Hello I have my honor 9 since it launch june 2017.
I use global rom strait from the (aliexpress) store. I use EMUI 8.0.0.368 (C432) my model is STF-L09, Kernel version is 4.4.23)
Slowly i get frustrated from the device and ill explain why (if there are solved problem ill like to hear that)
1. Performance issues - after every update or upgrade it become slower and laggy, and now it reacts even slower than my xiaomi mi4 !
2. Reliability - since now screen got broke (too easy), battery got damaged (bulged) and the rear cover opened, and now camera getting out of focus (well known huawei problem that on youtube you can find temporary solution - hit hard :crying . good point for the phone is that fixing isn't expensive.
3. Camera Video issues - focus was never good (before my recent problem) and stability bad for 2018 phones.
4. Heating too fast - in summer phone get hot and screen become darker so almost cant see anything.
5. Display - till today it can not be automatic brightness cause it getting immediately to minimum light - come on couldn't they fix it till now ? another issue is not bright enough in direct sunlight no matter what other users say, compare it to samsung phones and you understand !
6. Connectivity - Wifi too slow. i test the wifi speed of the phone next to others and next to laptop and it was half speed of the others
7. Smart assistance - Draw never work at my phone, no matter how hard i knock on it
Please if any of the issues solved il like to hear that
Thanks
I never had one of these problems and I am on 8.0.0.368 too.
Well, after a time in full summer sun and full usuage it got a bit hot but i guess that is normal with every phone.
Maybe you should clear all caches, there could be some rubbish left from previous firmwares.

So it should be an asian Phone STF-ALx0 or STF-TL10 rebranded to STF-L09.
If this is the case, this mean you're out of the 1-year chinese guarantee.

You need a new batterry as yours is defective... Your performance problems could come from that.

Yeah, you also need to switch your defective camera, common problem on some honor9 series but not all series...

A. I already replace the battery a month ago so its a new one. i know no warranty anymore (no worry)
B. Can i test light captor or replace it ?
C. regarding Smart assistance any thoughts ?
I've had mine for 3 months now and haven't seen any of those problems . sounds to me like the phones been damaged , probably dropped on a hard surface .
i checked my light sensor and it work fine, the problem must be software !
Try a full factory's settings restore.
factory's settings should go to Chinese version or global rom ?
A factory reset won't rebrand your device.

I'm seeing you rebranded your device yourself... how did you do it ? Maybe you messed somewhere...

No i didnt do nothing. it come like this from the shop (aliexpress to shop) when i asked them to send it with global rom
Why its not look ok ?
I said you may have rebranded wrong because your old post : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?&p=73073528
But if it was done last year by chinese seller you should be ok.
So when you get your phone you were on nougat C432, since then, you're now on oreo.
Maybe somethings gone wrong during the last year updates. Does your flahlight still working ?
It may be a good thing to test again your problem after
-a reset to factory settings
or better
-a full restore with a dload firmware image via sdcard or usb-otg
I did not do it it come from the shop (aliexpress top shop) i requested global rom
Update - after factory reset i test sensors and all working fine and also flashlight (164,000 on antutu), but still some issues:
1, autobrightness still bad - in very direct sun light reach only to half so cant use it .
2, Smart assistance - draw still not working no matter how hard i knock

Im really worried about that issue.. Im seriously considering getting a new device as a result.
After the last android ota update (August's I think - not sure cuz I didnt update for some time after it notified me)
My screen started to do these 3-4 flicks whenever Im going somewhere and then returning to the home screen..
(Going in whatsapp then returning.. or EVEN sliding the notification bar down then closing it and it flicks again for 2 seconds)
**The phone is in perfect condition no drops no water damage.
UNROOTED ALL OFFICIAL , auto brightness on .
Soft restart applied nothing changed.
Ive tried a hard reset aswell.. with cache wipe.. still nothing. Went into safe mode STILL FLICKS .
But if there was absolutely NO HW damage how come nothing helps (concerning software)..
What can u suggest me to try next ? Im really desperate here.. :crying:
If the problem was the update, there are 2 things you can do
1- (Recommended) Flash the rom again, using Odin flash the most recent update
2- Downgrade, also using Odin flash the old firmware (hard reset should be necessary)
yeah I thought about it but that requires a rooted device doesnt it? and I dont want to void warranty for now..

