O dear thanks. R.
Since Feb 13th there's a new UMI Z ROM Update!
UMI Z.V3.01_20170213
According to the Umidigi Forum following should have changed:
- Inverted gyroscope issue seems to be fixed. This means the Google Camera app now does Panoramas and Photo Spheres just fine. Haven't tested any VR stuff.
- There's a new icon in the notification bar to turn Hotspot on and off.
- Improved Finger Print which should now react faster and more apps should be supported
- 4G seems to be more stable
- Bluetooth seems to be also more reliable
Still Marshmallow and no new Google security fixes.
No SPF Download available so far, only OTA.
Question: I can download the OTA Update although the phone is rooted. Will the update destroy my root or will it fail because I have no stock recovery?
Cheers,
PyroX
Update:
From Umidigi Forum:
Here's the official changelog:
1. add "double tap" wake up screen funtion
2. battery life optimized (fixed the battery drain problem)
3. fix problem of Gyroscope issue

5. finger print issue fixed
6. optimized screen touch sensitive
Both the SP Flash Tool release and the OTA update file will be shared in the
Last update
For those who have rooted the phone, unroot and reflashing original recovery *should* enable OTA updates, but I was getting an error during the flashing process in original recovery (probably due to SuperSU or Xposed modifying system partition). You can flash from SP tools without losing your data, you just need to uncheck the user data partition at the end of the list.
I don't know if this will work in the future, I guess it depends on the start/end addresses in SP tools, but until they stay the same among firmware updates, that'll work.
You'll have to reinstall TWRP (which now supports touch, fortunately) and reflash SuperSU after that.
An update is available from 20170225
Helllo guys!

1] I tried to to run OTA with TWRP - failed.
2] I tried to flash Stock recovery only and to do OTA - failed
3] I tried to flash Stock recovery and System - failed
4] I tried to flash entire rom except for User data and ended stuck on boot logo
5] I tried to flash entire rom including User data ans ended stuck on boot logo
6] I was stuck on boot logo trying all download only, upgrade and format and downloas in SPFT but no joy
In the end I was able to flash older rom version, so I guess my attempts 4 to 6 were caused by corrupted rom download or something like that.
Overall I do not think there is a way for OTA with TWRP (even when kept in read only mode).
Suprisingly flashing stock recovery only did not help either, but that is perhaps because of changes done when rooting the phone.
hello , i have flashed the new update with spft and boot ok , after i have flashed twrp and reboot stuck at boot logo.
after some test i have replaced the old kernel in the new update and solve the boot from twrp
something weird in last kernel
A new rom is available via OTA: UMIDIGI Z. V3.02_20170317
Changelog:
1. Camera optimization
2. The UI of camera optimization
3. WLAN optimization
4. GPS optimization
I have TWRP installed and I'd rather wait for the full SPFT to install it (else I'd have to remove TWRP and so on).

Full SPFT is already available.
Yea ...hope this is a good one ...not had many issues though, camera fix in other thread worked well..
Works fine, use flash tool, do not flash recovery or user data and all will be safe, then reflash super user and any system mids/apps and enjoy.
New camera app looks good and seems improved
New update out ..still mm but fixes a few things

I don't know how to restore the Android security patch level.
But you can reset it to Stock Firmware and can install Magisk for root access, And install TWRP recovery for Custom ROM and NANDROID Backup.

Samsung J1- J120w Rom November 2017 Security Patch

Samsung Stockmod J120w Rom
Here I have an updated stockmod of the J1 rom base J120WVLS2AQK1 November 2017 Security Patch.
The Rom is Fast booting with init.d support and minor tweaks . Must have TWRP installed before november 2017 security patch.
TWRP won't install when you flash newer stock firmware with Odin . That is why i made this a flashable zip so i could still use TWRP.
Just do a factory wipe and flash and reboot.
-De-bloated
-De-knoxed
-Busyboxed
-Minor Tweaks for faster booting
-init.d Support
-Deodexed

Zenfone Go ZC500TG - How to go back to Stock ROM

Hello, some time ago I rooted my device and installed a custom ROM. But since I've learned about the app GravityBox and it's functionalities, I've been wishing to go back to my device's original firmware, so I can use the app without fearing malfunctions. But I don't want to lose root access, nor TWRP during the process.
Back when I rooted my device, I found out that the latest versions don't have the option to allow bootloader disabling. I had some difficulties, but in the end I rooted the device by downgrading the firmware to a certain version that still had the option.
Now I've already downloaded the oldest firmware version available in Asus Zenfone Go Bios and Firmwares Official Page - which has the bootloader option - and passed it to the SD Card (same I had to do to install the Custom ROM). But that's about it, I haven't proceded any further for not knowing for sure what to do.
Device's info:
- Zenfone Go - ZC500TG/Z00VD
- Original Android version: 5.1 - Lollipop
- Current Mod ROM: Android 7.1.1 - Nougat
- Rooted
- SuperSU
- TWRP
- Xposed Framework

Touchscreen not working after installing LineageOS 19.1 on Oneplus 8t

Hi,
I followed the exact instructions on the LineageOS wiki but now i'm stuck on the "enter SIM PIN" screen and the touchscreen is unresponsive, so i can't even turn off the phone.
What i installed :
lineage-19.1-20220915-nightly-kebab-signed
MindTheGapps-12.1.0-arm64-20220605_112439
Known bug on some firmware versions the LineageOS maintainer for this device recommends flashing KB2003 C.33 Firmware to fix this. For more support you can go to the LineageOS thread: [ROM][OFFICIAL][kebab][12] LineageOS 19
NOTE: When flashing firmware follow the guide/thread to the point. This phone was released with both DDR4 and DDR5 RAM. Flashing firmware for the wrong DDR type will brick your phone!
You can flash firmware by doing one of the following:
1. Flashing a firmware zip from this XDA thread: (thread)
Download the EU KB2003 Android 12 firmware version.
Make sure you flash android 12 firmware the .zip name should end with (12.0-ddr).
2. Using LineageOS firmware update guide: (guide).
You can get full KB2003 stock rom from here: (stock rom). Since the OnePlus site still hasn't been updated with the Android 12 ROM.
