Can anyone post screenshots of the thermal section in AIDA64? The soc temperature seems a bit high but I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be.

You're correct sir. Apparently, it shows the battery percentage as the soc temperature. ?
Took me quite some time to figure it out.

It's not just AIDA64. CPU-Z does the same too. Its the thermal sensor issue.
Something is wrong with sensors in phone..

The phone heats up even without overclocking. The heat will seriously lessen your phone's life.

My L02 with EMUI 3.0 or CM11 does not heat anything, even with games more performance. And if you use no frills cpu and set the minimum frequency to 403MHz is really a piece of ice, I do not understand how your H60 become warm

Mine doesn't.

Hmm, I noticed this even with the stock ROM, whenever I played for long, the phone started heating up and framerate began stuttering. Wierd. Only thing I can think of is that I applied the back film that came with the phone and that probably is not conducting well.
I bought Honor 6 H60-L04 two weeks before. I installed CPU-Z and I was noticing THERMAL result for every day. Thesensor name "tsens4_tz_sensor" is showing 82.0 °C always :crying:.
I also attached screenshot.
1. Is it normal result?
2. What is min-max values?
3. Is there any other apps to measure Thermal results?
I need more information about Thermal sensors.
Please help me...

I checked on my device and it shows the same value. So , I guess its same for everyone.

Wth!! That's awfully high for a mobile chip!!! I think it's reporting incorrectly
Hi. I have Huawei MAte 7 and in CPu-z I'm getting the same 82°C temperature at the "tsens4_tz_sensor" . Like in the picture from the first post. In aida64 the same result. It's an error?
I have it too, and everything is OK. I think so...

thx for posting. strange. it makes no sense that 82°C . cpu-z and aida64 shows the same value for tsens4_tz_sensor. it must be something.
It must be a an inactive sensor. Don't worry about it, we all have the same.
Solved. Thanks to all.

I updated to Mashmallow build B831. This problem gone and sensor working well.
Update:
Sorry still looks same. theoneofgod is told correct "It must be a an inactive sensor. Don't worry about it, we all have the same".

What does it show now? Going up with heavy usage as it should?
Sent from my PLK-L01 using XDA Labs
This happens on my old G900F as well. It averages around 74 with a max of 95C°. I have no idea if It Is the CPU (most likely It isn't, the phone would just shut down). Something else Is causing the problem
Hi. I found something strange in Cpu-z and aida64 under THERMAL tab.
"tsens4_tz_sensor" is showing 82.0 °C and never change !!!!
It's normal? Can someone please take a look in cpu-z to see if it shows the same. Thank you.

I see the same value on mine. Most likely just a glitch in CPU-Z

Thx 4 replying. So it's nothing to worry about
Hi,
I'm using a GS7 TMO version unlocked (SM G930T).
I've been using the same for a couple of days and I find that the device overheats (max 56.7°C so far).
Also this temperature shoot up happens only when camera is being used (I made sure all the apps are closed and wifi/bluetooth/location is turned off).
Has anyone experienced this issue so far? What is the normal temperature range and what is the max that have been observed in your device?

Phone info app that I installed from Play store. I cross checked the same with CPU-Z app as well.
Could you share your observation for reference?
so, first, if it ist the CPU temp then it is absolute ok.
Mine goes up to 75°C till it throttles down...
I have the Exynos Chip

Thanks for the reply, yes it is the CPU temperature. I'm a bit worried as just opening the camera app shoots up the temperature.
it is the core Temperature - does the Phone itself get warm/hot?

Yes, I did feel the heat. Only after that, I started digging deeper.

Anyone else observing the issue? It's worrying me a lot as the normal temperature itself is around 41* C.
how long you using the camera for ? my S7 camera only jumps from around 27.7C to 29.8C for photos
then after 10-15 mins usage jumps to 34.5C
Hi guys,
I noticed that battery voltages seem quite high on my device: at the moment, about 4,373mV according to accubattery and cpu-z.
I am getting this reading at 96% charge and without any charger connected.
Which battery voltage and temperature do you get on yours? Post some screenshots Many thanks!
i would be more concerned about ur SOC temps being at 96 deg C than ur battery voltage honestly..

Exactly, noticed that and was wondering if it's actually true or if it's cpu-z giving a bad reading. Comparatively, what's the SOC temperature you typically get?

Interestingly, CPU monitor gives me a reading of 41°C on the CPU. AIDA gives 85°C on the SOC.
Can someone pls post their results here? I'm wondering if this a defective unit.
For me it's the same , way higher on Aida while on CPU monitor are always on 37-38 c even when the phone feels hotter

It could for some reason be displaying fahrenheit instead of clesius 96ºF is about 35ºC

Thanks, mate. Can you also pls post here some screen from your readings on AIDA, CPU monitor and possibly Accubattery?
What sort of battery screen-on-times are you getting?

Guys, actually I found the answer for this in the meanwhile.
A bug makes SoC temperature to be listed with the same number as the battery percentage of the phone in a given moment.
For instance, on the attached screenshots I'm including now, you'll see that AIDA lists 85ºC on SoC when I'm interestingly at 85% battery. The same for CPU-Z, listing 83ºC there, when I'm at 83% battery.
A funny one, right?

I had the same bug as you but i didn't notice
I got around 6 hours of SoT using bluetooth and 120hz and a little bit of 4g, gps from 100 to 20%, but I can't give accurate sot times since i've been charging it partially these last few days and also i cant post photos cause i'm new
And battery life? SOT please
So I just received the phone with 65% battery... Do I need to charge it first time for 8 hours?
Relax, honestly I would just use it till 20 ish and give it a good overnight charge.
