Hi Kalpesh,
Did you try to root the phone? Can you mention what were your actions before your phone got stuck in a bootloop?Did you upgrade your firmware or did you try to flash a custom ROM?Or was the bootloop sudden without any probable reason?

Thanks for your response, It was sudden bootloop without any reason and currently I am unable to perform any transaction and it seems HW problem to me.

Hi kalpesh,
You have 2 options now,the first one is going to an authorized honor service center and getting your phone repaired at an expense.
Second is using the trial and error method by the remaining possible ways you can use to unbrick your phone, the most probable one being the use of fastboot,I will try and prepare the step by step method for you till tomorrow,it is very late right now hence signing off,g'night.

Hi I am active now, first thing you need to try is to enter recovery mode,
Power off your device.
Boot in recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Up, Volume Down and Power Button at the same time.
Release all buttons when the Huawei Honor 6 screen flickers and in a few seconds the Recovery screen will appear.
If it does revert and I will tell you steps ahead,if it doesn't..well yet revert and tell me ASAP.

Hi there is one more method I suggest you to use,
THE 3 BUTTON RESET
tell me here if you have any update.app file downloaded on your SD card and do mention exactly which version update have you downloaded by accessing the memory card from another phone.

Hi I have already tried for recovery method, however when I released these 3 buttons post logos is seen my phone switched off. I was doing some troubleshooting on this and I noticed if I remove memory card my phone goes into recovery mode, however my update.app is stored on memory card this does not help either.
Let me try and change memory card to see if this helps.

Even I am facing same issue.
Even I am facing same issue.
Could anyone help me out to resolve the issue.
Even I am facing same issue but when I keep on charging it starts and is working fine. as soon as I remove the charger it switches off and constantly displays honor 6logo after 7secs interval. I tried hard ,soft reset,3button combo but all in vain. I am on emui v3 and I have not rooted my phone .pls help me
This is not any hardware issue, Its software.
3 Button method wont work unless you have dload folder in your SD card with proper update.app file.
You can enter recovery only using VOL+ then POWER key together, Hold them until you are there.
There you will get limited options like reset/cache clear etc.
You should download latest software for your model, Place dload folder in your SD using card reader or other device.
Then with 3 buttons method flash it, lollipop is most stable.
Having the same issue here, exact symptoms as Ameya103, but now it doesn't even work with the charger plugged. just keeps resetting.
I tried the 3 button method but instead it went to a screen saying (Huawei software installing, do not press powerkey or remove battery) and a loading bar. it just stopped at the very end (almost 99%) and now nothing is happening.
Oh yeah, it was connected to my pc when I pressed the 3 buttons...
Me too!

