A couple of things.. did you get the error message before or after opting into the beta? It's called DSDS if and when it's deployed with Android Q release version. (dual sim - dual standby) What do you mean you got an Airtel Sim and got your QR code? Did you first get a physical Airtel sim and then eventually they sent you a code? It's unclear from your OP
Activate DSDS Model Pixel 3

Bro, Just follow the following and you should be able to get two network signals simultaneouly.
Dial *#*#INFO#*#*
Once you get the Testing screen, go into "Phone Information".
There you would have a toggle called "Enable DSDS".
Once you toggle it, it will ask you to restart the phone.
After the restart, you would have the DSDS functional, with two networks simultaneously.
Then you can go into the "Mobile Network" option and see both networks.
Also, if you now enter the "Network and SettingS" option, you will also see a new option "Sim Cards" where you can choose which sim to use for Data, call, messages, etc.
Try out and let us know how it went.
Please note that you need to be on Android Q Beta2 or more to be able to have the DSDS option.
Just opting in to Beta won't necessarily help.
You would also need to download and install the Beta.
Cheers!

You didn't say but have you tried a reboot?
At least20 times, wiped cache too
Came home and network works... I'm still taking it to service but don't know how they'll or I can test it. Other sim produced same error abroad so it's not that...
Edit:
Bit of an update:
I called my warranty place they said phone is from Italy which now made sense but that it should work. I ran imei check and it says blacklisted. I bought it new unsealed with warranty from official place so now I'm gonna need a new phone, right?
It is the bug of Samsung. I am having the same problem all the time on both S8+ and S7Edge. Iphone 6 is fine. Typical answer form Samsung is 'network or sim' related. O2 is saying problem with your phone. When I choose network manually everything is working. As a fix you can turn 4g off when roaming
hi,
is it possible to enable volte and vowifi on rmx2071? and how?
If you mean enable as the option isn't there, then sorry I can't help.
But if you mean enable, as in switch it on, then mine is under settings/sim card & mobile data/(select your sim card) /and its under network settings... 'WiFi calling'.
Unless of course the Chinese rom doesn't have it......
No way

I have the same issue with RMX2071. No VoLte, wifi calling or video call. whenever I place a call, the network changes to H+. Hopefully it works once we are able to flash a Global rom.
i have flashed a eu rom rmx 2076 but no volte options

I have the same issue but in my case is for two reason:
1. My provider not enable VOLTE in the sim. I test a Google Fi Sim and enable the VOLTE options in Settings.
2. Some provider have a internal IMEI list to enable the VOLTE service. If your device IMEI is not provisioned in this list even enable VOLTE options on the X50 Pro can work the service.

It looks like VoLte and HD call functionality has been a blame game between service providers and handset manufacturers. I am using Lycamobile in the US. The same sim card works flawlessly with VoLte and video calls when I put it in Lenovo Zuk Edge that I bought in early 2017. But this handset RMX2071 doesnot work.
does volte work on the global rom ... at least in the US
With RMX2075 VoLTE also not work.

I have RMX2071. After I upgraded to Android 11, some calls are shown as HD calls in the calls history. I wonder if they enabled VoLTE globally on Andoid 11. I have Chinese stock ROM.

Sorry I just had a phone a few weeks and sold it. Realme is very bad.
No 5G option on my preferred network.
Do you have A40 firmware yet? If not, then that's probably the reason why. On android-hilfe.de there have been a lot of people with 5G issues but they have been resolved with the new firmware.

Nope. I have the Vodafone model and I have 5G options within my settings
Sent from my CPH2025 using my thumbs to interact with GBoard
I've flashed latest german firmware .A42 and still don't have the 5G option...
Do I need to install firmware from another country?
Could you guys trigger "Developer Options" and check if "5G Network Mode" is greyed out or not
They activiated mine when I downloaded Android 11.
Do you guys have the CPH2025 model with 5G logo on the box? Then you should perform a factory reset, to see if that's help.
Sent from my OPPO CPH2025 using XDA Labs
IV always had 5g on my phone and IV flashed allot of different countries for each update I'm with ee, great 5g signal everywhere

Also mine activated on Android 11 BUT,
I did 5G Speedtests many times and compare it with NOTE 20 Ultra .
Find x2 pro : 20 to 40 Mbps
Note 20 Ultra : 160 to 280 Mbps
The same time, area and SIM card .
Also 4G is Faster than 5G and I don't know why .
When I got my phone via O2 in the UK, they told me that I would need a new SIM card because of 5G. I've not bothered to look into why this was necessary, but perhaps you need a new (5G compatible) SIM card too?