Just googled in latest update for s6 and found this, so many people complaining about so freaking many problems post latest firmware update, SAMSUNG WHAT ARE U DOING? Im getting ready to drop galaxy for good (had s , s3 & s5 before - never have the issues came CLOSE to what Im experiencing right now).
Im seriously considering selling/ returning the phone.. unless they intend on releasing a fix sometime soon..

Wondering is it a complete on of flicker or just a britness flicker. Sorry if u stated it.
Ive seen a bunch do a briteness flicker. Ive also seen this on lgs a lot to g3 and g4 both done it. Seems to be a common issue amongst a few differ manifacs.
Never really saw any bad come from it other than annoyances

yeah exactly, its like a brightness flicker, which is actually 2-3 flicks which last like less than a second but it annoys me and even though Im not completely sure it does any damage to the phone itself, it annoys me very much, I dont think I'll be able to get used to that.
I just cant help the feeling that my brand new shinny with absolute no physical damage whatsoever (as stated above) already gives me trouble, its like 8 months old, really disappointing turn of events after a mere firmware update. (talking android 6.0.1 firmware update)
http://www.galaxys6edgeupdate.com/g...roid-601-marshmallow-official-stock-firmware/
July firmware is the one Im talking about - G920FXXU4DPGV (or G920FXXU4DPG2 - not sure exactly but its the same firmware just different names)
Im not gonna go LG ever, seen enough people with so many problems (G3&4) so no.
what are my options concerning the S6 ?

Ive had g2 g3 and g4. In my opinion my g2 was rock solid stable. Best phone ever. I loved my g3 to death. No issuse. I had britnes flicker when at low brite. G4 broke 2 screens and the light sensor went bad. Ditched it good practicly gve it away traded 3 old phones and 30 bucks for it. I got this gs6 rite. 20 bucks had some water damge cleand a flex cable and im good now for 3 months. Other than bad battery life. i love it.
Now u might try like shutting off auto brite mine was more noticeable at low level in a drk room. G3 ended up being a bug in the firmware i ended up downgrading and solved it.
Its not constant flickering like ure describing, its a less than 1sec flicking with each return to homescreen & after that 1sec it stops completely, maybe I'm just too picky u know, I just checked my mom's S5 with latest firmware of 6.0.1 aswell, it also flicks kinda like my S6 (more or less the same thing) other than that 1sec flicker I didnt come across any other issue.. (ofc battery life's not amazing but every s6 user gets and tries to cope with it) I really feel like I did a mistake getting the S6 instead of waiting and getting the S7 with the 3000mah (and overall users all over stating that the battery is astonishing compared to the S6) .. but what can I do if I have this phone for almost a year now... and about the ficker guess I'll just have to wait for Android Nougat to roll out as an OTA update on my S6..
Guys,
I haven't updated my H8 to Nougat because of the bugs with EMUI5.
Are the issues fixed? Are there still issues? Is so what are they?
Can somebody provide a honest opinion. Because the current EMUI4.1 is so good and i don't want to regret the upgrade. Thanks.
Emui 5 is far better than emui 4.1,but the battery backup is soon good in emui4.1

All are good
If you're a heavy user and value battery efficiency more than having the latest Android firmware, then don't upgrade. I went back to EMUI4. 1 a week ago due to excessive battery drainage in EMUI5.
I used Nougat since it became available for the H8 and battery life was less than in MM and even worst with the latest update for the US version (B385). My screen on time went from 6 hours to barely 4 hours.
Also having to recharge my phone 3 to 4 times in a day was not worth it staying with EMUI5. I even rebranded my phone to use the L19's firmware (B389) but it was the same story with the battery in addition to loosing VoLTE and band 12.
But don't get me wrong, I do like the interface updates and the improvements in performance in Nougat. It's just that for me battery is more important.
Zero issues in B389, battery a tad better the MM versions. Never charge device more than 1x/day, sometimes 1x/1.5 day.

Thanks. Mine is Indian version. I'm a heavy user and battery life does matter to me. I was so tempted to press the update button but pulling myself out of it. I already get only 4.5 to 5 hours on heavy usage. So will skip the upgrade then. Thanks again!

