AOD question - Samsung Galaxy S10e Questions & Answers

Anyone else's s10e not display an AOD or anything other than a black screen when connected to a Bluetooth device? Specifically, when I'm in my vehicle, I can't see any notifications or AOD because it doesn't show. Only difference than anywhere else is that I'm connected to the radio via Bluetooth.

Nope
Any other clues you can give us?

Nope. Always on displays all the time... Except in the car. Not plugged in or anything, just connected via Bluetooth.

Maybe Medium battery optimization turns on which turns off AOD.

[Q] Wireless Charging Sound Notification

Anybody know a way to disable the Notification sound while charging?
At night I use the wireless charger, during the night it charges and by morning it loses a little charge and begins to recharge, when that happens it makes a notification sound. (which usually wakes me up)
one solution I found was to disable sound but then I might miss an important text/call, don't really want to do that.
I don't like being woken up by the beep either though.
Anybody know of a good solution to this? (besides turning off sound or not using the wireless charger).

Notifications while charging

I've found that the watch won't connect to Bluetooth while charging, hence no notifications. Is there any way to change this? I leave my phone in my office downstairs when I'm sleeping (I don't want to be bothered with a ringing and beeping phone while I'm sleeping) but I keep the charger next to my bed.
In the Samsung Gear app on your phone, under Settings > Notifications, do you have "Show only while wearing Gear" turned off?

Z3 Bluetooth problem

Hi!
I've got a Sony Xperia Z3.
I'd like to set my phone to be able to sent notifications to my Polar m400 smart sport watch.
If I turn the screen off, it notify with a sort beep and the screen don't show any information (e.g. who is calling). But when the screen is on, it works.
The mobile has 23.5.A.1.291 ROM.
The watch works good, I tested it with my Huawei P9. It connect via bluetooth to phone.
What do you think, what is the problem?
When the screen turn off, the bluetooth goes to sleep mode?
Thanks for the help in advance!

Calling Screen Bug

The proximity sensor is not positioned in the center and this make the display to turn on automatically if I move the phone slightly while I am on the call. The calling screen app is buggy, it will turn on the display automatically even if I press the power button to turn off the display while I am on the call. This issue still didn't get fixed in the latest update. I am so annoyed with the calling screen that I have to rely on earphones to make calls now. Any solution?

Question Automatic Weather Update

I can't get my weather complications or widget to automatically update. I can manually update the weather and it will automatically update if I am connected with WiFi but not with bluetooth. I have already set locations to be always on and the Samsung Wear app on the phone is set to not be optimized for battery. Anyone else have this issue and figured out what settings I need to change?

I too have noticed that my Samsung Watch 4 Classic weather app does not automatically update the temperature readings. This watch OS software seems to have bugs. I have it set to auto refresh every 1 hour. I have allow location always enabled. Tried rebooting watch several times and no fix. I have to manually update the weather app each time I want the current temperature reading. BAD! Another bug I notice is the watches speaker call volume is very very low. It seems to get stuck at a very low volume when I get a call and I can hardly hear the other party speaking! The watch dial shows the blue volume ring turned all the way up to max volume. Still low speaker volume on calls. BAD! They need to give us a software update to fix these quirks.

I fixed by issue by adding the Weather widget to one of my home screens. Once I did that, the weather on my phone auto updated.