Hi! I too had the exact same problem!
> Infinite boot loop.
> Can't boot into any rescue mode.
> Even when the battery is dry, it wouldn't charge. If I plug in the charger, it would reboot continuously.
I somehow managed to fix it. Dunno if it will work for you. But give it a try.
== Let the phone reboot until the battery dries.
== Now turn on the computer and have the Huawei multi-tool installed with Universal ADB driver ready.
== Now, while pressing the down volume key, insert the USB cable. This should boot to fast boot mode.
== Once you are here, use the multi-tool to unbrick your phone. (This step itself is lengthy step. Follow: http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/general/honor6-multi-tool-t2963060/post57271243)
By mostly following the same procedure, I managed to unbrick my phone. And upgraded to 5.1 EMUI 3.1!
Fixed by replacing the battery
Are you facing any problem after unbrick?
Hi,
I have the exact issue as Ameya103. The phone keeps restarting. When plugged to charger it works fine. Once, unplugged it keeps restarting again. I tried all possible methods factory reset, updating OS (through service centre). Nothing worked. But currently, it doesnt even work with charger connected, it keeps restarting and stucks at the logo.
Have a similiar problem with my PE-TL10. After I changed the speaker, it does not work on battery, completely dead. When I plug it to the charger, it goes in bootloop, but it's possible to get it in flash mode with volup/power button. With USB to PC, I can get it in Fastboot mode. Tried recovery from different firmware(my PE-TL10 is Chinese), from stock to the last Chinese dev.firmware, but it does not start up in Android after sucessfull flashing. Could I have damaged the battery when opening, and could that be the reason for these errors? I used opening tools, but I may have been a bit to harsh bending/prying the plastic part that holds the battery, loose..... As said, tried going back to B260 firmware, have extracted boot, rcovery & system img, which installs fine via Fastboot. Then I start installing Update.app from sdcard/dload...... Or am I doing things a bit wrong? The phone is not rooted, but it is unlocked(got the code by mail). Any help or input from somebody who have similiar experience would be appriciated!
By the way, have found a supplier of a replacement battery for aprx. 8 USD, but it will take some weeks to arrive if I order it...
Same issue for me:Honor 6 H60-L12
Hi ,
I am having a Honor 6 , H60-L12 which I purchased from China almost an year back.
Form the past 2 days I am facing similar issue . My phone goes to bootloop. It flashes the Honor logo and again restart.
But when the charger is connected, we can restart it.
Sometimes, even if we have sufficient charge, the battery shows 0% all of a sudden and then switch off. But when we plug the charger and restart, battery will be showing the previous charge or higher and works normally.
Is this some issue related to battery or software?
I am very new to rooting
I am facing the same problem. Boot loop and now phone shutsdown immediately when charger is unplugged. I downloaded the latest firmware for honor 6 l-04 and placed the unzipped dload folder with Update.app on sd card. Did a 3 button reset to get the phone started only with the phone plugged in / charging, battery shows 100% but shutsdown with a flash of Android & honor logo when unplugged.
Blame it on the Hardware
I too have this issue with my honor 6 h60 l04. I tried resetting but no results. I then downloaded the Firmware for my version from the Huawei official consumer site and updated my phone with the UPDATE.app technique from the sd card, this only removed the root and the boot loop still occurs (It works perfectly fine on the charger after a couple of restarts, and It will enter into the boot loop when I plug it off from the charger)

You should remove root, flash stock recovery.img and boot.img prior to any oficial update. Not doing so LEADS to bootloop.
Hello Guys,
My OnePlus One screen broke, it was in my drawer for more than 15 days without charge, i connected charger for 1 hour it just went from 1% to 5% but i didnt thought much about it as my priority was to change screen, i bought touch+lcd with frame and replaced it myself, but it wasnt powering up then i tried putting the backpanel on, it then booted up to the home screen, but the battery indicator wasnt moving up i powered off the phone after that it never turned on, i researched a bit and found out the after long period of time if you dont charge your phone might have problem charging and there was one suggestion which i followed and that was charge OPO using usb cable attached to PC, i left it for somewhat 7hours and it powered on i thought it might be the problem of ROM i flashed official H2OS (regret selecting this rom) using TWRP, it was a catastrophe my phone wont Enter Bootloader or Recovery, and wont even boot to system, it seemed i hardbricked my device, i used Oneplus one recovery tool 64GB to bring my device to life but after that no matter what i do my device wont enter to bootloader as the volume up button stopped working too : tried advance reboot, powerup+volumeup, opo toolkit.
Help me, i want to root my device and unlock bootloader once again.

Is your volume up button actually broken or does it still work and can you boot into something? If it still works (hold on, this idea might be a little crazy xD) you could try completely hard bricking (no joke! you cannot get into Qualcomm download mode with a booting device) and restoring it with the msm8974downloadtool from the oneplus one unbricking guide which should theoretically fix everything that is wrong.

Good Morning,
yesterday when i flashed a rom, something goes wrong.
My opo don't go in boot animation and work only the recovery and fastboot.
I don't know why but afther another reboot the phone is dead, i think that is a normal hard brick so i try to restore with the tool "msm8974 download tool" but it don't work, when i start the restore come out a red word.
I never seen a hard brick like this, the phone is 100% dead , when i press the power button don't vibrates and nothing come out, diplay is black.
What can i do to restore my opo? :crying:
Try Wiping everything from TWRP and try a different ROM.
Another thing to try is connecting ADB to get the logcat.
Can you give more details on what you've tried so far?
Additionally, I remember reading that the OPO can stop booting correctly when the battery starts failing.