Use i am also saying that emui 4.1 sucks less compared to 5.0 . Emui 4.1 is the best for battery but we want the new version of Android should have to leave the old one
Also in emui 5.0:
In lockscreen clean up disable apps to run in back ground . U can also get 6+

Anyway if compare look betwen EMUI4 and EMUI5, emui5 is much better, looks a bit more stable and fast. Google security patches is newest how on emui4 and in future if want upgrade to Andoid O (hopefuly we got it) u will must anyway upgrade first to emui5 Nougat. Emui5 have lot of settings which can help improve battery life

I can't get security patches on MM Emui 4 unless I upgrade and that's sad. But the performance with EMUI 4 on H8 is truly amazing. I have never had a single instance of lag or slowness in the two months I have had this. Truly flagship device. Buttery smooth and I'm thoroughly enjpyong this beauty. I'm afraid this will not be the case once I upgrade. So let me stay with this till we get the news on Android O.

Personally, I wouldn't touch the EMUI 5 and Android 7 combination.
I did the upgrade long time ago (I think it was B360, and it was done automatically; I just had to touch a button that said "Upgrade", and kept prompting me for two weeks).
Battery had to be recharged every 2 hours, even without using the phone. Temperature was so hot that I had to put the phone in the refrigerator, honestly.
Many essential application were totally messed up or became useless, including the camera software.
Following a Huawie customer service rep in live communication to go back to EMUI 4.1 and Android 6 resulted in bricking the phone.
I sent it to their service center in Texas (per their instructions).
They found that the excessive heat had caused plenty of internal component deterioration, so it was useless to unbrick it and send it back.
Since it was still under warranty, they sent me a new one (with EMUI 4.1 and Android 6).
Service was fast and excellent.
I became a happy camper again.
EMUI 5 is most likely better than 4.1, but the problem of installing it is that you must install Android 7 as well.
I'm sure Android 7 is better and more advanced than 6, but it is not optimized for the Honor 8.
I would NOT touch that combination of EMUI 5 and Android 7 on the Honor 8 with a 100 foot pole!!
From what I understand, EMUI 5.1 is released.
That is my experience, and it is up to you if you decide to upgrade.

Thanks. I have made up my mind to stay with EMUI4.1 based on the inputs on this thread and yours add up to the list. When it comes to Android I always believe a phone works best only out of the box and any upgrade takes it a step back. I have had this experience with a lot of devices. So i think it's best to stay with the version that comes out of the box if you want to really enjoy the device. Because this is the version that was tested/ optimized/advertised by the manufacturer. Just my opinion... :good:

Maybe it happened with just you. You cannot blame EMUI for the trouble. Yeah I admit that it had some bugs at the beginning. Almost all the Android Phones get them at the beginning, even iOS. An year or two ago I had Galaxy Grand Prime and it didn't boot up after it's lollipop/marshmallow update. So I sent it to Samsung and they fixed it. @Cool_Man99 same as they fixed yours. And it's totally functional even today. Well my mom is using that now. And yeah maybe you faced the problem with your device unnecessary heating, so did I. My device also used to get hot while listening to music at night or maybe while i am in school. Also i was not able to install any 3rd party apps in it. As much as I remember they released some patches and I swear now there are no issues that I am facing. Ooh yeah, I never had the battery draining issue, ever. You can ask other people on the forum too if all of them faced issues like you. ?
@bala1701 maybe you did set your mind to stay but you can just give EMUI 5 a try. Then if you think you are having any issues you can just roolback. It's not that hard.

Yes sure I will definitely give it a try in the future. But as of now I am at peace with EMUI4.1/MM
@Saeem
No it didn't happen just to me.
Lots of people were having similar problems, and that was all over the Internet, including here at XDA and at Huawie forums and Support sites.
Huawie back then created a page with downloadable packages and instructions to switch back to EMUI 4.1 / Android 6.
As I had mentioned before, the battery drain and the excessive overheat were happening even without the phone being used at all, and with the screen turned off.
It wasn't even possible to turn the phone off, or to restart it. These soft buttons were messed up and not functioning properly.
Huawie did not fix the phone, as I had indicated. They replaced it with a new one. It was not fixable..
Glad you and your mom are having no issues.
You might be able to experiment with new software/firmware releases, but many people use the phone for business purposes, and other critical issues. In such uses they cannot afford to be experimenting with buggy Beta releases of software.
Such people use their phone to do things other than play games, text a classmate, or chat with their moms.
You will understand what I mean someday down the road.
Thanks for your input, though.

