Use Multiple WhatsApp accounts on one phone - Android General

Hello All,
I just found this cool new trick to use multiple WhatsApp accounts on the same phone.
1. Create another user by going to Settings->Users->Add new user
2. Setup the new user account, you can add a new gmail account or the one that you are already using.
3. Install WhatsApp, Input your new number for verification.
4. Input the activation code.
5. You are all set to use another WhatsApp account on the same phone, you only need to switch users in order to check the messages.
Hope that Helps!

Creating groups and Google accounts

so i'd like to be able to setup some groups (family, friends, girls, etc) but whenever i make a new group and go to add people, no one shows up.
i'm guessing this is because only contacts saved on the SIM card are allowed to be in groups? how exactly do i allow my contacts saved to my google account showup and be able to be added in groups??
thanks

Where is you're primary contact source, for example, mine is google contacts and I find that the contacts linkage data is stored within the google contact info field within <HTCData><Facebook>id:999999999/friendof:8888888</Facebook></HTCData>. This then means whenever I then add additional accounts, eg FB etc only the contacts links that I've said NO to in the past are re-prompted for? as the linkage data in the google.contact.info field is automatically applied
So possible add the Google Account and get google contacts first when setting up your device. Does that make sense?

Sorry I made that term up, what I meant is which source do you keep the most contacts in and keep up to date, Google contacts, Outlook or FB?
That source I called primary as it is ultimately where your contacts reside, the others are simply places that the same contacts are in...and can add value to your initial records....
I add my google account first so that I get all my real contact (my friends) and then only sync the other accounts to where I have an existing user, so that my contact list is not filled with 100's of unnecessary people, just my friends contact records have extra data added to them.

2 WhatsApp accounts on same phone possible?

Hello all,
With companies like Tmo offering to have 2 phone number related to the same phone/SIM I'm wondering if there's a way of having 2 WhatsApp accounts on the same phone (one for each number).
Thank you!
On Huawei Phones (P10 in my case) you can use App-Twin. This enables you to use two Accounts for WhatsApp, Facebook or Twitter.
you can with parallel space app
Yes, We can use multiple Account In the same Phone
If you would like to run two WhatsApp Accounts on One Android Phone, you'll be able to use the Multi-User Feature offered by the Android Lollipop OS, including cyanogen OS and different custom ROMs.
Follow these straightforward steps to begin:
Step 1: Add Multi-User in an android Lollipop-Based smartphone. For this, simply move to Settings and click on Users and so Add User.
Step 2: Once once making a brand new user, offer complete details to set up a brand new user account
Step 3: Switch to the New User by pulling down the notification bar and clicking on New User icon.
Step 4: Once turned to New User, you may be supplied with an all-new phone interface with default phone settings.
Step 5: currently, Install WhatsApp within the New User Mode.
Step 6: Once WhatsApp is downloaded, enter all the main points, which is it.

How to identify the contacts who view my statues secretly
Hello Great developers,
I am using Whatsapp+ v6.85 moded by Abo2Sadam.
I am wondering if there is a way to know the contacts who viewed my status who did uncheck the Read Recipient in privacy settings?
Is there a way to identify them? Kindly note that I am not intending to prevent them from viewing my statues, but it's something personal and I need to know if this someone is viewing my statues secretly.

Looking for better contact management/deletion - suggestions?

Hi,
I am looking for a simple way to manage the contacts on my Lineage 15 (Oreo) phone. Adding contacts is easy enough, but when I want to delete something, the mess starts. Trying to delete via the stock contacts app gets me messages of read-only entries and hide-only options. This sucks. I've read about people having to log in somewhere online to try and take control again of their run-away contact data. Seriously? I don't even have a gmail account, and my phone doesn't run any Google apps either. Still, it seems like I am not allowed to treat local data in a local manner.
I guess what I'm looking for is a way to delete a single contact in a single step. I don't want to have to delete three or four times, regular contacts, Whatsapp, Telegram etc. - if I entered it in one step, I want to delete it in one step. Isn't there an app for this? Or alternatively, is there an alternative contact app that I can use instead of the stock contact app and that will give me actual control over MY contacts on MY phone?
Thanks!

How to Add User Accounts to Android

If you have kids you'll be used to them wanting to borrow your phone or tablet to play games or listen to music, but perhaps you don't really want them near your own apps and data where they might break something. Adding user accounts to Android is a great way to keep other users of your device out of your business, and can also make it easier to apply parental controls.
To add a user account to your Google phone or tablet that person will need their own Google account, which is now possible even for kids with Family Link. (If it's your own Google account you want to add to the device you would be better off adding it to your own account.)
Do note that any users added to your phone will be able to accept updated app permissions, so only share your device with people you trust. On the other hand, since you have the Admin account you'll be able to uninstall apps and remove storage space on user accounts.
-Open the Settings menu and scroll down to and select System
-Choose Advanced to see more options
-Select Multiple Users
-Click + Add user to create a new account and click Ok to the pop-up warning
-A second pop-up will prompt you to set up the new user - click Set Up Now to switch to the user account
-Click Continue
-Enter the Google ID login credentials for the new account as prompted
-Agree to the Terms of Service and accept the privacy policy as prompted
-Set a PIN, passcode or fingerprint as prompted
-Set up Voice Match for Google Assistant as prompted
-You'll then be offered options to add another email account, change the font size, change the wallpaper and review additional ---apps. Choose any of these or click No thanks

Thanks
