I'm on Verizon and I'm REALLY looking to upgrade to ONE PLUS 7 PRO but I feel that ordering the phone from OP directly might lead to better overall support after the sell.
So what's the history of one plus supporting a device under warranty even if I purchase it from TMO and using on Verizon.
All input welcome since I've ALWAYS wanted a OP device yet been afraid of support after the sell.
Also I'm mostly interested in not having to deal with TMO unlocking issue along with the fact that phones directly from OP come with probably the best screen protection option at the moment

Depends on the company you're ordering from, usually you don't have to pay VAT for export phones. But you'll still have to pay the 7% gst at the customs if you declare it to be more than 400 sgd.

Was thinking of getting one either from the UK or expansys HK. Emailed expansys HK last week and the staff said that even though its not on the website yet, its available for pre-order and stock should be in by tomorrow (18/08/2008) its going for HK$7000. Shipping will be another HK$150 to Singapore. Are you from Singapore too?

Yeah, dealing with Google for warranty replacements on Nexus devices has been completely hassle free in my experience. In my opinion it's one of the biggest selling points of buying the device through the play store.
Hi guys! I did not know where to ask this question, so I turned on here may be some of you have an experience. I am planning to buy a Nexus 5 to replace my Nexus 4. Tis should be a pretty cheap phone now since 2 years has passed from its release. I live in Canada and I was planning to buy one from ebay. They ship from Hong Kong and looks like it is new. It depends on shipper's declared value as to whether you are charged duties and taxes.
No mention of warranty on the listing.

I just bought a red 32gb from expansys. Will be delivered tomorrow. I'll post back about if it's in a factory box or anything else. I hope they're not trying to pass off refurbs as new.
I hope so. With the Canadian currency though, I think it is expensive for me. And i am not sure if they ship to canada. And if they do they would probably charge for taxes and other fees too!
