There was an option in the watch pull-down quick settings screen that allowed me to put the watch to sleep for one, two, three hours, etc. Great for movie's or work meetings. Part of the OS.
It's gone now, the spot on the quick settings screen that it used to sit in is just empty, the second row, bottom right. See attached photo.
Anyone know why it's gone and how to get it back? Making me crazy...

I think you've desactivated the notification sound or the sound of calls. Try to reactivate ans i think the option will come back

Thanks. I tried turning on all sounds (ring, notification, media, system) up but the option is still missing.
Any other ideas? I've reset my watch a couple times some the last FW update so that doesn't look like a way to fix this.
Do you still have the feature?

On your watch, go to settings, device, edit quick settings. Hope it works!

OMG You're a genius. Thanks. Why the heck they removed it during the FW update I'll never know.
Thanks!

hi. I've been using the watch for about 3 months and all was more or less perfect but yesterday suddenly it got disconnected and when i re-connected it a blue line appeared in the screen. I've tried reflashing the Software reseting the watch and so but nothing helped.

Hi every one;
last night i kept my smart watch in my cupboard and today morning i saw small few lines on the display i dont know why is that... will it going to be end of my watch.
advance thanks;

update: It incredibly repaired itself alone this morning. Maybe it was due to a "hit" on the screen so i recommend you to use double tap as much as posible and hopefully it will be back again perfect.

This morning, at&t update software downloaded a file approximately 700mb big, and when I attempted to update it started the reboot process, as it should, but then stopped abruptly and went back to booting the phone again, and update was not done. At first I thought it was marshmallow, but based on other posts here I see it was just 5.1.1 (right?) anyway, when I went back to software update it said "software update could not be completed" or something along those lines, and then this happened

Now I am unable to update, because the button is greyed out. What do I do? I was told marshmallow was coming soon why are they playing with out little hearts like that? [emoji20]

No marshmellow yet for samsung
Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk
Did the same for me. 1st set your date to Manual and change the date to sometime past the 11 hours. Clear your cache and delete a few unused apps. Download the update and It will then install fine.
Thanks for your help. It worked. After doing some research, I found list of upgrades that include samsung pay, UHQ audio and some other stuff. Does that apply to note edge, though? Or only s6 and above?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N915A using Tapatalk
There has been no change list for the Edge. I don't see any major differences, or any really at all. Performance had been much better, though.
So samsung pay is hardware based and note edge doesn't have it?

If you use the LG Launcher you can get the Smart Settings from the Smart Bulletin page

Oh forgot I installed the update very 4 from LG smart world, it also has the app tray.
Something that I believe Verizon also removed is 'My places' and is required for smart settings.
my place missing from location

This worked to get it - however I can't use it without turning on My Place in locations settings. But I don't have that option in location settings. What am I missing ?
How can I found smart setting !!.????
Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
Smart Settings are almost fully disabled on Verizon LG G5. If you put the Smart Notice widget on your home screen (either LG home will work), you'll get little notifications from it that will open up specific Smart Settings based on what the notification is about. However, if you use these and decide you don't like it, you're stuck...
I'm not rooted, is there a way to stop it from coming up? It's very annoying. Comes up everytime I connect my BT headset........
Yes it is very annoying. I wish it would just remember the setting i had last so i dont have to click ok and then turn the volume up all the way every time i plug it into my car.
Sad to here this happens on bluetooth as well.
Sent from my SM-N930P using Tapatalk
You can turn it off in settings. I turned it off on mine. Just type volume in the search bar and I'm sure you'll see the option. It's kinda oddly hidden in the audio menu somewhere. I returned my Note 7 last Friday, otherwise I'd tell you exactly where to go.

I got the volume warning again today. I checked the setting and its still set to off.
Oh well... most of the time it works... lol

Yea... So this didn't work for me...lol
This didn't work for me either, it seems that setting is only to allow you to set an actual limit on volume (for kids).
Yeah same here. After a reboot I still get the high volume warning.
I was able to turn it on and set a custom limit. I'll get the notification but it won't be until I max out.
Not me. Doesn't matter where input it I still get the same warning.
I'm having issues receiving notices. I have to open the app to see if I received a message. It's set as my default too. Thanks
Check out this app, I paid around three bucks for the premium features. Always delivers, works great in my S8+ and my Pixel XL.

Would whomever I'm messaging need to download this too?
Well, just give it a chance. Settings>Apps>three dots up right your screen then select default app and check Yaata as your SMS default app. This is a better option for SMS, better than Google Message, better than Textra, better than Signal.

Does it have enhanced messaging features? Like know when other person is typing or read your message?
No, I check out, doesn't have enhanced messaging features. My e-mail app got the enhanced features, so I know what's like. Maybe Signal SMS got it, I don't remember sharp.