Hi friend, what is that different thing you say? Some is the first time we have a OnePlus, so we do not know.
Another question I have is that my OnePlus 7 works fine, but I wanted to see if this program recognizes me my OnePlus in case I ever need it, how can I enter the necessary mode to be detected by this program?
I press volume up and volume down and then I connect the cable, at that moment the program makes me "connected" (see attached image, left side), but after a few seconds it appears that "disconnected" and the phone restarts and OSS starts .
When I connect it, the images "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM3) appear in the device manager.
I do not understand why my mobile when I connect it by pressing the volume buttons and without touching anything of the program it appears that connected and after a few seconds it disconnects itself and OOS restarts.
Regards, and thank you very much.

Hello friend, could you help me to know why when I connect my device appears as connected and after 10 seconds it automatically restarts the OOS operating system? My phone works well, it's just a test to know if one day I have a brick to know that this program works in my case.
I would need (now that your device works, like mine) to start in a way that the program detects and looks "connected", then wait a moment and without pressing any button on the program or phone to see if it restarts alone. I am thinking that if the phone works well, the program when connected only starts the system automatically.
Read some messages above in case I have not explained myself well.
Could someone who has a good phone confirm this? Can the program attempt to automatically restart the device if the "Start" button of MsmDownloadTool is not pressed within 10 seconds?
Thanks greetings.

hello, thanks for trying it, then that happens, if it is not locked it restarts, or maybe the EDL mode restarts for security if you don't press Start on the Msm tool.
---------- Post added at 12:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:10 PM ----------
Indeed we have already resolved the doubt about why EDL mode is disconnected after 10 seconds. It is a security system, you have 10 seconds to press Start. here another partner who has tried it and that happened to him, until he hit start and flashed everything well.

I see that you sent a private message to me also and mentioned that you got into the Bootloader. That is not what you need.
First of all, you will need to install the qualcom drivers from here: https://www.androidjungles.com/qualcomm-hs-usb-qdloader-9008-driver-64-bit-windows/
Afterwards, you will need to hold both volume buttons, and after a few seconds connect your phone to the computer via cable (while still holding the volume buttons).
The phone will be detected as a Qualcom device and you cand start following the tutorial that was provided earlier.

Hello friend, I already managed to enter the EDL mode correctly, the doubt is that when I connected it after 10 seconds, the phone disconnected and relapsed. That's why I said that if I could test now that your phone works, it also automatically restarts without touching any Msm program button once connected in EDL mode.
Something with EDL mode in OP7 is currently wrong.
As the predecessors wrote, after connecting, it is interrupted after a few seconds and the phone reboots.
I also have OP3, OP6 in them after the EDL mode is switched on the connection is maintained all the time.

That's what @Thelargeportion wrote at OP7Pro thread:
"Yes, it did on mine. I've just used this tool to recover from root to stock.
Noted that if the program isn't started within 10 seconds, the phone rebooted automatically, I'm guessing as some sort of security lock. Restarted in EDL, connected to the MSMDownloadtool and executed the program as soon as it was connected and it flashed absolutely fine.
Note that after the phone is restarted after a successful flash, it takes about 1-2 minutes to boot again having stuck on the OnePlus boot logo."
Could be true. But nevermind... It works and that's important.
Yes, it is the most important thing that it flashes the system image.
However, it does not maintain a permanent session in EDL as
in previous OnePlus models, and that may be worrying.

