The watch has generates a small vibrate when it disconnects the Bluetooth from the phone but it is barely noticeable. Is there an app that can generate a persistent notification until it is cleared when the phone is out of range of the watch? Years ago I used an application called "Feel the wear" and it worked great on an old android watch. I found it in the playstore but doesn't seem to be compatible with the Galaxy Watch 4.
there is a setting in developer options that makes the watch vibrate when ever it disconnects from your phone. It's among the first items, you can't miss it. Vibrates for a second or two
Yeah I have it set to vibrate but it is so short, it easily goes unnoticed. The app "Fell the wear" was great on an older smart watch. It would vibrate and/or make noise until you cleared the message on the screen. It was great for those times, I accidently left my phone behind and didn't want it stolen.

Wallet case? Could be nfc reading nearby credit cards?
I have the same problem...it seems to be a bluetooth problem. When I turn off bluetooth the problem goes away. Turn off bluetooth see if i goes away. I am hunting for a solution.
my Bluetooth is off and I heard a beeping sound while I was texting. didn't know what it was either. wtf. so far only heard once.
Try turning NFC and payment off. Worked for me
beeping is increasing in frequency. NFC and Blutooth off. Help
You ever figure this out?
Mine doing it too. Have taken it back 3 times for diagnostics but nothing ever found. They replaced it with a refurb phone and the new one is doing the same thing. Could it be a bug transferred over from the old phone?
Is the beeping your notification tone, or just a 'generic beep'. Mine has started to 'notify' through either my standard tone or vibration when on silent, just as if it's a notification but there's nothing there or even in the log. Did you ever find a solution?
Mine has been doing it too. All apps off, wifi and Bluetooth off. Driving me crazy.
Can it be when it changes from "mute" to "sound"? I use an app for scheduling the phone to be muted. An when it turns to "sound" it always make a "beep" or something. Haven't found yet a way to stop that stupid beep (I've system sounds muted in system settings, but it won't go away).

Mine just started something similar the past few days. I have been randomly getting a notification sound, but there are no notifications to account for it. I have turned down the volume of notifications, but this random sound is still as loud as before and it is not the sound that is set for notifications, anyway. This is driving me crazy!
It's your NFC detecting your credit card. Happened to me when I had it in a wallet case and my credit card was next to it. Moment I removed it or turned off NFC, sound went away.
Go to settings;
NFC and payment
Turn off.. problem gaawn
My S6 is doing it but its not the notification tone. Its a high pitch beep. Had the phone for 18 months and never heard this beep till a month ago. And its getting more frequent.
My guess, Its an app you've installed. Backup your data and then factory reset it.
MY is doing the same thing. Driving me crazy. Notifying beep but nothing is on. HELP!!!!!!!!! Hate this phone!!!!!
I posted yesterday about the facebook app being unable to retain any notification sound I've set for it once the app has been stopped. Well, there is another issue on the same phone. It may be related - I'm not sure. This OS is Android 7.0 (Nougat). The symptoms are below.
Two-symptom issue:
1) The 'call end tone' (which sounds like a pingy "bloop") cannot be disabled. The toggle slider can be turned off at Dialer > Settings > Call Alerts > Call end tone, but the tone still fires after each call disconnect.
2) The 'call end tone' not only fires after every phone call disconnect. But strangely, it also fires after any notification sound from another app has fired. For example, when Tapatalk or Facebook fire off a new message alert notification sound, the call end tone fires immediately afterwards. I also notice that each time the call end tone fires, a slash mark momentarily appears through the speaker icon on the notification strip.
I've tried wiping the cache partition and, as mentioned, toggling off all call alert settings. But none of that has worked. And by the way, this is the installation of Nougat that was on my S7 edge when I received it back from Samsung's repair center a few weeks ago. I'm hoping to avoid doing a factory reset. It looks like that may be the next step, though. Any thoughts?
Okay, I was wrong. It's not the 'call end tone' that I'm hearing at all. Instead, it's the same sound that fires when you change from silent or vibrate mode to audible mode. That little "bloop" is what's firing after every notification sound. I've checked and it's the following file: /system/media/audio/ui/TW_Silent_mode_off.ogg ... I'm not rooted so I can't remove or rename it.
So that's why the 'call end tone' toggle slider under Call Alerts has no effect on the little "bloop" sound. I only thought it was the 'call end tone' because it always fires when a call disconnects. But it's apparently just doing the same thing it does when each notification sound fires. Whatever the root cause, upon each sound event it seems to send a signal to briefly mute the speaker (hence the slash mark across the speaker icon for a split-second) and then immediately un-mutes it again. But I have no clue why. I thought it might have something to do with SoundAssistant -which I installed several days ago- but uninstalling it makes no difference. So I'm stumped.
I'm open for any ideas. The 'bloop' after every notification sound and call disconnect is driving me nuts. I'll probably do a factory reset if no one can think of anything else.
I've identified the cause. It's an app that normalizes the ringtone level, called 'Disable Increasing Ring.' When I toggle off its normalization mode, the problem is gone. The reason I even installed the app is because of the forced ascending ring volume for incoming calls that's imposed by Android 7.0. In my view, there's simply no excuse for Google/Samsung not to provide users an option of whether or not they want ringtone streams to ascend from weak to a normal volume level. Forcing that sort of thing upon everyone seems ridiculous. And of course it caused this headache for me. But it's their system... so oh well.
For some reason, no matter what text or phone app I use, I receive visual notification banners at the top of my Android Auto screen but no audible notifications at all. I need to receive audible notifications of incoming texts and phone calls, so I can respond to them immediately. My phone stays in the central bin of my car, so I need to be able to respond by voice, not by physical interaction.
The phone automatically starts Do Not Disturb whilst connected to my car's bluetooth, or when connected to my Honda's Android Auto system.
It seems crazy to me that DND disallows audible notifications but allows banner notifications. After all, it is far more distracting to view and interact with a visual banner than it is to just listen to an audible notification and respond verbally.
Is there a way of disabling DND permanently whenever I connect to my car? If I try to turn it off when connected, the phone just re-enables it immediately.
@Scootmien,
No, DND is baked in to AA. There's no way to disable it. Package deal...

