[Q] Nexus 5 stuck on boot animation, can't unlock

Hi everyone,
I have a Nexus 5 that, up until recently, was unlocked and rooted. However, my power button started giving me issues, and after looking around online I determined it was a hardware issue. My phone is still within the warranty period, so I decided to unroot, re-lock, and reset the warranty flags. To do so, I used WugFresh's Nexus Root Toolkit. This seemed to work fine.
However, later on my battery died while I was out away from home. When I plugged it in overnight to charge, I woke up to find that it was stuck on the flying dots boot animation. I haven't been able to get it to start up since then.
All the solutions I find require flashing a custom recovery, or the factory image. However, I can do neither, since my bootloader is now locked.
I've also tried re-unlocking the bootloader using both the NRT and the manual method described here. The final reboot never progresses past the flying dots animation, and when I hard reset and relaunch into fastboot mode, it tells me that the bootloader is still locked.
As an alternative, I tried booting into recovery mode/recovery menu and doing a factory data reset there. I get the following error messages:
Code:
E: failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cache/recover/log
... and so on for every folder it tries to access on the cache partition. Afterwards, when I reboot, same problem. Flying dots and that's it.
Note regarding all of the above: in each case I've tried to let the boot animation run for as long as possible just to make sure. At minimum, I've let each method go for at least an hour and a half, but it never progresses any further.
So. How screwed am I? Does anybody have a solution to get my phone working again?
You can still try to flash to stock image with Julian OS tool (script)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/goo...o-flash-5-0-lrx21o-flash-5-0-n5-tool-t2957801
This script unlocks your bootloader, flashes os 5.0/5.01 and relocks your bootloader, all within 2 minutes. I have tried it and it works fine. At the end you have a stock unrooted device.

Bootlooping with FRP

My now ex girlfriend returned me the phone I bought her and had FRP enabled since she reset it with hardware keys. I tried a few things, and now it is bootlooping, so the normal FRP bypass options I'm aware of won't work. However, I still have access to Download Mode and the Stock Recovery. Is there anything I can do to get this thing back to it's bootable state, even with FRP enabled?
I have the same situation, have you ever tried this method?

S7 stuck with EFS lock and FRP lock

Hi Guys,
My relative has a stock Australian S7 SM-G930F which has an issue trying to boot, it was running standard optus firmware and just stopped working one day, stuck at samsung screen.
So I tried to perform a factory reset from recovery and still same issue it cannot access the EFS partition.
So I go to try to load a stock firmware and same issue.
I found this article which looks like it should restore access to the EFS partition https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/how-to-fix-efailed-to-mount-efs-invalid-t2858056 but whenever I try to load a custom recovery I get FRP lock so it looks like from my reading I am stuck and my relative now has a flashy brick?
Cannot seem to get ADB to work I assume because it has never had USB debugging enabled.
It has never been rooted, custom firmware or anything.
The only thing that works is download mode with ODIN. But since EFS is corrupted/inaccessible and FRP is locked I don't see a solution.
Anyone come across this issue before and how to solve?
It is not under warranty and is slightly damaged so not worth sending back for repair.
Same case
Exactly the same case with me. My device stuck on "Galaxy S7 logo", when I tried to enter recovery mode , got message failed to mount /efs, already tried to flashing with original rom, but still the same.
Then I tried to install twrp, but I got FRP locked.
If anyone can help us maybe there's some steps that I've missed

Bricked my G930W8

So i've had a rough couple of days with my S7. It all started when I used fdisk on /dev/block/sda thinking it was my usb. The phone froze and so it rebooted it, i would bring me directly to the download screen where i was able to install twrp.
Then I had problems with the /efs/ folder mounting, and like a noodle, i wiped it without a backup. So once i booted the phone. I had no service provider. I spent all day trying to figure that out.
Next I tried to install my stock firmware which always worked in the past. At this point i kept getting "dm-verifty" errors. TWRP bypassed it so i tried to flash it again, only to notice FRP lock was turned on on it's own. So let me sum it up.
I can't boot with stock firmware, i tried multiple all leading to "dm-verity error" "No DRK"
I can't install TWRP because FRP is ON.
Even if i figure this out, i have to deal with my imei and efs problems after. I read about Combination but Odin seems to refuse it.
I haven't even had the phone for a month so I may be able to return it but i doubt it because my void is 1 (0x500), which looks bad so..
If anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it, thanks in advance.

FRP Locked, Bricked Honor 8 FRD-L14

Hello Guys,
I'm back again (I posted about this issue about 6-9 months ago, a couple users tried their best to help me with it, since than I haven't had any time to fix this issue).
History:
1. Brand new FRD-L14, bought the phone, used it for 1/2 day, fell, cracked screen, replaced it.
2. The phone worked there after, but the OS read "NRM-Test Keys", anyways since I had TWRP installed at that time, tried several different roll backs and such to install a full OS, never worked
3. I did encounter a problem where the fastboot screen would read "PHone Unlocked", but "FRP Locked", at which time I was unable to install anything the error when going through Adb/Fastboot would be "Error: Command No Allowed", a experienced user here did fix it remotely for me, no idea how, but anyways it worked, so back to #2
4. Now the phone has FRP Locked again. So I can get into fastboot, and stock recovery (which doesn't work, states device is unsupported), cannot instal TWRP as FRP is locked
What I need help with is to get rid of this dam FRP Locked issue. I don't understand why it keeps coming back despite me not logging in/putting in credentials when I install the OS.
As I am in the US, Huawei has no authorized repair centers. What a waste!
Any help or suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
