How to Add User Accounts to Android - General Topics

If you have kids you'll be used to them wanting to borrow your phone or tablet to play games or listen to music, but perhaps you don't really want them near your own apps and data where they might break something. Adding user accounts to Android is a great way to keep other users of your device out of your business, and can also make it easier to apply parental controls.
To add a user account to your Google phone or tablet that person will need their own Google account, which is now possible even for kids with Family Link. (If it's your own Google account you want to add to the device you would be better off adding it to your own account.)
Do note that any users added to your phone will be able to accept updated app permissions, so only share your device with people you trust. On the other hand, since you have the Admin account you'll be able to uninstall apps and remove storage space on user accounts.
-Open the Settings menu and scroll down to and select System
-Choose Advanced to see more options
-Select Multiple Users
-Click + Add user to create a new account and click Ok to the pop-up warning
-A second pop-up will prompt you to set up the new user - click Set Up Now to switch to the user account
-Click Continue
-Enter the Google ID login credentials for the new account as prompted
-Agree to the Terms of Service and accept the privacy policy as prompted
-Set a PIN, passcode or fingerprint as prompted
-Set up Voice Match for Google Assistant as prompted
-You'll then be offered options to add another email account, change the font size, change the wallpaper and review additional ---apps. Choose any of these or click No thanks

[Q] ISO: App to designate with which google account other apps should interact

Hello XDA community, I'm looking for an app or other way to to specify with which google account on my phone other apps should interact. I find it strange that we can set up several google accounts on a single phone but then have no way to tell programs which to use ( on a case-by-case basis or even as a default).
The only app I've encountered that does support this functionality is Shawn Q.'s Quick App Tracker (search on market - I don't have enough posts to include an external link). In its preferences there is a field "Google Account" with a dropdown menu that self-populates with the google accounts set up on the phone - you choose one, and then the first time you use the program and it attempts to connect to the market it prompts you with an access request you can allow or deny.
So the functionality exists, but it is clearly not something frequently included with apps that request access via a google account to Android services. Does anyone know of an app or even way to manually control this?
thanks

SuperAOSP config

i flashed this rom , but one of the steps is the following
"It is important before you set up Google account to be activated from applications before SupSetup so that when you connect to the servers to configure your Google account, they enter the downloads section.
After entering the market and to display applications install any application downloads for cool downloads."
am i not suppose to enter my google account, or do i enter the google account first
thanks
This is the second time i do this, never mind found my answer
"It is important to activate the applications from the SupSetup before setting up the google account, so as when the phone sync with the servers while setting up the google acount, this extra applications fall into the download section. After opening the market, and for the applications to show in the download section, just install any free application, so the market wil resync the downloads.

I just found this cool new trick to use multiple WhatsApp accounts on the same phone.
1. Create another user by going to Settings->Users->Add new user
2. Setup the new user account, you can add a new gmail account or the one that you are already using.
3. Install WhatsApp, Input your new number for verification.
4. Input the activation code.
5. You are all set to use another WhatsApp account on the same phone, you only need to switch users in order to check the messages.
Hope that Helps!

Restricted profile, cannot add Google account

I have a rooted (stock Oreo 8.1) SM-580T, Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Wifi, which has been working great, no problems. I have a normal user profile and added a restricted one for kids. My user profile (admin) is pin-protected. Within my profile's settings, I've setup my own Google account and added my kid's, as well. But I can't seem to associate any Google account with the restricted user profile.
When I go to admin user settings, to allow app access to the restricted profile, I also can't (even temporarily) allow access to Google settings. It's greyed out and says "Controlled by Bugreport." I have no idea what this means. There is no Bugreport app.
Finally, when I switch to the restricted user profile and try to set up Google Classroom, it says it can't find any Google accounts. So I'm stuck.
From Google, after creating a restricted user profile
If you're with the new user, that user can set up the Google Account and other details.
Click to collapse
Am I missing something about how this is supposed to work?
Thanks for any ideas.
