Purchased Sensation from Walmart 3 days b4 the initial launch, took the unit to a local Tmob store who in turn activated it..I already had 1 flex pay line and just added another line....Phone was activated with temp number because i was getting old numer from verizon ported to new line.....long story short Tmob ported to wrong line 2 days later fixed issued but since that time no data connection whats so ever.....Talked to about 20 tmob techs and still no internet!
You need to add an Android approved data service
Also make sure you turn on Mobile Connection in settings

Dude I couldnt go one day lol....
There are steps to ensure you get connected. First off I assume you are still getting phone calls and you can make them as well? Next do you get 4g icon showing up with the little white arrows going up and down?
If so you need to determine you have the following:
1. Use the SIM that came in the box. Just do it!
2. Ensure your IMEI is on tmo's system.
3. Make sure you are on a data plan for ANDROID or coded "Universal" in some cases.
That should get you back up and running unless you have other issues. Did you get trouble tickets created with tmobile in regards to your data issue? You spoke with 20 reps I am suprised not a one offered to call you back in regards to your issue. Usually trouble tickets get resolved in 3 days time.
Everthing tried
THe one funny thing about this since day 1 in the tmob system it says i have a mytouch 4g....yold all 20 techs i have a Sensation.....trouble ticket put in today...hope this works
It really doesn't matter, because the data plan is the same.
i had the my touch preferred plan then they changed it to the pref andriod plan the rep said just incase.
Hello everyone.
I tried to transfer my NET10 number to a Huawei Ascend mate 2 and now neither phone works.
The full story is: I went through the process of transferring my line (typed both MEIDs and phone number)
A few hours later my old phone still worked but I noticed a signal on my mate. There was no data connection yet obviously. I texted my old phone from my new phone and I noticed that there was a new number.
A few hours later the service to my old phone was cut off. I put in the correct APN and Finally! 4G LTE! My new phone still had a new number though; not the one I wanted to be transferred.
A few hours after that the service was disconnected from my new phone as well! I tried to call the new number that previously worked and it doesn't even exist now.
I called customer support and he wasn't able to figure out the problem. He said he'd call back but never did. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem? I've never heard of anything like this.
Thanks for reading this whole thing, Chris
It has to be fixed on their end. Nothing can be done here
Yeah, after two calls to customer service, they told me that they would over-night me a new sim card.
It's been three days and now I have to wait over the weekend. I don't expect it to arrive Monday either honestly.
I've always been satisfied with net10's service, but GOD HELP YOU if you need any sort of assistance. I should have just took the hit and created a new number. Jeese.
I'll be honest that is what I do and I change my number a few times a year. Even when I worked for ATT I advised people just to get a new number. Because in the end it is the carriers choice if they want to let the number go and can cause issues
Hello,
I am from India. I had purchased a Google Nexus 5 phone (Black/ 32GB) last year (December 20th, 2013)
I have started facing a serious issue since yesterday. My entire mobile network went down all of a sudden. Tried using other SIM but of no use. The same SIM works fine in other phone. Other functions including WiFi in Phone works perfectly fine.
A couple of things that I noticed are:
1) When I try to search for the Network manually, I get the message "Error while searching for Network".
2) I noticed that the PREFERRED NETWORK TYPE is defaulted to LTE. I cannot select any other option 2G or 3G.
3) When used Choose Automatically option - it starts with Automatic Registration and then flashes an error "Can't connect to this network right now try again later"
I tried doing a Factory reset hoping that it would work. But, no success. Have contacted LG Direct Service Center (since I bought it from retailer and not from GooglePlay store) and they suggested it's a PCB problem and it needs to replaced which would cost me around 12K INR. Which I am not ready for.
Please let me know what needs to be done. Any help is highly appreciated.
Regards,
Vijay

