G930FXXU2EREM" and try flashing it, if you succeed then you can flash your country/carriers CSC later and possibly modem if you experience low signal.
try running odin in admin rights or double check if the files you got are the correct one's.
You should use the PIT file from CSC file.

Root failed

I tried to root via odin, got error that failed, now my s7 is stuck on updating the device software, and can't start up, what should i do?
I tried recovery with Smart switch but my model is not supported, also tried with kies, same situation. what to do?

When you start messing about with it Smart switch and Kies don't want to know, so don't bother trying.
What device do you have? Where are you? What firmware installed?
To force a reboot hold power+volume down until the phone goes off then Quickly press home+volume up+power. This should boot into recovery mode where you can choose factory reset and reboot.
If this fails then force reboot again (power+volume down) but this time press power+home+volume down to boot into download mode, then flash the correct firmware with odin.

I saw few videos flashing via odin, looks very easy. I took phone to a local phone store, so they will try to flash it. If they fail, i must flash it no matter what.
Got phone from local phone store, phone is working, except network, i can't make calls, messages cause i have no network coverage. I did tried to flash firmware from my country, but everytime i get fail.

SOLVED - Bricked/stuck on Smart Switch error screen

Samsung S7 (unlocked) (UK) SM-G930F
Hi
I don't know really where to start but I can tell you where I've ended up.
I tried to install Resurrection and after I went through it all it has just ended up with Odin failing.
I then thought I would try to reinstall the stock from Sam's mobile and following that I'm ending up with still a fail and also smart switch software message remaining on the screen.
These are the files from Sam's mobile

The firmware you are trying to flash is older then what is already on the device. You need the correct version 8 firmware to flash with Odin.

The firmware you've posted is an old unbranded France yes?
This is the latest version of that firmware https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s7/firmware/SM-G930F/XEF/download/G930FXXS8ETC2/327936
If you know how to use Samfirm tool you can download it faster. The firmware code is XEF.

Hey I posted the message before I saw you'd already found the right firmware so shouldn't have to do anything else now. Unbranded UK has the code BTU.
The S7 is getting on abit now so I don't think there will be any further release from veriosn 8.

I think I'll grab the unbranded firmware as this one has Virgin crap all over it....(that didn't sound right at all HA HA)
Nice one for the heads up on Samfirm, the speeds are just as quick as the paid subscription on Sam's mobile.
cheers
