Need someone to make me a titanium backup of my logged in snapchat and send! thanks - General Questions and Answers

I am on xposed with supersu/twrp 7.1.1 on oneplus 3t and I used an old rooted phone to transfer my logged in session to the device in order to bypass the root block, I was notified the other day after months of regular use that my account would be locked for "3rd party apps". After my account unlocked I tried restoring snapchat using the backup file on my oneplus but it no longer works and I dont have access to the old rooted phone I made the backup on. Bluestacks doesnt work either for making a backup because I can't even log in
I know magisk is the solution to this but I dont have the time or patience to unroot my phone and redo it, just dont want anymore problems.
Could someone please log into my account, create a full app+data backup of the app and send it to me? I know it's risky giving out my snap info but I can't use the app at all right now anyway, please can someone with integrity and generosity help me out??

Backing Up App Data

Does anyone know how to backup data for an app that has backup disabled for it? I'm trying to backup snapchat through helium however I can't, as snapchat has backup for it disabled. I'm basically trying to backup snapchat so that I can backup the login token, and move it to another rooted phone; that way I can be logged into snapchat on two phones.

Did you ever figure this out?
Would a nandroid backup work?

I just looked into this, and a nandroid backup requires root. I am attempting to backup the snapchat app data without rooting my phone.
I can't do an adb backup either, because snapchat has ALLOW_BACKUP set to "no", in its Manifest file.
I don't recall exactly how I did it, but I changed the ALLOW_BACKUP in the Manifest file to "yes", and after that I was able to login to snapchat and backup the app data so that I can be logged in on multiple phones. However the issue with this is that the snapchat is practically unusable on my non-rooted phone because I modified the apk file.
I'm not too sure on the technical aspect of how apk's work, but I believe because I didn't sign the apk using whatever signature snapchat uses, it results in the snapchat app being unable. It's unusable in the sense that I can't take pictures on it. However I am able to login to my snapchat, text others, and view other peoples' snapchats.
Actually root is not required. See the following...
https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/28296/full-backup-of-non-rooted-devices
However, I saw on a different thread that if an app doesn't its private data backed up, you have no recourse. I suspect snapchat falls into that category. Anyhow, with a nandroid backup, I believe if you want to recover, you have to do it whole device (can't selectively restore individual app data). So that would be pointless anyhow.

What I ended up doing was installing Snapchat on Bluestacks, rooting, and then backing it up with Titanium Backup.

You were never able to use the same login token on a non-rooted phone though right, by doing the bluestacks thing?

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. Are you asking if I was able to reuse the same backup multiple times? If so, I haven't tried, but you could probably unroot or uninstall Bluestacks and repeat the process.

Google backup fails on Nexus 5

Hi guys.
Sorry in advance in case of double thread, I looked around but didn't find anything similar.
Recently my Nexus 5 sends me this daily alert: "backup failed. It's been 3 days since last backup". If I click on this notice, it sends me to the backup settings page, and starts a new backup attempt that freezes at the very first step.
Every setting seems correct to me, and I'm at my wit's end.
I am waiting for a new device, so it would be great updating my data backup, so I could restore everything in my new phone simply by logging with my Google account.
I can send screenshots, but they're in Italian.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you all.
take Titanium backup always works. 1st try Syncing the account like app data and stuff then manually backup!
Thanx for your suggestion. I should root the device in order to use Titanium, right?
Anyway, I woud like to undertsand what's wrong in Google backup anyway, if anyone else can help.

Titanium backup can't transfer user data / login details

Hi,
I've broken my Xiaomi Mi 9 and need to transfer one app in particular before I send it off for repair.
The app in question is the Starling banking app, which is currently logged in on my device, I no longer have the login details so need to be able to backup and restore on another device without having to login.
I'm restoring on a bluestacks device and it isn't working, only restoring the app, and then it hangs on the loading screen. I have backedup and trying to restore app with user data.
I've emailed Titanium support a month ago but they haven't replied!
Can anyone help?

I'd start with OnePlus' official app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oneplus.backuprestore
I'm sure there's other 3rd party solutions out there.
Here's a couple of lists to peruse:
https://www.tomsguide.com/us/pictures-story/633-best-android-backup-apps.html
https://www.androidauthority.com/best-android-backup-apps-and-other-ways-too-608014/
I myself don't backup anything other than my Google account/apps, but, it makes sense to use the mfgs own tool & wouldn't hurt to use others as well, see which method(s) do the best job.
Problem with OnePlus switch is that it takes backup locally. What if I need to install a custom ROM and then restore my backup ? How can I do that as I have to factory reset my phone for it.
Have you followed this guide for fixing Android backup?
https://www.xda-developers.com/android-backup-google-drive-broken-how-to-fix-manager/
Just so you know, it can take some time before the backups succeeds after applying this. For me it succeeded one day later.
I used to use titanium backup but when I got on OnePlus 7 pro titanium would stop working when restoring so I switched to swift backup and it works really smooth and just the other day I did my first restore from swift (with root permissions) and it did really well getting accounts logged back into and everything. I only had a few trouble apps that I had to clear data and re-log into but otherwise went unexpectedly smooth
Sent from my OnePlus7Pro using XDA Labs
Migrate does the trick easily.
