and the devices still restart if I do nothing
I download stock firmware and I put the ( updata.app ) in dlod folder in SD card and turn off the device and press ( Vol + ) + ( Vol - ) + ( Power ) it's run into recovery and nothing happened
I tried download update.zip for Huawei 4C and I put it in dlod folder in SD card and I run the device into recovery and chose apply update from sd card and chose update from extrnal SD it's tell me update.zip not found even if I chose update from internal sd just like the same update.zip not found

[Completed] My phone is messed up

Hi there,
I decided to install some ROM yesterday night because mine wasn't working very well.
Anyways, I placed the .rar file on my external SD root folder, then did the up+down+power button thing. The installation turned out to be successful, but by the time I rebooted my phone it got stuck on HUAWEI logo.
With that being said, I don't know what to do anymore. I ONLY can access to the TWRP recovery mode.
Thank you guys in advance.
Actually, I'll give you a solution that a "forummate" found out a year ago.
- Restored original B510 recovery (flash recovery.img and boot.img from the original B510 rom, it's inside the TWRP thread...)
- Added the B132 update to my external SD card. (Create a folder /dload/ and add the UPDATE.APP file to it)
- Started the phone in recovery mode by by pressing volume up + volume down + power
- Updated to B510 again via update.zip in the /dload/ folder
But I'm totally clueless about the first step.
Hi there

Rooted, Bloatware Booted Makes P8 Max the BEST PHABLET I have ever owned

Bold statement, I know. I have owned almost every Note iteration and the Nokia 1520. Once I rooted the phone and removed the Chinese Bloatware, I am running close to stock Android on my P8 Max and since I have completed the above tasks, I have a smoothest and most powerful experiences ever. My Android Wear application is working so much better now than ever before. Thanks to all those who helped me get to this point.
Nice to hear that for you. I really want to buy the P8 Max too because it has the screensize I am looking for.
But before I buy one, I have to know more about it. What is the build version you have and how did you rooted it to stock Android?
And may I ask you to try one of the themes to see if they work on the P8 Max? I have so many concerns it ma not work because of the EMUI 3.1
It's this:

Good morning David,
I will add a new thread called Root and Remove. You will notice that I have posted a few threads in an effort to perform this exercise. But I have saved all the correct files into particular folders on my computer and will upload with a simple easy to follow guide. I need to pay it forward. I can tell you I removed all the chinese software, everything gone. All i have remaining in my Huawei folder is:
1. Settings
2. Videos
3. Themes (kept this and have changed my system font to Roboto)
4. Phone Manager
5. Files
6. Director Mode
7. Messaging
8. Clock x 2
9. Contacts
I removed most of the bloatware that was overlayed over EMUI. It is running as close to stock as I can get it. I also installed NOVA launcher and can swap between Nova, Google Now and EMUI 3.1. My Android Wear strength has also improved, making dropouts and reconnects rare as hens teeth.
Stay Tuned.

To be honest I am interested in seeing your method to
Managed to root my phone.. even when I have updated the EMUI to B018, but there was an issue.. I tell you below
Step I follow from Chinese Forum below...
Preparation step :
1. download the tools from
https://www.mediafire.com/?9drsdo2f6hn4j34
2. Extract the content to your local. Note there are two folders :
- Folder 1 is for the tool that contains the TWRP recovery.img and the adb/fastboot tool,
- Folder 2 is for the original recovery
3. Copy the SuperSU zip to your phone (either in internal or external memory of your phone)
Installation step :
Step 0, unlock your bootloader (search around on how to do it)
1. Since I am using mac, somehow I don't need to install any driver, but if you using windows, install all the driver yourself
2. Enable the developer mode in your phone, and after that enable the usb debugging
3. Turn off your phone, and boot to fastboot (in off mode, connect the phone with your PC then press Volume Up and Power Button together)
4. Since now your phone has been connected to the PC, go to that Tool folder in respective of your OS, then overwrite the recovery with TWRP with fastboot command (install custom recovery) *note : for mac just add "./" in every command
- check the whether its connected : fastboot devices
- install TWRP : fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
5. Restart your phone and boot to recovery
- restart : fastboot reboot
- after reboot, turn off your phone
- reboot to recovery : turn on your phone by holding Volume Down with Power button
- Now you are at TWRP
6. Install SuperSU (root)
- Install SuperSU zip that has already been copied to your phone using TWRP (use the Install mode)
7. Reboot the phone
- Use reboot function in twrp
8. Profit
Theoritically the above things works but I have some issues following the above :
- After step 4, after recovery being flashed with TWRP seems like my phone Boot Partition is being overwritten too
- So when I rebooted the phone, it boot to TWRP instead
- So I tried to re-flashed the recovery with the original EMUI rom recovery (go to the folder "2.P8Max_Official_Recovery(For_restoration)" to find the original recovery.img). Also note that in the this folder, the adb and fastboot is only for mac. The one for windows use it in the tools
- This is done by going to fastboot again, then do command : fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
- This time using the original recovery
- Now when I rebooted the phone, it goes to EMUI recovery, then I just clicked restart to system or something
- After this, everything fixed, and I have SuperSU install and phone rooted
You can follow the above, but do it at your own risk, I am not responsible if your phone brick hehehe..