Hello, I need a new phone and I'm looking at the Nokia 3 because it has an e-compass and gyroscope, sensors that are a must for me.
Sadly most brands are leaving e-compass behind. So I got really exited when I saw that all nokias have it.
So far the only thing that keeps me from buying it are the bugs I read about the phone in this forum and others: screen that doesn't turn on, battery drains, charging that stops at 80%, phone getting slow/choppy, phone that hangs after using the camera.
So I need to ask you this... how serious are those bugs? do you believe they're gonna fix them or they are not doing anything to improve it? is it worth it?
Thanks.

Personally I haven't experienced any of those bugs, the only thing that once happened to me is that once the phone ran down and refused to charge or come on for a while. That said, I'm not sure other phones don't sometimes have similar or worse issues.
Might I ask, why do you need a phone with a compass sensor? Can't you just get a camera app from the play store, or wouldn't such an app work without the sensor?
Anyway bottom line is, the choice is up to you. I believe getting a phone without issues is sometimes a hit and miss situation. Ultimately you'll have to make the decision for yourself. I'm not really sure I can advise you on that. I got my Nokia 3 because I'd always liked the Nokia brand (but couldn't stand the WP os) so this was my way of declaring solidarity with Android on Nokia.
My biggest issue with the phone is the lack of backlight on the navigation buttons, which can be inconvenient in dark places. If that is not a deal breaker for you, you can go ahead and get it, but I'd recommend searching for info on people who have used the compass sensor first

Thanks.

Hi there !
First,I want to say Nokia 3 phone is for me a very good choice :
-have a clean pure android OS without bloats(thats why I am not sure it is a wise choice to root it or unlock boot)
-is a very fast phone if you disable apps you dont need(faster that a rooted debloated Xperia)
-I use MX or FV5 camera for taking very nice photos (at 8Mpx)
-Charging never stops if you know that Nokia 3 have a new protection system for battery-if phone is on charger and you use it a lot on 4g internet the temperature of battery is increasing over normal and automatically is trigged the protection suspending the charge until temperature drop to normal.
So is not a bug,is an enhancement for better battery life.
-If you search the guys who are over complaining you will see they work for competitors of Nokia.Dont forget is a tough competition and there are a lot of high end phones who are not on Oreo update program.Nokia until now keept their promise to deliver monthly updates and upgrades .
Also suspicious is the fact that MTK had double time to deliver drivers but is still delaying.
If you want the best budget phone Nokia 3 is by far the best choice !
All the best !

Hi, I'm using this phone about 2 months, and i had no bugs so far. I didn't tested compass so i can't really tell you about that function. I think that Nokia will fix those "bugs" that other users experienced because they release OTA updates often so you can be sure that you are on latest version. Design of this phone is nice, my friends like it too. Battery life is great for me, it lasts whole day without charging. Sound quality of speakers are ok, i would say average, sound quality through headphones is behind average, but that's my opinion. Customization of this phone is so far good. We have unlocked bootloader, TWRP, SuperSU root and Xposed. I hope that Nokia 3 can have some good Custom ROM. Performance in games are good. I play GTA:SA, Asphalt 8 without bugs in medium settings. Multitasking is ok, i can have 5 apps in background and no apps will be restarted.
I recommend you this phone, i think that it won't disappoint you.
Thanks for your replies!

Might I ask, why do you need a phone with a compass sensor?

I use a few astronomy apps regulary, those need e-compass/magnetometer to work. Also I'm a mapper and use a lot the GPS, GPS without compass is only half as useful. Being able to register where you were facing while taking a shot or registering a note is very useful in mapping, astronomy, hiking, etc.

My advice is to buy TA-1032 variant which is European variant and have dual-sim because it have twrp and stock rom in case you bricked your phone.
Other variants are ok too, but only TA-1032 have twrp and stock rom at this moment. I hope that twrp and stock ROMs will be available for all variants.
I'm from argentina so I don't know wich variant i'm gonna find here... I know it is dual sim, but that's all i know about the nokia 3 they are selling here, EDIT: appearently the most common variant here is the TA-1028, very few sellers has it at this time that aren't even official stores and it's not that cheap, they are selling it here for USD 200-270. That's why i'm worried too because probably I can't get any local support.

