Procedure (for flashing Firmwares):
Download all (software) requirements to a folder
Download the files/folder to be flashed to a folder ( Here is the Stock ROM for Canvas 4: Mod Edit...PPC Click Removed )
Extract it to a folder (this is the extracted firmware for this guide)
Install drivers & extract SP Flash Tool to a folder
Open Flash_tool.exe
Click Scatter-loading
Select MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt (for Canvas 4) found in extracted firmware
Click Download button or press F9
Shutdown your Canvas 4 and connect it with Micro USB to PC running the Flash Tool
See it flashing before your eyes and wait for a green circle to show up on your PC to indicate successful flashing.
Restart phone and Done!

Then this is definitely a driver problem...
If you tried multiple drivers then post your OS and problem here and help will be there at your rescue...

but I had the same issue both times.

My phone just keeps disconnecting and re connecting to the PC when I try to connect it with the battery, sim, and sd card taken out. (also holding the vol+ button)
Also, can you upload the file to mediafire? TrustFiles has a lot of **** between the file and the user...

CHECK OUT THE NEW WIN 8.1/8/7 64 bit DRIVERS DIRECT BACKUP FROM A WORKING WIN8.1 64BIT INSTALL
BUT MAKE SURE TO: Disable Driver Signature Enforcement (google it exactly like this for instructions)
NOTE: This may show an attention mark in Device Manager. Completely ignore that!

Try this driver, now this driver comes from a backup from my Windows 8.1 Pro 64Bit install and should work on your Win8 64bit too,
though you HAVE to disable Driver Signature Enforcement (google it) or else it won't install..

Tried the new drivers, not working either. my phone just keeps charging. the flashing process does not start what so ever,,,

have canvas 4 a210 problem with imei ( at command send fail) which occurred at changing rom, some on adviced sp flash
but cant use pc since there was charging hardware problem hence usb port cant be used hardware problem ( charging via external battery charging taken out) . need SP tool from sd card if available

there was no problem except rain water that had shorted, cleaning the components helped
well
downloaded sptool from another place (your having problem) ,mt 6589 scatter files, recover.imp
connected : usb in off mode... loaded scatter and recover file.......... clicked down load .................nothing
there is something i am not doing right....( PLease note only recovery and boot is with path others dont have any)

things are going from bad to worst but i am not giving up.....so need U
as per your post even can can unbrick canvas4 ....
while using sp too; i used format ( to factory format)
now nothing happens ( pressing down Vol +/_ and power ) cant go into recovery
please help.....

Driver problem solved
I had the same problem, phone connecting then disconnecting.
Here is a solution for the problem.
1. Install latest drivers
2. Disconnect phone
3. Open SP Flash Tool
4. Select Scatter-loading and select the files required
4. Now here is the trick, in SP Flash Tool, go to ACTION > DOWNLOAD
5. Connect the phone (which should be switched off)

Hi Guys one thing i have seen is that when many people make tutorial in Forum they do not consider making downloadable copies (Documents,Vedios,Pictures)of their tutorials for the viewers to download the results are-
They have to go online when working on the smart phones (Not Everyone Has Internet)
Sometime the images or the files expire thus you lose the important parts of a tutorial
Vedio might get blocked
The Site Closes Down
The reader might forget where the site is located
I have seen that many people would like to keep hard copies of these tutorial with themselves rather than keeping it on the web eg: People like to download mp3 rather than streaming music online...LOL.:silly: So i have copied, pasted, Downloaded These Sets Of Tutorials.
Some are word by word and some i have modified to Make it easier, Some of them have a merger of two or more tutorials to be better understood. Also some of the procedures might have two documents inside a single folder as i fealt that one is as important as the other and their merger might result in the loss of information
IMPORTANT
Remember that i have tried to make these tutorial as easy as possible but you must read and understand the whole thing before screwing with your phone
You must do some more research to be hundred percent sure (That is if you don't mind screwing your phone)
Most of all you must have common sense before proceeding

How to Flash
Step 1: Download and extract the stock firmware on your computer.
Step 2: After extracting you will find the SP Flash Tool, Driver and instruction manual.
Step 3: Install the USB Drivers (skip if drivers are already installed).
Step 4: Open the SP Flash Tool and load the Scatter File from the firmware folder.
Step 5: Connect your Smartphone to the computer using the USB Driver.
Step 6: Click on Upgrade / Download Button in the SP Flash Tool to Begin the Flashing.
Step 7: Green Ring will appear at the end of successful Flash.
Important Notes:
[*] Take a Backup of your personal data before flashing or installing the firmware on your smartphone. As this helps you to recover the personal data whenever any thing wrong happens.

LYF LS-5016 Root [Requires flashign STOCK ROM]

WARNING: Backup your files before flashing!​Part 1​First you need to flash the stock ROM for LS-5016.

Don't use the QPST present in the zip file, instead download and install from the link given below.

Steps to flash
1- Download QPST tool.
2- Install Qualcomm driver.
3- Run QPST tool.
4- Add new port (Check device manager)
5. Select Flat Build.
6- Click browse on Select Programmer and search for prog_emmc_firehose_8909_ddr.mbn in the Stock ROM folder.
7- Click Load XML and double click on rawprogram_unsparse.xml and select patch0.xml.
8- Select Download and wait for the flashing to be finish.

2. Extract the file B2N...... .nb0.7z/zip using
winrar
3. Then extract B2N.... .nb0 file using nb0
unpacker
4. Find .mlf file in extracted files and edit in Notepad as the value given below ?

And save the file
5. Run ost tool on your pc/ laptop
6. Select .mlf file on ost tool
7. Reboot your device to download mode
and connect to PC/laptop

Dear users, I have a Nokia 7 plus updated to the latest fw (android 10 I guess). Because of full memory or because something else the OS doesn't start. It appears a mini recovery where It's written "impossible load the android system. Your data could be damaged.....and so on.... I have just two options:
1) Retry (obviously this option doesn't work)
2) Restore factory settings
I've some data important data inside the phone and I'd like to recover them.
Unfortunately I've never modified the recovery so I guess I've also a locked bootloader, so the TWRP isn't an option. I was thinking about download the original FW and to reinstall it Via ADB. Usually I used this method with samsung through ODIN and often it worked.
Could it works for your opinions?