You should never post that information in a public forum. I would edit your post and remove everything about your phone's information like the IMEI and serial information. Send a PM (private message) to @rowihel2012. He has been helping everyone with the unlock code if people have difficulty.

[Completed] Search firmware or dump: TrekStor ST10416-7a

Hello,
I do not speak English, i translate this text with a translator online, thank you for your understanding.
I buy 2 identical tablets of the TrekStor brand.
Model name: ST10416-7a
Processor type: QuadCore-A33
Kernel: 3.4.39
Build Number: ST10416-7a_20150925_V1.2.2
Firmware version: V1.1.9_20150917
The tablets are "root" method.
On one of the tablet i deleted files important! :silly:
Now it starts until logo "Android".
Another problem, i can not install a custom Recovery (CWM TRWP).
Unfortunately, I find this not the right firmware.
To save the tablet , I think do a " dump" or " Nandroid " with the tablet that works.
I followed the tutorial "Making Dump Files Out of Android device scores" of the site XDA-Developers.
I extracted: boot.img, and recovery.img system.img.
Then i made a package ".zip"
I turn on the tablet in recovery (power + volume up).
That the Recovery Menu:
Reboot system now
Apply update from ADB
Wipe data factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Apply update from external storage
Apply update from extsd storage
Apply update from usbhost storage
Reboot to bootloader
Power down
View recovery logs
Click to collapse
I selected the "Apply update from ADB" option to install my package "zip"
I open a terminal and type the command:
Code:
adb devices
He turns to me: "03389948c80500000000 sideload"
Then i tape.
Code:
adb sideload update.zip
The tablet me back:
E: footer is wrong
E: signature verification failed
If I try to other controls with "sideload" (adb root or adb shell...)
He turns to me:
error: closed
Thank you for helping me.

[Completed] Huawei G610 U20 Hard reset loop, problem

Hi everyone,
I´m stuck on rebooting/hard reset my device. Desperately. I´d like to start and saying that I´m not a IT person at all, and maybe my question can sound basic for you. I just need a little bit more clear advices and patience from you. Let´s start:
1) I did a buckup with the app. in the phone, another app start to work bad and I restarted the device normally with the power button and here we go the loop: vibration, logo Huawei, switch off.
2) Vol+ and POWER and I entered in Reboot system-> wipe data-> reboot now-> "[do_cust] do_cust enter" on screen -> reboot now (twice)------> loop
3) download firmware from Huawei Support (http://consumer.huawei.com/pk/mobile-phones/support/downloads/detail/ascend-g610-pk.htm?id=27463) --> format SD with FAT32 --> create the new "dload" folder --> extract the file UPDATE.APP into it --> VOL+ VOL- POWER to go in the download mode (it doesn´t work) --> Reboot mode --> wipe data --> Update from SD (empty, no file UPDATE.APP there) --> trying "reboot now" --> "[do_cust] do_cust enter" on screen --> reboot now (twice)------> loop
I search here and other forums a solution for my problem (like here http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help/huawei-g610-u20-restart-wont-respond-to-t3375434 or here http://forum.xda-developers.com/chef-central/android/fix-boot-loop-huawei-g610-t2872171 ) but I guess they don´t match with my problem
Thank you a lot for your time!