TA-1028 is single sim, TA-1038 will probably be the dual sim most common. I don't know if Amazon ships to Argentina, if they do and it doesn't cost too much, I think you can get the TA-1032 model there

sellers says it has dual sim :/
Sadly I'm not willing to buy it outside my country because there are high chances that the postal office steal the package when it enters the country. Also import taxes adds up to 50-60% the price, so the risk is worthless. Easily I prefer to pay those USD 200-270 and be 100% sure I'm getting the phone. After all these troubles I need a really trustworthy phone.
Open the dialer app, and type *#*#7378423#*#* to open the Service Menu, from there go to Service Tests and scroll down until you find Fingerprint test.
Please post the results here with your device model number (J8110, J9110, J8170), device build number (55.x.x.x.x), age of your device and whether or not you have issues with the fingerprint scanner.
Trying to figure out a pattern and it seems like XDA is more active (in comparison) than other forums for Sony devices.
Thanks.
J9110 flashed with J8170.
On 55.0.A.10.26 (pie), used to say "PASS"
On latest 55.1.A.0.748, now says fail. but fingerprint sensor works fine.
I'm guessing it's just a software issue.

Yeah I wish I had more time to test on Pie but I upgraded to 10 almost immediately and the fingerprint has been hit or miss from the start, but for the past day it's been quite bad.
Now it won't unlock unless I completely wipe down the sensor and make sure it's 100% clean, after which it unlocks just fine, but after that it won't unlock till I clean it again.
Quite frustrating, but judging from what I've read, it seems like Sony messed up big time with the Android 10 update for the X1, so I can imagine me and many others are eagerly waiting for a new update.
By the way, do you have any issues on a 'converted' device? Anything not working as intended? And do OTA updates work or do you have to flash every new build manually?

It works 90% of the time for me. Especially after I "trained" the fingerprint sensor. Basically open up the fingerprint settings, then constantly tap your finger, moving your finger slightly with each tap to cover your whole thumb.
IMO the update is fine! Well at least for me. I did a software reset after updating.
OTA updates fine Haven't tested out the dual sim, but I'm assuming it won't work. The only time I had to flash a new build was when I updated from Pie to 10, because I usually do a full wipe during a major update.
I'm using J9110 with latest stock EU firmware. The sensor does not work at all. Even weirder, there is no option to test the sensor in service menu and I cannot find fingerprint scanner in device options. Out of the box the sensor worked great, but gradually started failing after 1 year of use.
Update: I took some screenshots and compared them to other Sony device with working FPS - there is clearly something fishy going on.
The third screenshot is what happens when I launch Fingerprint Manager with Activity Launcher app and try to register a new fingerprint.
@kot5nik exact same issue, mine is entirely missing. Worked at first, gradually started breaking and was intermittent in functionality, then just gone.

Same thing as mine, it is completely dead and no longer works.
Already try repair with sony companion but nothing work
@kot5nik exact same issue
J9110
build 55.1.A.9.127
Worked perfect for 11 months then all the FPS manager simply disappeared suddenly 2 days ago...
Can't test it in Service menu as it's no longer there

You update to 11? Otherwise I think you backup and flash with 12.28 to get it back.
problem is same, fingerprint menu is gone.
J9110
build 55.1.A.12.28
anyone solved this problem? please share ..
Since new firmware 55.2.A.4.47, fingerprint works for 1hour, then just start detecting ton of wrong prints even without finger on the sensor, and shut down completely until the phone is restarted. FingerprintTest showing "NOT OK" at this time. FingerprintTest showing OK after a restart.
I'm so sad I'm not able to get Flashtool working to go back to previous firmware. The fingerprint was working really great for the last 10 months (first months were really hit or miss tho).
if u are on Android 11 now u can't downgrade to Android 10 anymore...u can but it's not working well anymore.!
i tried many times going back to Android 9 after updated to Android 10.
after flashing older Android 9 fw Gyroscope sensor isn't working anymore on lower version of Android
I succeed to revert back to Android 10, but it didn't solve the issue with the fingerprint. If you got some issue with another sensor, I will guess that the "drivers" for the sensor can be changed by an update but are not rolled back correctly, thus the creating issue or not solving mine since the faulty "driver" for the FP reader stay the same.
After a day of not even having the fingerprint management in the security options, Support asked me to do a forced reboot (volume up + power) to see if it solves momentarily the reader, there is a well known issue and they are working on a fix. It did solve the issue momentarily so I guess my FP reader is not completely dead (it was my conclusion seing it was still an issue once reverted to Android10) and I just have to wait for a fix.