Hello friend, yes, that happens to all of us, it is not an isolated case, but if once you enter EDL mode and connect the phone to the PC and it appears "connected", you press start and everything works. You must press start in 10 seconds since entering EDL mode, once you press start, it no longer restarts and blinks correctly.
This of the 10 seconds occurs in all OnePlus 7 series (normal and PRO).
Comment where I ask about 10 seconds and colleagues confirm that they used the tool: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79997414&postcount=54
When I used the Fastboot Enhance tool to flash the payload.bin file, after the flash process finished I try to reboot but unfortunately it was dead.
No Fastboot, no EDL, no recovery, 3 buttons not working, power with up/down not working, when i connect to PC no sound that the pc recognize the phone "OP 8T", when I plug it into charger no info showing, Just black screen.
So it's working now, I'll explain everything here so it might help.
My device is OnePlus 8T DDR5 version
first, I understand what happened to me, I think the tool didn't recognize ram type automatically so it was flash DDR4 on a DDR5 device, so it made a hard brick
at this point, the idea is to connect 2 test points, and you can force your phone to enter to EDL mode, and we can do it in two ways:
1. Rootk1t giude, thax bro Rootk1t
- Removing the back panel by heating it.
- Unplugging battery
- Then use the EDL points on the motherboard to force the device to boot EDL.
- The device immediately will be recognised with just one tap on "enum" now.
- Plugging the battery again and attaching the back panel and rebooting
2. By using deep EDL cable, but not any edl cable, it must be a moded cable so it can be worked with the new security ...... this link will explain
Hydra Tool Gift Xiaomi, Huawei, Redmi Qualcomm EDL Mode New V2 Cable!! - GSM-Forum
Hydra Tool Gift Xiaomi, Huawei, Redmi Qualcomm EDL Mode New V2 Cable!! Hydra Tool New Type-C EDL cable Schematic With this cable you can reboot your
forum.gsmhosting.com
- So i use Hydra EDL Cble V2 , you can buy it from aliexpress
- Be ready and open your MSM tool
- Press the cable button before connecting
- Connect the cable to your phone when you still pressing the button
- Then connect the USB to your PC
- It will automatically put your phone in EDL mode
- Now your phone will show in the MSM tool screen so you can revive it.
Thanks to everyone who tried to help.
Special thanks to Rootk1t , semdoc

Are you sure no EDL? Did you try the msm tool to restore to factory settings?

Seem like you flashed the wrong xml for the ram type. There is one for ddr4 and ddr5. If EDL is not working I'm afraid according to several post it's an unrecoverable brick...sorry mate!!!
However keep searching for a solution, you never know maybe a new method of recovery from this disaster may exist. I'll keep searching and if I find anything I'll post it here!
Also have you tried the 3 buttons connected from charger and disconnected? Usually for some reason my phone won't respond with the 3 buttons when connected to usb sometimes.
Also have you used the msm tool before?

Just one more thing, when you connect the phone to pc check your device manager to see if the PC reads the phone. If it does than its just a driver issue and reinstalling the qualcom driver for msm maybe needed.
I've found that sometimes I have to reinstall the Qualcomm drivers for EDL. So check that when you connect the phone to the PC in EDL mode there isn't an entry in Device Manager under Ports (COM & LPT)

I can't know which mode the phone is stuck on, because I have only a black screen, even the Power button with volume up / down not working,
do you think if I keep it for a couple of days the battery will drain and I can use MSM tool with press 2 volume buttons, it's the last thing i think about

I would open it up and remove the battery instead of waiting for days but that's also an option. It's not that hard to open, I opened mines to replace the usb port. I just held the back of the bottom corners of the phone over the stove until it was hot enough to soften the glue and used an old credit card and my thumb nail to open it. It maybe unrecoverable anyway so its worth a try.

I've had a totally black screen at times in Qualcomm Crashdump Mode. To get out of it you can use Power+Vol up and then, when the phone buzzes, use the key combination for bootloader or MSM.

I tried a lot to press Volume Up + Power & Volume Down + Power & the 3 buttons, but with no response.
I can't feel any buzz, even I tried it when the phone connected to the PC, no sound come from PC prove that the phone is connected
Please keep us updated with any current queries or resolution as I'm very interested in the outcome.

Hello!
If waiting for battery to discharge will not help you, i suggest of:
- Removing the back panel by heating it.
- Unplugging battery
- Then using the EDL points on the motherboard to force the device to boot EDL.
-The device immediately will be recognised by just one tap on "enum" now.
- Plugging the battery again and attaching back panel and rebooting.

I have the same problem now after trying to downgrade to OOS12
I used this, EU version, I cant find another version, which would have been the right one?
https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/4668_sign_KB2003_11_C_OTA_1360_all_86c2c1_01000100.zip
It installed, but now I cant start the ohone in any way.
Any tipps? Did it work for you Abdo Ismail?
