[Q] Lock Screen not working on Android 5.0 with Root

Hi,
I'm using an unlocked Nexus 5, and flashed as soon as the factory image was released. I used CF-Autoroot to gain root access.
The problem that I'm having is that the lock screen does not work. This means that when I lock the phone (power button), it just fades to black, but when I hit the button again (either immediately, or after a wait), I go straight to where I was, the lock screen does not activate no matter what I do. I've tried letting it time out, still no luck.
When I restart the phone, it shows the lock screen, but sounds like something is trying to unlock the phone, and the phone then unlocks and doesn't lock again. I've tried disabling all Device Administrators, with no luck. I tried a factory reset and then a re-flash followed by another factory reset, and the problem still persists. I've also tried toggling Smart Lock on and off, still no change.
If I go to the security settings and re-select a Screen Lock mode, then the lock screen shows up again, but after I unlock, it goes away never to return.
This has been extremely frustrating, since Smart Lock was one of the features I was most looking forward to. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
The current Root apps that I use are:
1. SuperSU (obviously) 2.23 BETA
2. BusyBox Free
3. AutomateIt Pro
4. Greenify
5. Power Toggles
6. AdAway
7. Titanium Backup
Another note: After the factory-reset, wipe, flash, factory-reset that I did, I restored all non-system Apps and data with Titanium Backup. Just putting this here in case you guys know of any app that causes this problem.

Mine fixed itself after I manually installed the latest Google Play Services apk. Maybe try that and see if it works for you...

[Q] Huawei Ascend Y300 Every Partition is Mounted Read Only & Force Closing Apps

Hello there friends. I have a Huawei Ascend Y300-0100 Phone which is force closing Gapps, Keyboard app, Playstore and some others too.
It keeps popping the error and I can't do anything on it. Anyway I tried to restore the phone, I booted into recovery and chose Wipe and Factory Reset option, the operation was successful but when I booted the phone nothing was changed.
I tried to uninstall apps, I opened settings > App Manager and uninstalled some apps but on the next boot everything was back as it was.
So I decided I should unlock the bootlader and install TWRP maybe that will fix the problem. I got the code from Huawei website and the tools needed. I booted into Fastboot mode checked the bootloader it was locked.
I ran Unlock bootloader and put the 16 digit code in. It showed OKAY and reset the phone. I checked again and the bootloader was still locked.
So I downloaded the Official Firmware, extracted into memory card, put the mmc into the phone. Tried to go into software mode.
In the Software mode the phone shows this error. Update Exception: EMMC is readonly.
I have ran out of options and don't know what to do now. Please can somebody help me out. Thank you
Bump. Please any one?

Help - Stuck at checking for updates after factory reset got failed

Hey guys, i am stuck at checking for updates screen on BKL-L09. I was on stock EMUI, i did a factory reset and it went up to more or less 45% and failed. however it booted back to setup wizard and connected to WiFi and then the screen is stuck at checking for updates forever.
Solutions that havent worked
1. can not skip set up wizard because it needs me to verify google account
2. can get into bootloader with Volume down and cable method but unfortunately OEM unlock is not enable so unable to flash stock img
3. can not reboot to recovery. When tried, it takes me to erecovery and there it connects to wifi but doesnt download anything.
Any help will be appreciated guys, thanks a lot.
If anybody is in Bengaluru, can you tell me how does Huwei service center treat unlocked View 10?