Sorry for really late answer. Yes I updated to 11 right after it came out.
To prove the theory of update bricking it I bought a replacement sensor from AliExpress (when it arrived, it was clearly a new one, in OEM packaging) and it didn't work either.
In the process of replacement I accidentally broke the screen (because was really hard to replace, at least with my experience, way harder than battery, motherboard, etc.). So I really don't recommend trying this to anyone.
Now there is no point to downgrading, heh.
And no, on 11 firmware shutting the phone down completely or force reboot does not help. I tried everything I could before going for replacement, including full data wipe and disconnecting the battery with inside connector for some time.
Been having the same issue but I can get the fingerprint sensor to work sometimes after booting into safe mode and then booting normally, read that from another post somewhere but can't seem to find it. Mine also keeps disconnecting from LTE and drops to H+ and has been doing that a lot recently I hope that they will update some of this soon getting pretty frustrated with it, any of you been seeing that in addition to the fingerprint issue?
My fingeprint sensor on XPERIA 1 is there in menu but it is not working at all. Can't recognize my finger at all. Resset didn't help as well as restart to safe mode. I gess it is dead. Or is there something else wrong?
The fingerprint on my Xperia 1 is notice with "Could not read fingerprint", because "Fingerprint enrollment time limit reached" (like image attached)

So, the warranty on mine was over and they asked me 335 euro for "REPLACEMENT FRONT COVER WITH FINGERPRINT READER" (also change the internal fingerprint reader module)
According to them so it is a hardware problem, but at that price certainly not worth it to repair it.
tl;dr: I flashed to 11.0.7.1 which rendered the camera/torch unusable, only 9.5.11 should I try flashing back to the latest OxygenOS or rather use some custom ROM?
I was using the OnePlus 7 Pro I got a few months back used for ~200 EUR quite happily, except the front camera wasn't working (it pops up but the software freezes, keeps popping back and forth until I quit the camera app), which was probably somehow damaged by the previous user. We didn't discuss it, as he also didn't say anything about quite noticeable AMOLED Burn-in, cause he used the always-on navigational buttons... Something everyone should check when browsing through used deals.
I guess I was using the latest 11.0.6.1.GM21BA without issue, then the security patch and a few people on Reddit said their battery life improved, so I tried it.
All seemed fine, but the camera app has just thrown an error that the camera is damaged and I should go for repairs, torch in the quick menu said "Camera in use" so I did a backup and factory reset, which I recall I had to do in the previous update as well. But that didn't help. So in the angry rush, I said to hell with Oxygen OS and flashed cDroid, but there was the same issue there.
Finally using this great guide I managed to reflash to OxygenOS 10, but the issue still persisted. But with OxygenOS 9.5.11 finally, the camera works again. I didn't even put the phone online and I wanted to try upgrading to the latest OxygenOS 11 again, but I fear the issue will happen again.
Maybe OS9 somehow made the camera unstuck and unless I install the 'corrupting OxygenOS 10/11' and install rather some custom ROM it might be fine?
I will try later, I wasted too many valuable hours on this crap.
Googling in rage and reading other posts I see a similar camera issue happened across multiple OnePluses from 6 to 8. This really disappoints me and I'm sure I won't be looking for a used OnePlus ever again. Good thing I got a spare older OnePlus 5 for now.
Thanks for your testimony.
I indeed have this issue too. It appeared on June 10th. I tried to factory reset my phone yesterday and nothing changed.
I will also add that my front camera isn't working anymore since April. Can't figure out if this is software or hardware related
I really don't want to downgrade to OOS 9 but until the contrary is proved (by a fix or a comment by OnePlus), I would call it a case of planned obsolescence.
From now on I will keep my distance with this brand. Quite sad to admit because I was fond of their phones, but the management of issues / updates for the more dated ones isn't an example to follow anymore

Has your front camera stopped working after an update or during normal use?
It would make "sense" for OS 10+ to check if there is an issue with the front camera to disable all cameras altogether. Even if only to rush you into a repair shop...
I requested a repair which is in neighboring Poland, but they didn't wait for confirmation and requested UPS shipping from me right away.
I will check with them if the price would be within 50 EUR (from other posts not sure where in the world it was ~ 30 EUR if I recall correctly), then I'll get it repaired.
