If you use the LG Launcher you can get the Smart Settings from the Smart Bulletin page

Oh forgot I installed the update very 4 from LG smart world, it also has the app tray.
Something that I believe Verizon also removed is 'My places' and is required for smart settings.

This worked to get it - however I can't use it without turning on My Place in locations settings. But I don't have that option in location settings. What am I missing ?

Smart Settings are almost fully disabled on Verizon LG G5. If you put the Smart Notice widget on your home screen (either LG home will work), you'll get little notifications from it that will open up specific Smart Settings based on what the notification is about. However, if you use these and decide you don't like it, you're stuck...

UPDATE 6/2/14= Fully enable driving mode on your GS5 by:
1. Downloading SQLite Editor
2. Go to apps-->Settings storage-->settings.db-->system
3. Search "Driving" and change all values to 1 (see screenshot)
4. Reboot and profit!!

I've added carmode toggle to ND2 v1.1 update that will be ready after Sleshepic tests it out. I have no idea if it works, I think it requires a dock?

It is missing from the custom rom and has to be added back in.
I had a similar issue on my stock rom. I solved it by opening sqlite settings storage:settings.db:system and search for driving then changing the 0 to 1 on driving_mode_message_notification that opened up the other options for me in the menu

That's the app. And you may be able to find it under Security. I don't use it anymore so I can't remember, I use Cerebrus.

It's not in the settings menu. It's in the app drawer as Device Manager.

Go into Google Settings > Android Device Manager.The app you see in the Play Store is the manager you use when the device is lost, like what you get when you use it on a desktop. The actual thing is part of Google Services.

In the email app and messaging app there used to be in the setting a way to set a delay that gave time to cancel/edit the message. I can't find those. See the pic from S5 stock message app

I'm running Verizon variant, and the email delay is no longer available. I guess I'll have to censor myself before clicking send in the future.
you can use "schedule message"....you can sit the time to send the message.....it's better than nothing
Try pressing and holding the send arrow when sending a test. Not sure about email.
Come to think about it, I use Messenger+ app from VZW, so it may not be in the Samsung messenger app
Every time I use the gear VR the accessibility settings are messed up.
All my accessibility setting are set to off.
Apex launcher needs this so I get an message when I do a certain swipe action.
Strange thing is when I enter the settings for the apex is set off, but when I open the apex setting this one is enabled.
So I need to disable it and then enable the settings.
And when enabling one setting to on, all my setting are on.
Anyone confirm this?
Maybe an solution?

Same thing happens to me with Nova Launcher when using Gear VR. I have to re-enable the accessibility settings for it every time after using it.
So probably a bug in the software?
Any know how to fix this or is this up to samsung?

ok guys as a title say i want to request a very simple app with icon that when clicked on it lock the screen and off (like pressing lock key) that does not conflict with default fingerprint of galaxy S7 because i try almost all similar apps on play store and all of them when used to lock screen when i want to unlock S7 again says for security u must enter pin/pattern instead of fingerprint.
so if possible if anybody know app name or any developer that can write pls do this .tnx a lot.
