Need help with Bricked 6x. BLN-L24 - Honor 6X Questions & Answers

Hi Folks. I need some help with my Honor 6x. It seems to be bricked pretty badly.
FRP: Locked.
Bootloader / Phone: Locked
Here is what works: Fastboot
Details: Started when I replaced a broken LCD screen. The new screen looks great however the phone bootloops at the blue Honor6 screen. I can't access dload, recovery or ERecovery. I have never unlocked the bootloader so I don't have a code for that and it looks like they aren't giving it out anymore.
I just tested with the old cracked screen and it looks like it is booting ok. However, I can't navigate menus or see anything at all with the cracked screen. Maybe I have a bad screen? Just seems odd it displays ok in fastboot and during the Honor splash screen.
What options do I have here to get this working? Can I flash a stock image using fastboot with everything locked? If so, how do I go about doing it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Pretty sure that "Hard-Brick" is related to the hardware. And what you're trying to do is fix a Software Brick. In any case, did you replace the screen yourself? Your best bet is to take it to official service center. It's an issue of incompatible display drivers. Replace the screen with the broken one and go to the nearest service center. Good luck

Nexus 5 Can Access Fastboot but Blank Screen Otherwise.

Hello everyone. I recently purchased a Nexus 5, and it's a great phone. However, today when I was trying to turn it on the phone simply wouldn't turn on. I figured out that it actually was turning on, but the screen was blank. The backlight was lit, but it was black. The bootloader is locked, and when I try to unlock it the screen goes blank again. I was trying to flash stock android on it to see if that would help, but alas it hasn't so far because I can't get the bootloader unlocked. I was using this thread,http://forum.xda-developers.com/goo...ide-nexus-5-how-to-unlock-bootloader-t2507905, to try to unlock the bootloader. Basically, I downloaded all the stuff he said to download and followed the guide. I was able to get my CMD to say the bootloader process finished unlocking, but when I do fastboot reboot the screen stays blank and the computer doesn't pick it back up to reboot it. This is a really weird issue, and I was just wondering if anyone could possibly assist me with it. Also, sorry for the minor wall of text, but I didn't know how else to describe it.
Thanks!

Try to reflash stock rom with lg flashtool. Link in my signature. If you have D820 32GB then you can use the converted tot file. It was tested 3-4 times by others and I havent got any negative feedback about it.

Nexus 5 bootloop

Hello guys, I need some help for my Nexus 5. It starts up, arrives in google logo and then it starts again. I'm able to access the bootloader and I'm able to unlock it. The big problem comes up when I try (with nexus toolkit) to flash a new firmware. The process starts flashing the bootloader and I get a "Failed" message, so the phone restarts and after that the bootloader goes back to locked. Of course with a locked bootloader I get a "Failed" message for every single part it is flashing. I'm able to install a safe TWRP recovery that disappears when I restart the phone.
I don't know how to fix my Nexus 5.
Can anybody help me, please?
I will be really thankful...
Ps I'm sorry for my bad english, I hope everything is understandable!
If the bootloader re-locks by itself, sounds like the internal memory is damaged. Unfortuantely, the memory cannot be replaced. I had a phone that did exactly the same thing. I replaced only the motherboard and everything is fine again.

Thank you for your answer. Can I ask were you have found a new motherboard? I was looking for it but I wasn't able to find anything.
I looked for a used phone with a smashed screen. I approached LG about buying a new motherboard and they had none for sale.

Pixel stuck in bootloader loop and unable to boot in recovery

As per title, it just happened while I was using the phone while charging. Trying my luck as I'm not in the country(Australia) that I bought my Pixel from. Grateful for any suggestion that the sub can provide. Non rooted stock rom
You're only able to get into bootloader and that's all? I would suggest unlock the bootloader, a factory reset will follow. Try rebooting after that. If that doesn't work, at least your unlocked and you can fastboot boot twrp and reset that way or flash a stock rom. If nothing works you "may" have a defective device. I'm no expert but I would try those things first.
Yes only bootloader. What you have mentioned do not require recovery mode right ? Cos I can't boot into it. Thanks for your reply

The bootloader would have needed to have been unlocked already.

no it doesnt, I suggested unlocking the bootloader first, that way it factory resets. this might fix the problem, if not its unlocked so he can flash the factory image.
Bump? I'm having this problem as well.
Same here. How would we unlock the bootloader of the phone when it's stuck in either a Google screen the reboots over and over again, or the bootloader interface (that won't load recovery)? Sorry about the noob question, but I'm not sure how to do it.