Crap. Oh well. It still seems silly to me that visual notifications come through but not audio ones.
So I guess that not even flashing another ROM onto the phone would sort it, as it's an AA thing.
Thanks for the reply.
@Scootmien,
No, a custom ROM won't change anything with AA. Here's a lengthy thread on the Google AA forum about your request > https://productforums.google.com/forum/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer#!topic/android-auto/twGRWEcrt7E;context-place=topicsearchin/android-auto/do$20not$20disturb
I've done a workaround using Tasker. When AA starts, wait four seconds, disable DND, wait four seconds, Disable AA again. No exit task.
Seems to work so far.
Hello everyone
I noticed that I'm having vibration issues with phone calls
Sometimes when I'm receiving a call the watch is vibrating in a pulse method
Different times it's vibrating once only
And lastly few times not vibrating at all
I tried restarting the watch but nothing has changed
Any idea how to solve this issue
I want it to vibrate in a pulse method for calls (not once)

I found a solution: I have the Huawei Watch 2.. and I noticed that I missed calls. So this really annoyed me as the watch only vibrated once.. of course it vibrates for other things and it is easy to just ignore it. It is a very poor implementation from Huawei ( amongst others). I struggled to find a solution from the watch itself. Wear OS is also utterly useless. It is just a mess.
=> the solution I found which works is to install this app from the google play store. It is free: Feel The Wear - Notifications TTS..install it both on the phone and the watch. Then go on the phone and set it to vibrate long for phone calls. Also in the beginning give it the permissions from the phone( toggle the permission on for this app), menu is given in the app itself when you open it. Thats it.. Tested..works.
Everytime I receive a call using either Instagram or Whatsapp my notifications and phone sounds go haywire after. Immediately after if I use the volume buttons on the side they control the audio for ringtone but not volume for anything else. All sounds are muffled and low or don't ring or make any sound at all. The only option is to restart the phone. So now I'm restarting the phone several times a day.
I've checked zen mode, its off. I've checked adaptive battery, that's not it. I've hard reset the phone 4 times and eventually loaded apps one by one until I found it to be happened with Whatsapp and Instagram. I'm not using the beta of either app.
I've had this issue from day one with this phone. I thought it was the phone, had it replaced within a week of getting it from TMO and its still continuing. This is strange, especially coming from a 6T. I'm at my wits end and ready to get rid of this thing. Anyone else come across this?
