Softbricked - Bootloop (TOR isn't fixing) - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

Hi,
After my battery totally discharged, by cellphone entered in a bootloop. I can't acess anything besides download mode. I did try to flash the latest OS for my device (previously I was with 7.0 ) with tor. It did suceed, but after I flashed it didn't even install the OS, went straight back to bootloop. Is there anything that I can still try?
Thanks!

[Q] Samsung admire (MetroPCS) Hard brick by Clockworkmod?

(Well, this is embarrassing.)
(yes, I read older threads before making this.)
I recently rooted my admire; I decided to install rom manager and Busybox, however, when rom manager was installed (I figured that I could get flashed roms) When I begun to install CWM recovery 7.0.3 from rom manager, i chose "other". It installed, and it told me to reboot. So, i turned it off and was going to turn it back on. Nothing. Recovery mode, Download mode. Nothing. Phone stays off, never turns back on, as if it was dead. I'm not sure if it did enter DL mode, because I heard that it would still be in download mode, even if the screen was off. My battery still charges(?) when i plug it in. (The battery heats up, no charging screen, or boot.) Any fix?
To recap; Samsung admire. Rooted recently. Root manager installed. Cwm recovery 7.0.3 downloaded. Installed. Tried to reboot. Hard brick.

[Q] Bootloop and everything lost

Here goes: I was a happy OPO user using the latest crDroid ROM and AK kernel, when suddenly my phone entered the sleep of death. I turned it off and back on, and since then it is in an eternal boot loop, never going beyond the Oneplus logo.
I am able to get into fastboot mode as well as recovery mode (I am using Philz Recovery), however, here is where it gets weird. I was hoping to just flash another ROM from the recovery and fix the problem, but all my files and folders on the SD card are gone, almost as if the chip died.
I also tried flashing a different ROM using ADB, to no avail. ADB shows "OK" but nothing sticks. All I can successfully flash are the boot logo and the recovery. The phone never gets beyond the logo before it reboots.
Does anyone have an idea what else I could try? I feel like sending it back for a replacement, but I am afraid that this will take forever.
Do you have a OTG USB stick ? Maybe you can flash from there.
I was able to get my phone to boot using this:

All data is gone though. But at least I don't have a brick any more.

[Q] Asus TF300T boot loop CM11/OMNIROM logos

(backstory) Hi, ive had an Asus TF300T, for about 3 years now, unlocked, rooted it pretty early on... cycled between cyanogenmod and omnirom quite a bit, without really any major issues. Until today, i was running Cyanogenmods latest nightly build (CM11 Nov 5 2014), it worked just as any other nightly does a few bugs here and there, but nothing major and i hadn't done any major flashing or modding to the device. On my home from university, I turned my tablet off. And when i got home i plugged in the charger, and just as always the tablet turned on, showed the stock Asus screen, then changed to the Android boot animation... the animation then suddenly froze, and the device went into a boot loop... continuously... I dont know whats weong with it... tried to do a factory reset, i tried reinstalling the ROM, tried installing omnirom, but that got stuck on the OmniRom animation...
Im running Asus build 10.6.1.27.5
I had TWRP v2.7.0.1 installed but have now no longer works
id really hope there is a solution for this!
Thanks!
Edit: I dont know why, but when i try using fastboot or adb, the device isnt recognized. It doesnt show up on device manager either. I dont know if its the cable cause i bought it new, it says its can sync data, or a faulty charge/sync port....

^THIS!
I was just to open a similar thread, then i saw your post. I join your request for help!
A month ago i have done a favor to a friend by unlocking his tf300t and installing CM11 on it. A few days ago he comes to me with this problem. I've tried anything but still no success:
- restore a backup done before flashing CM11 --> restore ends correctly but the problem remains
- flash a rom (CM11 and OmniRom) --> flash ends correctly but the problem remains
- flash the stock firmware found on asus website (WW_epad-user-10.6.1.27.5.zip, the SKU is correct for my version) --> the flash process stuck (i had to force restart the tablet after almost 2 hours of "flashing")
Since the boot animation changes according to the rom, i suppose the flashing process works. But the problem remains: after a few seconds the animation freeze and the device restarts, in loop.
Informations on the system:
- build 10.6.1.27.5
- TWRP v2.7.0.1 (working!)
- adb works (i managed to set /data as rw and push the .zip file to flash)
- fastboot should work
Please help! I feel a bit responsible for bricking my friend's device
SOLVED!
Finally!
I had already tried this method, before requesting for help, but the first time didn't worked... I don't know why this evening the tablet decided to collaborate:

That worked for me! :victory:

S6 stuck in bootloop with no access to my laptop. I just need to completly shutdown

I have a G920T on a custom ROM. I flashed a new ROM and got stuck in a bootloop. Since I'm out of town on business, I only have a work computer and cant download odin. I either need to shut the phone down completely without waiting for the battery to die, or figure out how to enter twrp. I can get into download mode but, again I have no access to my personal laptop. Please Help...

Bootloop Twrp

Hi, I've got an Honor 9 with unlocked bootloader and everything, today I was trying to change version of the Twrp because the one I had gave me some problems. So I decided for an older version ( "stf-twrp-zxz-0.2.img" found here), I flashed it and rebooted, but it freezed with the Teamwin logo and whatever combination of buttons I try to shut it down it keep booting in recovery, ending stuck in that situation. Thank you for your time.
P.S. If I connect the phone with a computer adb recognize the device and works fine, but I don't know how to handle it.
