But for Video recording audio is capturing properly(back side mics a working properly). After searching online for "moto xt1225 mic's" and found a website.... https://www.maxbhi.com/microphone-mic-for-moto-turbo.html

Yes that looks correct. In India their XT1225 Quark was called Moto Turbo, but was still just an XT1225. For something like microphone probably even Droid Turbo parts are the same.

Better get it checked at the service center. If the ICs are faulty then replacing the mic won't solve the problem. You will be wasting money in that case.

[Q] very quiet voice only in calls

Hello,
I have a strange problem with my rooted Haier W910 Smartphone (Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8260A CPU with ICS 4.0.4).
In all calls, the microphone is very low and everyone hear me very quiet.
But in all other apps, like voice recorder or google speech recognition, the mic works fine and perfect.
I hold the phone properly and also I don't touch the mic with my fingers in the call.
I can't edit something in the phone options and I don't know / can't find the right secret code for service or engineering mode
Who can help me, please?
Best regards and sorry for my terrible english
Andy

I also have this problem only when i calling out. Changing ROMs dosen't solve this strange problem. The engineer code is *#*#303#*#*
Me too
Anyone found a solution to this? I have exactly the same problem. Just done a static test when I call out using the Haier the voice levels are very quiet. But accepting a call in the voice levels are just fine.
Has to be software related??

It's seem software related but all the ROMs I checked (various 4.0.4 a d 4.1.2] don't solve the problem.
I just returned the phone to the seller.

It seems that the problem is very apparent when using handsfree, because the other party experiences huuge quality loss when the phone is switched to handsfree (switching to the loudspeaker and talking from say 50 cm away) I have however heared ppl tell me that my voice comes through worse then before anyway. Same for cellular and ip calls incl wifi

[REQ] moto G FM radio app

I know that you all will probably say "you can't have an FM radio on the Moto X because it doesn't have the antenna." but in fact it still requires that you use headphones even on the Moto G. So if anyone could please get the moto G radio app that would be awesome!
It will need to be deodexed and what not most likely.

Coming soon but it is useless.
Edit
I have taken it down. If someone wants to prove it works I will put it back.
Anybody get it to work?

moto x doesn't have the hardware for radio fm
Better try TuneIn Radio
As Moto X hasn't the necessary hardware to get working the radio, you better try TuneIn Radio for this. Works flawless and you can choose the streaming radios.

[Q] Any app to record full telephone calls?

I think this is illegal in several countries. I have tested a lot of apps form the Play Store but no of them works for Moto G. Sometimes it's only recorded one part of the conversation.
I think they could depend on the mobile hardware and perhaps there is one good for Moto G.
Any suggestions.
Edit:
I have KK 4.4.4 and not rooted
would like to know that too. i don't understand why google makes it so diffcult to record phone calls in kitkat.

Call Recorder on the Moto G 2013

Hey,
I've been looking for a Call Recorder on the Motorola Moto G 2013 single Sim, no LTE. XT1032.
I could'nt really find anything that is working
I just rooted my device.
Do you know of any that works not just by using the microphone to record but the "phone line"?
I am trying to use the Boldbeast App, but I can't get it working :/
But apparently it should work:
boldbeast.KOM/forum/topic842-moto-g-call-recorder.html (<- gotta change that link as I am not allowed to post links yet)
Thanks in advance!
Best wishes.

okey is cool
Dang it I can't seem to find it anywhere.. I saw that 2 months ago
There have been mods for nexus 5, note 3 etc. to use earpiece for stereo sound output..
Nexus5 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/themes-apps/mod-surround-sound-t2964809
if it could help in the development ...
Okay this was weird, I tried to make a video-call through facebook with a friend of mine but for some reason it wasn't working. After this happening all my media sound was coming from the top speaker (voice speaker). I think this answer my question haha, it is possible apparently.
This would be neat. The major feature I miss from my last phone is stereo speakers.
