[Q] Huawei Ascend Y300 Every Partition is Mounted Read Only & Force Closing Apps - General Questions and Answers

Hello there friends. I have a Huawei Ascend Y300-0100 Phone which is force closing Gapps, Keyboard app, Playstore and some others too.
It keeps popping the error and I can't do anything on it. Anyway I tried to restore the phone, I booted into recovery and chose Wipe and Factory Reset option, the operation was successful but when I booted the phone nothing was changed.
I tried to uninstall apps, I opened settings > App Manager and uninstalled some apps but on the next boot everything was back as it was.
So I decided I should unlock the bootlader and install TWRP maybe that will fix the problem. I got the code from Huawei website and the tools needed. I booted into Fastboot mode checked the bootloader it was locked.
I ran Unlock bootloader and put the 16 digit code in. It showed OKAY and reset the phone. I checked again and the bootloader was still locked.
So I downloaded the Official Firmware, extracted into memory card, put the mmc into the phone. Tried to go into software mode.
In the Software mode the phone shows this error. Update Exception: EMMC is readonly.
I have ran out of options and don't know what to do now. Please can somebody help me out. Thank you

Bump. Please any one?

[Completed] [Q] Huawei G510 keeps rebooting and TWRP not working

Hi guys, my sister has this phone and she has the following problem: the phone keeps crashing just after inserting the PIN (it says that the process.gapps or process.swiftkey has stopped working). We don't even have time to reach settings. I went in recovery mode (TWRP 2.8.0.0) and wiped data, system, etc, but after the reboot I noticed that the phone was in the exact same state it was before factory reset! Flashing a new ROM is not working either. I tried to change and downgrade recovery, but nothing. I also tried Original Firmware and Vol+, Vol-, Power, but it says
"update exception
emmc is readonly, you can't update your system"
Any suggestion? ADB does not find it in fastboot mode.
Hi, thank you fur using XDA Assist. There seems there are a number of variants of your phone so I don't know if this will work, but try this,http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2452430

[Completed] My Huawei G610 is in an endless reboot loop and I have tried everything

I have a Huawei G610 with andrioid Jellybean as an OS. I have done no roots or mods and from the past 4 days it works for 30sec then it restarts again.
I enabled safe mode and it still restarted so I am not sure if its a virus. I did the vol up+power button thing and entered the recovery options and wiped the cache partition and nothing happened. I tried uninstalling apps and once it restarted the app was back again. I wanted to remove my lock so I removed my pattern and when it restarted it was back. Finally I took out my SD card and went to recovery mode and did a factory data reset. IT DIDNT WORK!Everything was back to normal, my apps which werent moved to my SD were still there and my pattern was still there. I tried it again and it still didnt work.
Please help guys, I live in a region where actual customer services is absolute crap.
I asked this on Reddit and someone recommended me this website so please help!

Hey everyone. So,today i wanted to root my Huawei Y5 because of a sound problem and it all went well (Rooted with KingRoot)...Here is the problem...After a restart my phone went straight into recovery,i connected it to pc asap to use adb but it won”t detect the phone I can”t find any newer firmwares on the internet and the other dload.app simply don”t work because i have a newer build (Tue Nov 24 22:57:09 CST 2015).Also i have to mention that bootloader is still locked.Could someone kindly help me? (Sorry for my bad English)
how did you manage to root without unlocking bootloader? and by the way, try clearing cache and dalvik cache

I just installed KingRoot and it rooted...Everything was fine then i restarted to see if root is permanent or not..I restarted and all my phone does is go straight into recovery and nothing else...I can only use ADB Sideload by pressing on ''apply update from adb''... I also clicked on ''reboot to bootloader'',it restarts and puts me into Huawei Logo and it just stay's there (Phone won't appear in adb,but it shows on device manager).I also tried to install the stock firmware but it say's that my actual version is newer than old one (a update came 1 week ago on my phone,in options).
All i wanted to do is install xposed to remove the volume too high warn when inserting headphones because it would bug on 50% and the warn would dissapear and wouldn't show again. (Tried to delete dalvik and cache and still the same)
rebooting to bootloader boots your device into Fastboot mode. it is normal that only the huawei logo shows up there! Just force reboot it!

Looking for community wisdom - mi note 3 stuck and need to recover data

Hi,
I have a mi note 3, with global ROM. Yesterday, it received an OTA upgrade to 10.4.2.0, and immediately after the install, when the phone booted, it started showing errors about Find My device crashing. I managed to enable developer mode (this phone was unrooted and stock recovery with locked bootloader) and using adb I could stop the find my device crash by removing the package (so it wouldn't reboot) and backup about half of its contents. It did reboot though, and then It just would not boot at all to the system and would just keep boot looping (i never got the home screen).
Having tried a few things with ADB, I decided to do something a bit more drastic and I used ADB sideload to install the same ROM again using the recovery mi assistant option. That worked but still the phone wouldn't boot, so I decided to erase user-data (which according to the xiaomiadb does remove all apps but not pictures and all other stuff). Then the phone did boot, but It got stuck again, this time on the android setup screen where it says something like 'wait a second while we setup your device...' and getting again the same error about Find My Device crashing.
Is there any hope on recovering the data in the phone? I had two ideas but I have no idea if they are stupid or if they have any chance of working:
1-. Unlock bootloader using the Xiaomi app, in fastboot, but instead of rebooting, after unlocking using fastboot to load twrp and then trying to save the data via twrp
2-. Wait for another global rom update, apply that via recovery and see if it does fix the issue with Find My Device
Is any of those ideas realistic? If not, is there any chance to save the data from the phone? even if it implies opening it and so?
Thanks!
The first option seems extremely risky, unlocking the bootloader will format all data - maybe before reboot. The second needs patience, most probably that was the last miui 10 stable. Don't you have a miui account? Most of your stuff is there, you could login from your browser and check it out.
Thanks dpikros. Yes, I have access to the mi account, but I never trusted mi cloud with my data, so I had all sync to mi cloud disabled unfortunately.
I tried installing the previous MIUI, but it's based on Android 8.1 and the sideload won't allow me to use it. I think same will happen with developer ROM.
Does anybody know if the data format happens before or after reboot when unlocking? I was thinking, unlock bootloader and then use fastboot to boot the twrp image (without even flashing it) but not sure if the Xiaomi unlock app will automatically reboot the phone or if it will somehow delete if from unlock directly.
Thanks

I cannot make a password, a fingerprint or delete an app. Please Help!!

(my phone is huawei gr5 2017 but didnt find the forum and figured out honor 6x is the same name)
Hello, i unlocked my bootloader and made a mistake flashing the trwp recovery into my boot image didnt know what to do for a day, obviously i kept factory resetting from twrp hoping to fix it, later on i found a boot img for my nuild number here on xda and it worked but now whenever i try to uninstall an app my phone restarts, when i try to make a pin or a fingerptint the settings keeps on crashing and developer options also crash when i try to open it any fixes please would be really helpfull
my Build number is: BLL-L21C185B386.
Uptade: i solved it and heres how if anyone have the same problem, I relocked the bootloader then booted my phone, it booted into my stock recovery and said that data partions are severly damaged and i have to format it so i did then it made me download of what i think is the stock firmware after download and installation it booted into the system with no problems fingerprints and pins are working like before.
