I bought Honor 6 H60-L04 two weeks before. I installed CPU-Z and I was noticing THERMAL result for every day. Thesensor name "tsens4_tz_sensor" is showing 82.0 °C always :crying:.
I also attached screenshot.
1. Is it normal result?
2. What is min-max values?
3. Is there any other apps to measure Thermal results?
I need more information about Thermal sensors.
Please help me...

Wth!! That's awfully high for a mobile chip!!! I think it's reporting incorrectly
Hi. I have Huawei MAte 7 and in CPu-z I'm getting the same 82°C temperature at the "tsens4_tz_sensor" . Like in the picture from the first post. In aida64 the same result. It's an error?
I have it too, and everything is OK. I think so...

thx for posting. strange. it makes no sense that 82°C . cpu-z and aida64 shows the same value for tsens4_tz_sensor. it must be something.
It must be a an inactive sensor. Don't worry about it, we all have the same.
Solved. Thanks to all.

I updated to Mashmallow build B831. This problem gone and sensor working well.

What does it show now? Going up with heavy usage as it should?

This happens on my old G900F as well. It averages around 74 with a max of 95C°. I have no idea if It Is the CPU (most likely It isn't, the phone would just shut down). Something else Is causing the problem

Hi. I found something strange in Cpu-z and aida64 under THERMAL tab.
"tsens4_tz_sensor" is showing 82.0 °C and never change !!!!
It's normal? Can someone please take a look in cpu-z to see if it shows the same. Thank you.

Thx 4 replying. So it's nothing to worry about
Hi,
I'm using a GS7 TMO version unlocked (SM G930T).
I've been using the same for a couple of days and I find that the device overheats (max 56.7°C so far).
Also this temperature shoot up happens only when camera is being used (I made sure all the apps are closed and wifi/bluetooth/location is turned off).
Has anyone experienced this issue so far? What is the normal temperature range and what is the max that have been observed in your device?
with which program have your read the CPU temp?

Phone info app that I installed from Play store. I cross checked the same with CPU-Z app as well.
Could you share your observation for reference?
so, first, if it ist the CPU temp then it is absolute ok.
Mine goes up to 75°C till it throttles down...
I have the Exynos Chip

Thanks for the reply, yes it is the CPU temperature. I'm a bit worried as just opening the camera app shoots up the temperature.
it is the core Temperature - does the Phone itself get warm/hot?

Yes, I did feel the heat. Only after that, I started digging deeper.

Anyone else observing the issue? It's worrying me a lot as the normal temperature itself is around 41* C.
how long you using the camera for ? my S7 camera only jumps from around 27.7C to 29.8C for photos
then after 10-15 mins usage jumps to 34.5C
I've recently bought a honor 8, it's beautiful blazing fast as compared to my previously owned Xperia z1 but today I ran Antutu benchmark on this device and found that my score is really very unstable... I've seen couple of videos on YouTube doing their tests of Antutu on their honor 8 devices and their score comes out more than 88k but man my phone first got 71k followed by 79k followed by 65k....
I mean like is anyone else who knows what's going on? Please guys tell me what I am doing wrong is there some kind of performance mode or something? I am running nougat (7.0) and emui (5.0).
Check out this screenshot.
Do you have programs running in the background? Antutu scores seem to vary a good bit in my experience, but ~70K seems pretty low.
Pretty consistent over here on B380. Did you make sure no apps run in background etc. during testing? It does seem a little odd

On B380 without restart the phone. I think result is good!

are you sure you have a Honor 8 ? why does your model not show ? why is your battery icon look like that ?
Sounds like you got power plan enabled or something , i'd do a factory reset or figure out the issue

Just downloaded the app and did the test with no reboot or anything.
Got a better score than before, but still guys it 10k less than the average of all yours. Everyone is above 90k.
Holy crap now look at this... What should i make of this.. just few minutes after it. I won't say the hardware has issues but it's just too unstable..
charge the phone. let it cool down. test it. last 2 results were due to low battery throttle. u had 10-15% left. obv, performance will drop. it also depends in which mode u're running ur phone and whats running in the back. in the end, antutu is usually unreliable. check if you get consistent results with geekbench, when the phone is charged. honor should be around 92k on emui4.1 and 94k on 5.
you should NEVER bench (if you actually want to get good scores) while under 20% or on charger

I do not think this is true. With 17% of the battery I got this score. Honor 8 does not gradually reduce by 20%?

its a general statement. phones tend to behave weirdly when battery is low. yeah in my case it performs pretty much the same despite the %, however this might not be the case for everyone because current state of the os/apps is different from one individual to another, and it could affect the end result greatly. if he thinks his phone is faulty, he should deffo service it, however sudden drop in performance, doesnt necessarily mean the phone is damaged. these drops are common even on nexus devices +bench methodology is different from one individual to another so scores should obviously differ. yeah, 80k is not 92, BUT it can reach 80, meaning it has potential. that sudden drop from 80 to 60 means either the phone is really and i mean really rekt, or there is something else going on, which is definitely a result of stuff installed on his phone. simple factory reset and pure antutu score in that scenario will show the real picture.

Can anyone post screenshots of the thermal section in AIDA64? The soc temperature seems a bit high but I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be.

It's not just AIDA64. CPU-Z does the same too. Its the thermal sensor issue.
Something is wrong with sensors in phone..
Hi Guys. I have seen many people complaining about slow charging speeds in our beloved RN7P. The charging just falls drastically after a certain temperature. This throttling is done by Xiaomi to prevent the device from overheating. But the threshold conditions are too strict.
Introducing V-Thermal:
It is an optimized charging profile for our device which gives faster charge speeds, is safer and battery friendly. It has been tested multiple times to ensure faster-charging speeds without overheating.
Steps to Install:
Open Magisk Manager and go to 'Modules'
Press '+' icon and select the file
Reboot the device
Done!
Note: The config has been thoroughly tested. But I am not responsible for any damage to your device.
Press Thanks if I helped you!

Bro. Don't worry. It will work fine. It is impossible for this module to cause bootloop, but you can still remove it through twrp if u do get boot issues. Its Magisk module. Easy to remove.
Its preety nice good work! Thanks!
So basically this module forces the device to charge @15W constantly instead of getting toned down to 12W and even as low as 8W after reaching a certain thermal range? Or it works differently because i still see mine getting toned down to 12W like usual.

Thermal profiles are not meant to force a constant charging rate. And charging rates are never constant. It goes up and down depending on your phone's temperature.

As mentioned by adrian, it's designed to extend your battery life while making the charging much faster, without harming the battery by maxing out the optimum temperatures ( i.e. A change in the default values)