I'm having the same issue. My wife's Pixel entered a continuous boot loop today. It only loads the white screen that says "Google." I can enter the bootloader, but when I select "recover," it goes back to the bootloop. As far as I know, she is on Android 8.1, debugging mode is off and the phone is 100% factory.
If anyone has solved this issue, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
has anyone figured this out?? this happened to me today, i was using the phone, the poof it restarted itself and stayed in a boot loop. i can get into the recovery, i tried wipe/factory reset. any suggestions? google told me i need to send it to whatever company to get it fixed or get a new phone. verizon told me to go through insurance. insurance told me to go through verizon because i may be able to use the extended warranty. went back to verizon but they wont take it because the screen cracked a year ago. its not a deep crack and it didnt affect the phone at all, never had an issue. so now i go back to assurion and now they need an affidavit about my screen being cracked. im at a loss.... i havent rooted a phone since my droid x, then s3 days. so im essentially new again!
Same issue here. Phone starts on the bootloader (shows device is locked), but won't start recovery or boot any further.
I'm guessing it's time for a new phone? I hadn't taken the Android 10 update yet, so it was running Pie.
[edit] it's dead - won't let me unlock bootloader or switch boot slots

I had the same thing happen yesterday (not long after the Android 10 update). I was finally able to get it to boot after multiple tries and it stayed up long enough for me to enable "OEM unlocking" in Developer options. Now at least I have the option of unlocking the bootloader and re-flashing the OS with an image directly from Google.
Has anyone been able to get past this problem by reflashing the image? I suspect the underlying problem is some kind of hardware fault with eMMC, DDR, or the SOC itself.
One other interesting behavior I noticed is that the only way to shut it down and stop the bootloop is to select the "Power off" option in the bootloader menu. However, if I plug it in to charge when it is fully powered "off", it will start up the bootloop again.
Same sitution here. A couple of days after installaing it suddenly went inte a G-bootloop frenzy.
Erratic though, sometimes I could boot up (2-3/40 boots) but then it froze and started again.
Also Recovery and Safemode is very hard to get into.
Got in once or twice out of 100 boots, Bootloader Fastboot is generally reachable though.
It exhausted the battery and now I'm holding off trying to interfere, until I get more info off the net.

Unresponsive black screen after flashing TWRP

Hi,
I tried to flash TWRP's latest version from TWRP Manager app. The application led me to reboot my phone. After rebooting it, I got black screen. Unable to boot fastboot or recovery. The computer does not recognize the phone. Even LED does not light up when the phone put charging. I might have hard bricked the device.
Any ideas?
press power + vol+, until it vibrates 3 times
pressed both buttons for 120 secs nothing happened.
are you completely sure you selected "xperia xz" and not any other device?
does the led blink 3 times red when attempting to boot? that was a indicator of a hard brick for my z or z3
I dont remember any option on TWRP to select the device. So i am not sure if I selected the right model. I only selected te latest version and flashed it to recovery.
The phone does not blink or response to anything.
i just downloaded the app from the play store and it makes me select my device and that's how i remember it from a week ago or so. maybe pressed too fast without looking? that's the only explanation i have, but maybe our dear friend from rhineland-palatinate has the answer
the blinking led when hard bricked could have been removed, as i noticed this behavior with my z or z3 when accidentally flashing twrp for a s3
edit: sounds like you just made yourself an expensive paperweight but when i sent it in to have it repaired, it was somehow covered and only cost shipping and because the mainboard was broken they couldn't see that the bootloader was unlocked. of course i didn't say that it was and that i attempted to flash a recovery for a different device
edit2: that was 2 years ago or so and might have completely changed since then. also, as i am based in germany, i can only speak about what i have experienced with the german repair center sony recommends which means it can be handled differently in your country and even depending on where you send it to
have you tried with flashtool to flash a new firmware?
if this doesn't work, try emma from here:
https://developer.sonymobile.com/open-devices/flash-tool/how-to-download-and-install-the-flash-tool/
@Magic-Fabi I really can't understand how a mainboard could be broken when you just simply work on recovery partition. The most weird thing is after flashing the recovery via application, the phone operates fine. All the thing started when I just tried to boot into recovery. The phone was bought in UK and I live in Istanbul. So I'll be calling Sony Turkey tomorrow morning to check if the warranty valid in Turkey. The last think I wanted is to have an expensive paperweight
@MysticEnforcer I had tried it too. But since my computers doesn't recognise the phone in any way, Emma failed too.
No solution for this one then? I got a similar problem.
I can boot into the bootloader.
I can boot into Android
I can flash TWRP as revovery.
But when I boot into recovery all I get is a black screen.
Finally figured it out for myself:
TWRP only shows a black screen
After installing TWRP all I get is a black screen. Any idea why? Here is what I did so far: Bootloader unlocked: I have unlocked the bootloader as described >fastboot oem unlock 0xXXXXXXXXXXXX OKAY [123.312s] Finished. Total time: 123.312s And...

Zenfone Max Plus stuck at loading screen

Please help. I've taken my phone to a repair shop to fix the charging port and now it's stuck at the "POWERED BY android" screen. I think they might've done something to it but I don't have any proof and I'd honestly prefer if I can repair it myself.
I've not modified my phone in any way. I'm a normal user without much technical skills to speak of. I at least know how to go to recovery mode, but when I try to access that the screen just says "Red State. Your device has failed verification and may not work properly. Your device will boot in 5 seconds."
Fastboot doesn't work either. The screen just freezes up. What do I do?

It seems like the people there managed to unlock the bootloader, probably did some screw ups (like cramming the wrong ROM for it) and did things half-baked by giving back the device (won't be surprised if that could be some method to scam you and get more money out of your wallet).
As of that screen, i found this guide about it (props to the author btw)-
but sadly it isn't for this specific device and the ZenDesk page for it must be something of different- maybe a link like this one
