Notifications while charging - Samsung Gear S3

I've found that the watch won't connect to Bluetooth while charging, hence no notifications. Is there any way to change this? I leave my phone in my office downstairs when I'm sleeping (I don't want to be bothered with a ringing and beeping phone while I'm sleeping) but I keep the charger next to my bed.

In the Samsung Gear app on your phone, under Settings > Notifications, do you have "Show only while wearing Gear" turned off?

Call/Ringer profiles

I'm sure there is something out there that does this, but I can't seem to find it. Here's my situation. I turn my phone on silent every night before bed. I do this so that texts and email notifications don't wake me up. However, I would like calls to come through for emergency reasons and also for the alarm to be able to sound if set. When I wake up, I turn my phone back on vibrate so that I am alerted when I get new messages. Right now I'm just sleeping with it all on silent and hoping I don't need it. When I absolutely need the alarm, I have to mess with the settings to turn off email and text alerts. This seems too much to just turn off text & email alerts though. Is there any way I can save settings into a profile and just change profiles. One would be Night mode (calls & alarm on, notifications off) and Day mode (all on). Thanks for the help
I have a HTC Touch Pro by the way.
if i'm not mistaken you can use PhoneAlarm to set profiles for seperate services.

[Q] Wireless Charging Sound Notification

Anybody know a way to disable the Notification sound while charging?
At night I use the wireless charger, during the night it charges and by morning it loses a little charge and begins to recharge, when that happens it makes a notification sound. (which usually wakes me up)
one solution I found was to disable sound but then I might miss an important text/call, don't really want to do that.
I don't like being woken up by the beep either though.
Anybody know of a good solution to this? (besides turning off sound or not using the wireless charger).

Watch on charger muted?

Guys maybe you know this. When i put my Gear S2 Classic on the charger, all notifications arent working anymore. Especially when i use the 3th party app "Notifications for Gear S 1 & 2" (alternative for whatsapp which shows more messages then the original notifier). But somehow after putting the watch on the charger, and when you get it off again, the notifications doesnt work anymore. I didnt test this the orignal notifier, but when the watch is on the charger, does the watch get muted for all notifications (because you see no notifications after you removed it from the charger)?
Does the watch also get muted when its of the wrist? Does it sense when its of the wrist/charger?
nobody?

Wireless charging dock - phone rings, doesn't wake the screen

For the life of me I cannot find a setting to fix this.
I use a wireless charger for my S8+. When its time to sleep, I activate Do Not Disturb with only starred contacts allowed to ring through or get message notifications. So when work calls me at 3am, the phone rings like normal but the screen stays black......making it about impossible to answer in time (when you are trying to get stirred enough to talk when you DO answer).
Anyone familiar with where I need to look? :silly:

Question Persistent Bluetooth phone disconnect notice?

The watch has generates a small vibrate when it disconnects the Bluetooth from the phone but it is barely noticeable. Is there an app that can generate a persistent notification until it is cleared when the phone is out of range of the watch? Years ago I used an application called "Feel the wear" and it worked great on an old android watch. I found it in the playstore but doesn't seem to be compatible with the Galaxy Watch 4.
there is a setting in developer options that makes the watch vibrate when ever it disconnects from your phone. It's among the first items, you can't miss it. Vibrates for a second or two
Yeah I have it set to vibrate but it is so short, it easily goes unnoticed. The app "Fell the wear" was great on an older smart watch. It would vibrate and/or make noise until you cleared the message on the screen. It was great for those times, I accidently left my phone behind and didn't want it stolen.
