[GT-P6200] Official ICS 4.0.4 firmware (Nov 2012) [STOCK/UNROOTED]

Just saw the heat on the GT-P6210 UK firmware release and checked on Samfirmware.
Flashed this using Mobile ODIN directly OVER the KL3 deodexed firmware, no major issues so far (unable to set voicemail number).
All settings/prefs/apps preserved

** UPDATE **
Brand new UK P6200 firmware available dated November 2012
PDA: P6200XXLQ7
CSC: P6200XEULP1
http://www.hotfile.com/dl/179423658/bf830d8/P6200XXLQ7_P6200XEULP1_XEU.zip.html
Same as previous. I flashed this directly over my previous firmware using Mobile Odin Pro. I had to flash SuperSU binaries afterwards to gain proper root access.
Root is easy for this firmware!
When flashing via Mobile Odin, clear the flash for recovery image (i.e. do not flash recovery)
Then flash SuperSU afterwards via recovery
http://download.chainfire.eu/204/SuperSU/CWM-SuperSU-v0.94.zip
how much it take time, i flash with mobile odin about 20 minute ago and my tab still on samsung logo !
It should take up to 7 minutes to complete the process, including boot up.

Took mine around 5 minutes to flash, then another few mins to get to the "upgrading screen" (which is simply android creating the relevant dexes).

Should be no issues. I *would* flash the CWM recovery tho.
Uhm, for some strange reason none of my 2 PCs is able to see P6200 while in recovery mode. Everything is working fine if I connect my GS3 to those PCs. Any clue?
Try using Mobile Odin ;-)
It has worked pretty well for me.
Edit : I had a stock ROM / RECOVERY / ... Only rooted my device.
i'm mirroring the ICS Austria Firmware on media fire. Feel free to download.

you need to use pc + odin to flash this firmware. it doesn't require external sdcard. it is different when you flashing custom ROM, you need external sdcard to put the zip file.

:fingers-crossed:
2nd METHOD
If the above Method didn't work for you because some people are experiencing problems with the above method for the latest firmware so you can try this method which shall work.
Things Required
1)A Rooted Galaxy Core
2)CWM.zip File(In Second Post)
3)Uni-init APK(In Second Post)
4)A Mind
Let's Begin
1) Download and install BusyBox.
- Open and install BusyBox.
- Done!
2) Copy »Uni-init v1.0.apk« to internal memory and install Universal Init.d.
- Please see HERE the entire instructions.
3) Download and install Android Terminal Emulator.
- Open Terminal and type following commands:
PLEASE TYPE THE COMMANDS CAREFULLY OTHERWISE YOU CAN BRICK YOUR DEVICE
Code:
su
cd /storage/sdcard0
sh cwm.sh
- Done!
4) Switch off the Phone completely.
5) Press and hold »Volume up« and »Home«, then press »Power« while "Volume up" and "Home" are held.
- Use »Volume up« and »Volume down« to navigate items and »Power« to select.
3rd Method
First Download Flash_zip from the second post and unzip it in the ADB Folder so the folder where adb files are present you have to unzip there. Now Also Download the recovery.img file from the second post and again place it where the adb files are there. So,The 'flash_image' is within the attached zip file! Use the file within the zip file, NOT the zip file itself.Put the recovery image and the flash_image on the root of your C drive.
Let's Begin
(make sure you're in the command prompt and have changed directory to where the adb file is)
adb push c:\flash_image /sdcard/
adb push c:\recovery.img /sdcard/
adb shell
su
mount -o remount, rw /system
cp /sdcard/flash_image /system/bin
cd /system/bin
chmod 777 flash_image
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13

The only problem is your all data and apps would be deleted so i advise you to take a backup of your all apps by either Titanium Backup Or Through Apps Backup And Restore So that if even any thing goes wrong you will have backup of all your apps. I will make a video guide on how to recover STock Firmware.

Agree, but didn't get time to improve over it. Hope to start it soon... Meanwhile, you are free to fork and modify the code as per your requirement. Please update if you get it working fine.
@trivalent the main problem I think is the reset time, once it took 1 hour for. We now have custom ROMs for our device, so wipe data is now more impotent. Try to fix this when you'll got time

No OS, please help.