No, I don't. All 4G sim cards are compatible with the new 5G infrastructure.

@HamdiPiixel do you have the option in SIM card settings to activate 5G and the phone just doesn't switch to 5G or is there no option to choose from in the first place?

@HamdiPiixel I had the same issue. Open the telephone dials and enter *#54794824# Do not hit the dial button though. After youve entered the code a message in the lower half of the screen should appear saying "5G switch activated". Then the option should be there. If not check if it is there after a restart.
Thanks you bro it's work you save me

I am having problems with a SIM card that I received from a new company (Lycamobile). For some reason, my phone (Redmi 6) is unable to really connect to the operator's network. The SIM is detected, I can see the phone number in the SIM settings and everything, and even change the PIN if I want, but I have never managed to connect to their network, it says only emergency calls are available.

What I have tried so far:
- Remove and re-insert the SIM
- Restore APN to default settings
- Activate and deactivate plane mode
- Manually selecting the network (Lycamobile or Lycamobile 4G) in the SIM card settings
Moreover, I have an old mobile phone (Nexus 4), with exactly the same behavior. It never connects to the network and there's no signal. I even reseted that phone to factory defaults, to no avail.
However, my wife also uses the same company and has another lycamobile SIM card. If I insert her SIM (which is a bit older) in my phone, it works flawlessly. And If she inserts my SIM in her phone (and iPhone SE), it also works without any issues. Even more, if then I re-insert my SIM to my phone after she has used it, I get signal and the phone works for a few hours, until the network stops again.
I have been fighting with the company customer support for weeks, but they have not been helpful at all. They even sent me a new SIM card, in case the other was defective, but after activating it, I see no change at all.
You must also know that I bought this phone almost three years ago in the US to use it with that specific phone company, and it used to works just fine.
I think I have tried everything that I can think of. Maybe my device or my android version (9) are too old for newer SIM card? Do you think if I try another phone company I'll have the same issue? Maybe the only solutions is buying a new phone?

The first thing that came to my mind is the phone's network band capabilities.
Every time I buy a new phone I must be sure that it can work on all bands in my country and overseas.
I NEVER buy phones from the US because the network providers set up "monopoly" style network bands which only work with specific phones that only they sell.
Said that, I would go check your phone's manual and specifications and see what network bands it can connect to.
That "specific" company might have changed network bands like it is happening in Australia because they want people to keep buying phones.
Always buy phones labelled as "international" version!
That is most likely the problem, although according to the phone company, my phone should work in their network. I have checked the bands, and they do not seem to be compatible with the T-mobile network. But they should with the AT&T network, so now I have ordered a SIM from another company that uses that network, and I'll see...
The Google Pixel 6a will refuse to show my number no matter how much I try with different ways. The service provider says its Pixels setting problem and not theirs. Any workabout to it ??? Thanks in Advance

I don't know if it is the same problem as I have had in the past, But
Not all sim card have your phone number saved to them.
What I had to do was put my sim card into my daughter's iPhone and save my phone number back to my own sim card, and then my own phone could see my number.
Google search should tell you how to do that. Good Luck. It's well past time that android should have added that!
What?
Settings/About phone/Phone number (sim slot 1)
Settings/About phone/Phone number (sim slot 2)
If it doesn't show, reboot your phone.

You could ask a local mobile phone shop just to check your number is saved to your sim card. I think most would help.

Call your provider and work it through with them. They'll need the IMEI from the phone or the box you got it in. They need to register that IMEI with your phone number. It happened to me with my eSim and finally they figured it out but it took the second tier support guy.

I called operator. They say its activated properly from their side. I replaced sim. Still the pixel 6a is showing my sim as unknown although all services like call in/out, sms in/out and internet is working fine. Even the person whom I am ringing is getting my number correctly. Its just the phone and its strange why it is showing other sim number when inserted but not this number
