Hello all!
I am currently running Resurrection Remix(yay oreo!) on my s6 and whenever I turn the screen on, the backlit hardware keys (multitasking and back) are always on. I want to turn it off. How can I do that?

I installed CM 10.1 successfully. However whenever I press the power button the display does not wake up. However the screen does not turn on. I have to restart the phone for the screen to turn on. The buttons however do glow.
Anyone else have this problem and were able to fix it?
Thank You,
Karthik
I have a tablet wich runs only one app for light control in my house.
The tablet is fixed on the wall.
I want to turn the screen off after some seconds.
When i touch the screen it has to switch on.
Tried a screensaver but it doesnt really turns the screen black.
Still light coming off.
Is it possible to do ?
It runs Android 4.1.1
Who can help me? Tnx!
At first I thought this was impossible, I am using "Light Flow" and always as soon as I unlocked the screen, the led turned off.
But now, I flashed a kernel with touch controls, and I notice that when I wake up the screen with a double tap or a swipe, and I'm on the PIN/etc locker screen, the led is still ON! In fact, it can stay on until I unlock the phone..
If hardware can handle screen and led on at the same time without a problem, there's any way to keep it ALWAYS on without caring if you wake up the phone with the button or unlock it?
Thanks!
I'm facing a backlight issue whenever I use a rom with kernel 3.0. My Screen Backlight automatically turns without any display on it, just the screen backlight, I'm facing this whenever I lock my phone..Pls. help!
When I turn off the screen on my phone, the back light on the buttons are always on. Is there a way to disable them completely? This runs my battery out, and I need battery life the most on the Skyrocket. Anyways, not sure why this is programmed into the rom, but needed some help turning it off. I would prefer to leave it off completely, even if the screen is on. Anyways, thanks.
Go into device specific/sensors/and toggle 'Enable Keys Backlight' and/or 'Enable Keys Notifications' off. The lights won't follow the screen on/off, but you can disable them that way.