For the past 6 hours I've been trying to unbrick my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (G925-W8). I accidentally cleared all the files/ caches with TWRP, now I do not have any OS on it.
Things I've done:
Used Odin to flash a md5 file or a rom I keep getting an error
I'm so lost, I just got the phone yesterday as well too
Do you have twrp? If so, you can sideload a rom. I think you could also mount your sdcard while you're in twrp, and browse it in Windows.

Download official firmware from sammobile if u want official, or a custom rom from here on XDA.
Link to YOUR phones official firmware: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G925W8/
(Please note that firmware downloads from Sammobile are very limited on speed if you are not a premium member. This download can take a few hours to complete)
If you have an official firmware downloaded:
1. extract the zip file to get your .tar.md5 file
2. turn your phone completely off, then back on in "download mode" you can do this by holding the volume down + home + power keys, then click volume up key to go into download/odin mode.
3. Connect your phone to your computer AFTER phone is in download mode and odin is opened and ready, you will then see it connected.
4. In odin, click on the "PDA" or "AP" (in some versions) button, and find your .tar.md5 file and add it.
5. When this is done make sure only F. Reset Time and Auto Reboot is checked, and most importantly, NOT Re-partition!!
6. Click start and wait for phone to automaticly get the firmware and reboot, when the ID:COM is green, and says completed, you may unplug your phone and set it up.
If you have downloaded a custom ROM from XDA:
1. Connect your phone to the computer.
2. Place the downloaded flashable ROM somewhere on your SD card.
3. Remove phone from PC
4. Boot phone into TWRP (custom recovery)
5. Do a data/factory reset
6. Choose install, find and select your file & click add.
7. Drag pointer to flash selected file.
8. For good spirits, do another wipe of ONLY "dalvic cache & cache" before you reboot phone to start it up.
Hope some of this information can be of any help to you just ask if anything is unclear / bad explained BEFORE you actually do something your unsure of!
Regards
- Renolz

Install Recovery TWRP on Recovery PartitionHi, I new member in XDA. I have trick to use normal location recovery TWRP if you use method lafsploit recovery in download mode.
If you use lafsploit, your recovery automatic replace download mode.
If you not need use lafsploit, in here
This Method is Safe, but I don't guarantee.
requirements:
1. Device install Official TWRP App.
2. Download TWRP H918 Latest Version or u need save on Ext. SD Card
3. Download Restore Download Mode Laf_restore.zip Save on Ext.SD Card.
Step:
1. Open the Official TWRP App. Select TWRP Flash. Select the TWRP file to be installed, then Flash To Recovery.
2. Turn off the device, enter the USB cable to the PC, press the volume up button and hold it, connect the USB cable to the device. You will go to Lafsploit TWRP.
3. Select Install, select the laf_restored.zip file.
4. Reboot the System.
5. Now you have TWRP in the Recovery Partition and Download Mode in the partition.
6. You can enter Recovery Mode by pressing the Combination button. With this method you can Update and install it with TWRP without problems.
I tested it on the H91810P without having problems.

Im sorry, i first use XDA.
forgive me, I don't mean to steal other people's work. I only intend to share the tricks of what has been developed. Of course I thank the developers, and I promise to include them. But if it's not pleasing, I don't have a problem deleting my post.

I actually don't even care about credit. I know the people that have been around know what it took to develop lafsploit.
By the way man ( @cnjax ), get a OP7Pro .. it is well worth it. Coming from the V20, the only thing it doesn't have is an SD card slot, and the quad DAC. I never used the quad DAC, and with 256gigs of internal storage I don't need an SD card.
OK, I do have to ask the OP .. why would you post a procedure that was developed here .. has not one (mine) but another supported thread?
Kinda at a loss .. but again, I don't care, take credit for the work The people that matter to me .. IE: @cnjax know where this came from.

PS -- even though I have moved on from LG, I will continue to support all my past work. Just make sure to @ mention me.