I have tried with all basic troubleshooting options, kindly check the attached screenshots. Please please help needed urgently.
I was going to make a new thread, but his problem matches mine almost exactly.
Hi guys, i have this problem for over a week now.. A very frustrating week i must say. I got this n5 about a month ago, my uncle got himself a G3 and gave his nexus to me.
Everything was smooth, amazed by the phone, everything working fine, happy as hell. It all crumbled when I went to spend the holidays at my brothers, where he lives my carrier doesn't work (everyone uses another one). When i got back to my house where the mobile network works fine it just stopped. All other sims would work on my phone and my sim work on other phones.
I gave it a time, thought it would be cause i spent too much time on my brothers and it would be ok after a while. It didn't. Then i started to worry and try to fix it somehow. First i got a new simcard (same carrier), no bueno. They told me to restore my phone and stuff, it didn't work. The phone has always that empty triangle, doesn't matter if it's 3G, 4G or 2G.
So I came to the internet look for help. I saw that some people had bring this to the LG, their response was to do a recovery with fastboot and then put 2G on the mobile network. For a moment i thought it was over, my phone finally had some bars !! But to my disgrace I can't make nor receive calls, i can only send/receive SMS and access internet thru 4G, not 2G as the support said. Oh, if i put 3G or 2G dem bars go missing and the empty triangle ****er appears again. Still, my simcard works on every other phone but now only one carrier works on my phone (not mine unfortunately).
Then I started looking on forums like this one and a whole bunch of others and tried many things, all of them unsuccessful.
I tried many things, maybe forgot some but will list those that i remember.
I tried to flash the factory rom. Then tried to flash only the radio of previous androids (tried too many of them to count). Dialed that *#*#4636*#*# or smth, put LTE/GSM, only LTE, activated/deactivated radio. Airplane mode on/off. Tried to recovery on fastboot again. Tried to make new APN. To finish my story, put a Cyanogemod rom and it also didn't work.
So now i decided to post here as my last shot before i go to that carrier that still works. Also, what guarantees that this carrier won't stop working like the others? I'm afraid that may happen. Further informations, i saw many people complaining about T-Mobile and other carries, but I'm brazilian, so it's not one of these. My carrier is Oi and the one that still works is TIM.
The two threads i got most tips were these and some sites in portuguese:
http://forums.androidcentral.com/google-nexus-5/357547-nexus-5-cell-signal-problem-s-fix.html
http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/help/bug-make-receive-calls-wifi-enabled-t2839814
Thank y'all in advance and sorry if my english make it hard or impossible to understand.
My fingers are crossed!
Had this Nexus 6 on Verizon for about 4 months and everything worked fine, switched to T-Mobile about a week ago and it is having major cell connection issue. Before I put the new sim I flashed the newest 6.0.1 version for the nexus 6 I could find on googles website, had no issue there. Inserted T-Mobile sim card and it worked for like 30 mins then keep disconnecting and connecting randomly, checked the APN setting and it looked exactly like the APN setting on T-Mobiles website. Every time I restart the phone it works perfect for like 30 mins and then the disconnecting begins. Went to T-Mobile and got no useful info on my issue just got 2 extra sim card but issue happens exactly the same on all of them. Checked phone info (*#*#4636#*#*) and that looked like a mess since it keep changing preferred networks from LTE/GSM/CDMA to unknown and T-Mobile info would appear from time to time tried switching bands same issue. I have tried all I know but can't solve this issue, please XDA help fix my phone.
P.Shone was bought from amazon a while back(Checked and is the US version).
Maybe this thread here may help or here.

Good afternoon folks, I am into a strange crisis here been at this now for like week and a half. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 on a monthly Koodo plan which I have been using without a problem for approx 2 years one night I turned my phone off and went to bed wakes up next morning turns on my phone to use and I get this security error screen which says “This phone has been flashed with unauthorized software and is locked, call your mobile operator for additional support” then gives me a option to reboot. Right now I am paying for my monthly plan on my phone but I cannot use it I have no accesss to my plan to text or make a call all I can do now is connect to wifi in my house and use Facebook messenger. I really need help to get this problem fixed so I can use my phone on my monthly plan again’ any help would be appreciated I am not sure if my topic I posted is in correct area on this forum hopefully it is
The exact model of my Samsung galaxy is SM-G920T
I noticed that my IMEI has changed from original to what it is supposed to be now too random # like 350000000000006
I have a strong feeling that my phone needs to be rooted which right now it is not because I checked with a app, I have no idea how to root my phone and flash it with the correct files
can this be fixed or do I need to buy a new phone?
